    SJL METAL 12/16/03

*CLICK* The camera flashes on, in what appears to be a parking lot. Vaguely defined shapes around the edge of the frame resemble cars, and a faint background noise is identifiable as wind. The majority of the shot however, is an immense wall of orange flames, licking in the wind and crackling as it burns. Standing in front of the blaze is the form of a man, his head lowered and his arms crossed across his chest. At his feet, another human shape, head bowed and kneeling. As the camera zooms in, the forms become defined, and the standing man raises his head. By the orange glow of the fire behind him we are able to make out the hooded, scowling face of the SJL Champion, Todd Royal. Looking dead ahead into the lens, the champion’s lips curl slightly. “You know, for all the criticisms, for all the complaints, let it never be said I’m not patient.” With the loud crack of the fire, sparks shower down around Royal. “ I gave you chance after chance to just put an end to it. To stop embarrassing yourself, this company, that title and this business. I WARNED you and all you did was laugh. So you’ve got no one to blame but yourself for what you’re staring down right now. I’m sick and tired of being disrespected, and you’re going to be the punching back for all of my frustrations. Cuz, see, I’m what makes this company. I’m what fills the seats and sells the merchandise. You think anyone would care about people like Landon Maddix or Aecas if it wasn’t for Todd Royal? You think anyone would give a crap about the SJL European Championship if I hadn’t made it something to be proud of? You think ANYONE would come to an SJL show if not for a chance to see Todd Royal live and give SOME meaning to their pathetic lives?!? I’m single-handedly responsible for making this garbage watchable, and I don’t get the credit I deserve. No, when the SJL wants to promote their company, who do they turn to? The man who is responsible for reducing the US suicide rate and giving hope to the hopeless? Nope. Mickey Mouse, and Alan freaking Clark.” Reaching down, Royal grabs a small rectangular object from the person crouched in front of him. Holding it at his side, Todd reaches up and pulls away his hood. Grinding his teeth and widening his eyes, the champion continues to talk, his voice rising. “ And Clark, you walk out here night after night with your fairy dust and your sing alongs. You promote Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as heroes to children, as some sort of twisted role model. And by doing so, you put yourself on a pedestal. As something to look up to. Yeah, Alan, you’re a real hero aren’t you? Everyone should grow up with the desire to be some twisted freak who bleeds for fun. Every kid should yearn to be a delusional moron who can’t settle on a state of mind, let alone a personality for more than a month. You may parade around now with a grin plastered on your face, and a song in your heart, but I remember who you really are. You’re Bloodshed. You’re the Apostle. You’re an anti-social loser who mutilates his body and his mind for pleasure. That’s no hero. Todd Royal is the picture of physical perfection and the personification of mental health. I AM a hero. And you’re a hell of a role model aren’t you, Clark? I know I want the future of America growing up trying to be underachieving losers. If kids pattern themselves after you, we’ll have a generation of failures and washouts. Because while you walk around with that title belt I won, made, and never lost, wearing it like a badge of honor- I know that you’re little more than a loser. I beat you easily on my first day in this company. You couldn’t even come close. I’m a TWO time World Champion, you’ll never even look at that belt. That’s no role model. Todd Royal is the textbook definition of success, and what every champion should be. I AM a role model.” Now practically foaming at the mouth, Royal holds up the object that has been by his side. Revealing it to the camera as a video tape of “The Fox and the Hound”, the champion smirks and rips it apart, leaving a trail of tape waving in the wind. Snarling into the camera, the champion’s voice lowers again. “So go on promoting your false idols. Your cartoon heroes and plastic role models. But when it comes to our match on Pay Per View, you’ll pay for your sins. Because all your corporate propaganda, Disney crap will come back to haunt you. It’s one thing to be an embarrassment to me and everything I’ve built. It’s another thing to break the first commandment of the Book of Todd. And that’s EXACTLY what you’ve done…” Tossing the tape into the flames behind him, Royal reaches down and beckons the kneeling figure to rise. Holding the World Heavyweight Title out in front of her, Megan Skye rises to her feet and tosses back her hair. Pawing at Royal’s chest, she throws back her head and laughs as the camera pans away and reveals the full source of the bonfire. A gigantic stuffed plush Mickey Mouse. “…Though shalt not have other Todd’s before me…” *CLICK* The opening pyro brings an official start to SJL Metal, as the cameras pan over the crowd and then down to the announce table, where Annie and Judge sit in silence. Ejiro is laughing his ass off. “He lit up that Mickey Mouse! Praise Todd!” “Will you shut up!” Annie brings her hand back to slap Ejiro, but puts it down after a moment, “Todd Royal has no shame…he could have permanently injured the European Champion and now he is making a mockery of our contract with Disney…you know they are paying for part of your paycheck…” “So? What are they going to do about it…send Goofy down here to kick my ass! I’m Ejiro Fasaki!” “Just…just shut up…” Annie puts her head in her hands and Judge takes over. “Fans…welcome to SJL Metal…If you missed the first few minutes of the show…well…we just saw the World Champion Todd Royal completely desecrate all that Alan Clark stands for. Clark was heavily injured just a few days ago on Crimson, where after securing a World title shot, he was viciously attacked by Royal and the former European Champion Landon Maddix, who has seemingly formed some kind of alliance with the World Champion… …as of right now we do not know when Clark will get his title shot. In fact, we are not sure if Clark will ever be able to cash in on his win after that attack. Hopefully in the next few days we will have some ---“ Suddenly, Judge is cut off by a booming voice over the PA System, and the SmarkTron comes to life once more… World Champion Todd Royal June 29th… The SmarkTron shows Todd Royal rolling up Alan Clark, then known as Bloodshed, in both superstars first match in the SJL. “Here is YOUR WINNER…TODD ROYAL!” Funyon’s voice can be heard as Todd raises his hands in victory before turning to a close-up of Bloodshed’s face, racked with disappointment. Shots of Todd Royal’s various wins over the next few months flash across the screen…finishing with… November 23rd… “Bow before Todd” Highlights of Todd Royal’s match with Aecas…where in the end…Todd Royal won the SJL World Championship… “Here is YOUR WINNER…and NEWWWWW SJL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION… TODDDDDD ROOOOYAAAAAALLLLL~!” The screen shows Todd holding the World Title high above his head…but soon the screen is overcome by blood and fire and the voice returns… European Champion Alan Clark June 29th… The SmarkTron shows Bloodshed walking to the back after his first loss, his head low…then his own voice comes over the scene… “I thought I had lost it all…but I came back…” The scene changes to Bloodshed running rough-shod over the SJL over the next few weeks, winning Mall Brawl and even securing the European Championship in a 36th and Hastings Street Fight…then Bloodshed’s voice returns… “Soon you will know…True Grace!” Shots of Craig McLennan’s piledriver are shown, as is the chaos that followed…the re-birth of the Apostle… “The Apostle just defeated Crow!” “My God! Apostle just pulled a huge upset over Jamie Drazon!” “Unbelievable…Apostle has escaped from the Demonstar Driver…… Shots of the SWF Genesis Four Tournament accompany Bobby Riley and Cyclone Comet’s voices … “…Apostle has made Nathaniel Kibagami tap out!” The Apostle is shown standing over various SWF wrestlers and then the almost lethal toss of Craig McLennan down two stories in a Condemned House Match. The SmarkTron goes dark….and then… “Zip A Dee Doo Dah…..” The music begins to echo around the arena and the SmarkTron comes back to life, showing a returning Alan Clark … his nicknames gone…leaving only the man behind…. “Thou shalt worship Todd!” Various scenes are shown of Todd Royal confronting Alan Clark, only for Alan to simply walk away. All of this lead too… November 23rd … Later in the night, Todd Royal would go on to defeat Aecas for the World Title…but before that…Todd was a spectator as Landon Maddix defended his European Championship against a rejuvenated Alan Clark… The SmarkTron shows highlights of the contest…including various shots of Todd Royal as he watched from the outside of the ring as Landon tapped out to the EPSOT and gave Alan Clark the European Title for the second time. “Here is YOUR WINNER…and NEW SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPION…ALAN CLARK~!” The SmarkTron fades on Alan holding the European Title high above his head… December 12th… Funyon lays down the rules… “Ladies and Gentlemen…the following match is for one fall…should Alan Clark win, he will receive a World Title shot…but should the World Champion win…he will have a chance to take the European Title away from Alan Clark…” His voice fades away over highlights of the match…ending with Alan Clark catching a Monorailer and getting his first win over Todd Royal… “Ladies and Gentlemen…here is YOUR WINNER…and Number One Contender…ALAN CLARK!” Suddenly the SmarkTron goes black…and… "Please Stand Clear of the Ring. Por favor Soporte Claro Del Anillo." "For the safety and comfort of others...no smoking please. Para la seguridad y la comodidad de otras... el ningún fumar por favor" "The SJL and the Walt Disney Company are proud to present...YOUR EUROPEAN CHAMPION!” “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” explodes throughout the arena, and after a hesitant moment… ALAN CLARK STEPS THROUGH THE CURTAIN! “Alan Clark is here!” the entire announce team screams in unison as Alan limps out to the ring, showing definite signs of pain as he holds the European title over his head. “He’s made it…somehow he’s made it…and Todd Royal can not be happy!” Annie yells as Alan finally gets to the ring and climbs the steps and into the ring, Alan asks for a microphone and Funyon obliges. The crowd has not stopped screaming as the music dies down and Alan takes in the applause. “People, people…calm down…” Alan says and slowly the crowd’s cheers fade. “Now I know a lot of you…including the World Champion and his buddy…thought that they had seen the last of me on Crimson… Well they thought wrong… I have been in and out of doctor’s offices for the past few days and they all tell me that I should not get back into the ring until next year…but I told them what I am going to tell you now… I’m not that kind of person!” Alan raises his arm in defiance, causing another round of applause. “As I have said time and time again…Alan Clark…by any name…is still Alan Clark! I couldn’t get the job done six months ago…but I damn sure got the job done last week! I sat in the back just now and I saw that tape from earlier today, with ‘our Todd’ acting in true egotistical form, saying that I’m delusional and I have no idea what is going on…well Mr. Royal…Todd…I damn sure know that this little injury isn’t going to stop me! You don’t understand…I have lost blood.…more blood than I thought was humanly possible…and I came back for more! I was dropped on my head…and it only made that fire inside me grow! You all saw it during the Genesis Tournament…you all saw it when I became a two time European Champion… Todd Royal saw it when I pinned his shoulders to the mat for a three count… And he will see it again… Whether you call me Bloodshed….or The Apostle…or Alan freaking Clark…it doesn’t matter…soon you all will have one more thing to call me… World….Heavyweight…Champion!” The crowd explodes once more and a close-up shows a huge smile on Alan’s face as “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” begins to play once more, and Alan drops the microphone and leaves the ring. As he heads backstage, the announce crew is in shock. “Alan Clark is back and it seems he still has his sights set on Todd Royal…” Judge starts…but Ejiro cuts him off… “…even after sustaining that awesome beating! It doesn’t matter when this match is…it could be in three years…Alan Clark does not stand a chance!” Ejiro laughs and Annie tries to put in her two cents...but the SmarkTron whirs to life once more… European Champion Alan Clark… World Heavyweight Champion Todd Royal… December 21, 2003… The World Championship is on the line…. FALLS. COUNT. ANYWHERE. …Some Must Go Through Hell…To Find Their Place In Heaven… Backstage, a camera catches Todd Royal and Megan Skye destroying their dressing room as they stare at a television monitor. Metal goes to commercial as Todd can be heard ranting and raving as the camera zooms in on the monitor…showing Todd Royal on the left and Alan Clark on the right… with “World Heavyweight Championship – Falls Count Anywhere” in between them.

    SJL Holiday Schedule

After Crimson tonight and Metal on Tuesday, there will be just one more show before the SJL's holiday hiatus. It's on Sunday, the 21st, and it is the so-far-untitled SJL holiday show. I'm now taking suggestions on names for this special show. Please post them here on the thread. The final title will be decided when the holiday card goes up.

    PROMO - A less-than-triumphant return

PM me when you're ready Liston. The holiday show is the 21st, or I can put you down for "after the break."

    SJL Crimson Card

The #1 contender determined on Crimson will get his title shot on the first show after the holiday break - which should start off the new year with a bang! As Clark or Royal may end up with both belts by the end of the year, the date for the European #1 contender's title match is still to be announced. Take that any way you will.

    Comments of Wrath...

Bah. Todd and Spike's matches were just so good that it took me all day to decide a winner. Uh, yeah. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. For the record, the winning match is edited in. It may surprise you. > Bah again. My friends don't have computers any more. Well, one does, but I haven't really seen her much since she lost her mind. We won't even go there.

OPENING PROMO: Unknown Warrior What's the Warrior got to say tonight? Will the mystery be revealed? Will the Unknown One unveil his identity? Or are we just teasing the audience only to screw them over later? OPENING MATCH Unknown Warrior vs. David Cross Well, whoever the Warrior is, he'll have some tough competition in newcomer David Cross, who was victorious in his debut match against Frankie Deed. Word Limit: 3500 Send To: Thoth SINGLES MATCH "Fruity" Frankie Deed vs. Sean Casey Despite a great effort from Frankie Deed, he couldn't get the victory over David Cross in his first match. Perhaps his luck will be better against Sean Casey. Word Limit: 3500 Send To: Ace309 NON-TITLE MATCH Alan Clark vs. Santa Claus It would appear that the Disney Sponsored Wrestler's feud with World Champion Todd Royal is coming to a head. Commissioner Raynor is loath to throw them together tonight, instead giving the European Champion a warm up against... Santa Claus. Word Limit: 4500 Send To: Tod deKindes NO STIPULATIONS ATTACHED Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix vs. Aecas These guys both balked at Hell in a Swimming Pool II, and didn't get a match in even after it was changed to Mystery Stipulation. Word Limit: 5000 Send To: Thoth MAIN EVENT NO-DISQUALIFICATION MATCH Todd Royal vs. "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins Todd Royal has a lot on his plate these days. To him, it may be the Second Era of Todd, but there are plenty of guys gunning for his World Championship, including Alan Clark. Royal takes on Spike Jenkins tonight in what should be a hell of a main event, but with no DQ, who knows who might interfere in this one? Rules: Disqualification and countout rules are not in effect. Word Limit: 5500 Send To: Longdogger_Pete

    SJL Metal - 12/3/03

As Metal roars back from commercials, we see an outside shot of the CN Tower, and the brilliantly lit Skydome in downtown Toronto. As the camera moves inside the building, we see a rabid crowd of Canadian wrestling fans, buzzing and talking excitedly as they make their way back to their seats. As the Camera pans past the hotel skyboxes, we see a collection of dignitaries, ranging from Blue Jays pitcher Pat Hentgen to former SJL and SWF wrestlers. The crowd pops at the star power and the camera drops to the middle of the field, where a Steel Cage is being fastened around the SJL ring. As the ring crew works, the fans in the dome amuse themselves. “LETS GO LEAFS!” “LETS GO LEAFS!” “LETS GO LEAFS!” Ejiro: Welcome back to METAL~! Annie: We’re live from the SkyDome in Toronto, where we’ve already seen a HUGE night of action! We’ve had a pair of debuts, an in-ring appearance by St. Nick, and a parade of wild matches. Judge: The biggest of all is yet to come, however. The ring crew is just now finishing setting up a 15 foot steel cage. In minutes, Manson will step into the cage to go one-on-one with the World Champion, Todd Royal. Royal’s looking to make his first successful title defense, while Manson’s looking to FINALLY grab that gold belt. Ejiro: Todd willing, that idiot Manson will NEVER get a hold of the World Title. Royal’s going to DESTROY him tonight. Speaking of which, lets get down to Funyon, and commence the massacre! Panning away from the announce position, the camera finds the SJL’s ever dapper Funyon stepping through the door and into the cage. Pulling the microphone to his lips, the announcer seems to pull a string, immediately brining every audience member into their seat in anticipation. Funyon: Ladies and Gentlemen…the following is your MAIN EVENT…it is a STEEL CAGE MATCH with no time limit…and it is for the S…J….L…. WOOOORRRRLLLLDDD HEAVYWEIGHT WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP!! With that, the entire SkyDome is immersed in a crimson light. The jampacked crowd leaps to their feet and erupts as the opening sounds of “Frankenstein” by the Edgar Winter Group blast over the PA system. Parting the curtain and thrusting his fist into the air, Manson peers through the hair that frames his face and smiles a sadistic grin as he runs down the ramp towards ringside. Funyon: Announcing first…the challenger…from Denver, Colorado…weighing in at two hundred twenty five pounds…he is MANSON!!! The crowd explodes again as the challenger reaches the center of the dome and looks out into the crowd. Grinning again, Manson grabs the steel mesh and begins to climb, brining the decibel level in the Dome up with him as he scales the cage. Reaching the top of the structure, Manson removes his leather jacket and hurls it to the floor, laughing as he leaps into the middle of the ring. As the crowd continues to cheer, the lights slowly come back on and “Frankenstein” fades away. Annie: Tonight could be the conclusion of a long and winding journey for Manson. He’s been in the ring with some of the all-time greats in the SJL, and some would argue he’s earned a spot right beside those names. He has never, however, claimed the SJL World Title, a prize that would remove all arguments and put him firmly in SJL lore. Ejiro: That’s all fine and dandy, but hyperbole don’t win titles. Fact is, Manson has tried and failed before. Fact is, Manson had a tables match to fight through on Crimson, while Royal just got to hang around and beat on Alan Clark. Manson better learn to debate, because he won’t have that title to back up his argument. The excited crowd quickly turns hostile as the lights in the SkyDome go off completely. From the back of the field comes a soft, but distinct hum of voices. As the crowd turns, dozens of small flames appear in both dugouts, illuminating the faces of two complete church choirs, each softly singing a chorus of praise. As a soft white light falls from the roof of the dome, a huge stained-glass portrait of Todd Royal is visible over home plate. The crowd erupts in jeers as the choirs die out, replaced by strobe lights and the sounds of Motley Crue’s “Livewire”. Funyon: And his opponent…accompanied to the ring by Megan Skye, and weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds…from San Diego, California…he is the current, reigning, and defending SJL World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion…this is TODD ROYAL!!! Boos drown out the announcement of the champion’s name as the curtain parts and Megan Skye steps through. Wearing a red, white and blue mini-skirt outfit, Skye flashes a condescending grin at the jeering crowd before pulling away the curtain to reveal Todd Royal, World Title around his waist and “IN TODD WE TRUST” emblazoned on his vest. Strutting slowly to the ring, Todd gives the cage a once over before allowing Megan to open the door and let him into the enclosure. Judge: A Big proving ground here tonight for Royal. He beat Aecas to win the title on Wrath, but he barely pulled out the victory. Now he’s going head-to-head with Manson, a very dangerous man who he has never faced one-on-one. And he’s doing it inside a steel cage. Ejiro: Royal has been across the ring from Manson before, however, and his team defeated Manson’s team in a big six man tag team match! Annie: Todd won’t have any help in this one though, not even from Megan. This steel cage will make sure of that. Someone HAS to win, and they’re going to have to do it by themselves. As Funyon steps through the door and down the steps, outside referees Ced Ordonez and Anthony Michael Hall thread a length of chain through the door. Snapping the lock in place and warning Megan about interference, the officials give the OK to the in-ring official Eddy Long, to begin the match. Nodding to each wrestler, Long signals for the bell. *DING* *DING* *DING* Judge: And we’re underway in our steel cage MAIN EVENT! The crowd buzzes as the competitors circle each other, staring at each other, and at the cage that surrounds them. Taking the first initiative, the champion slowly raises his arm into the air, offering a lockup to his opponent. Instead of accepting the knuckle lock, however, Manson spins around, lifting his leg and striking Royal’s hand out of the air with a roundhouse kick. *SMACK!* Scowling and shaking his hand in pain, Todd backs off and glares at the challenger. Cracking his neck and shrugging, Royal begins to walk back into the ring. Staring Manson right in the eyes, Todd quickly darts to the mat, diving at the left leg of his opponent. Grabbing the calf, Royal has no time to make a move before the challenger pulls away driving his knee into the chest of the champion. *THUD* Annie: Manson showing right from the opening bell that he’s not willing to give Todd Royal and advantage. Royal tried to take him to the mat, but Manson has twice knocked Todd off his game. Ejiro: Royal’s NEVER off his game. Those two attempts may not have worked, but Todd’s got a MILLION ways to beat Manson. Just you watch. With a groan and a grimace, Royal releases Manson’s leg and rolls to his feet. Gritting his teeth, the champion nods and heads back to mid-ring again. Todd lunges forward with his arms extended, the champion reaches for a tie-up. Manson spins away from the champion and spins in with an elbow, but Royal avoids that blow as well. Ducking under the challenger’s arm, Todd springs up, firing off a stiff knife-edge chop to the chest of Manson. *SMACK!* “WHOOOOOOO!!!!” Manson staggers, and Royal follows him, taking a pair of steps and unleashing a second vicious chop to the challenger’s sternum. *SMACK!* “WHHOOOOOOO!” *SMACK!* “WHOO…” *SMACK!* *SMACK!* *SMACK!* “BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!” Judge: OH! Royal comes back firing, unloading on Manson with a series of chops! Todd’s going to have to have to brawl his way to a victory here, and Manson’s going to have to be ready to take a lot of those strikes. As the crowd rains down jeers on the champion, a grin forms on the face of Todd Royal. Backing off and leaving Manson backed up against the steel, Todd growls and charges in, lifting his foot and aiming at the face of the challenger. Royal’s bootscrape misses the mark, however, as Manson slides out of the way and Todd crashes foot first into the cage. Annie: Looks like Manson is more than ready for Royal, moving out of the way and sending Royal into the cage! Todd hits that cage hard, and that’s gotta affect the knees, a problem area for him lately. Ejiro: Todd has NO leg problems. He had last week off, and he is fully prepared and ready to go right now. As Royal bounces off the cage, Manson dives forward, tossing out his arm and drilling Todd in the jaw, bringing the champion to the mat with a lariat. Royal’s head bounces off the canvas, and the challenger immediately yanks him up, planting him on his feet on the mat. Hooking his opponent around the waist, Manson lifts Royal into the air and drives him down spine-first across his knee. Royal slumps to the mat, but the manic Manson refuses to let up. Grabbing Royal by the hair, the challenger Irish whips his opponent into the mesh. Todd clangs off the cage, but Manson leaps into the air, jamming his knee into the base of the champion’s neck and whip lashing his face into the steel. “OOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Judge: Muay Thai jumping knee by Manson drives the champion face-first into the steel! The challenger is on fire! Ejiro: Todd’s going to put that fire out real soon, just you watch! Leaning into the cage, Royal’s eyes are glazed and he is breathing heavily. His eyes widen quickly however, as Manson grabs him by the back of the head and shoves his face into the mesh. The camera outside the ring captures the pain on the face of Todd as the challenger pulls his opponent across the steel, grating Royal’s face on the cage. Ejiro: Todd Almighty! What is Manson doing to Royal! That’s disgusting!! Disqualify that ingrate! Annie: It’s a CAGE match, idiot. No one is going to be DQ’d for using the CAGE. If Royal can’t handle the pain and the blood that comes with matches like this, he’s not fit to be the champ. Judge: Well, not everyone gets off on the sight of blood like you do… Ejiro: That explains why she keeps sending Megan letters at the end of every month… Judge: ALRIGHT, that’s enough of THAT… Manson has obviously not had nearly enough, however. Peeling Royal off the cage, the challenger spins Todd around, climbing to the second turnbuckle and showing the camera a small stream of blood trickling down the face of the champion. Raising his hand in the air, Manson rains down with a knife-edge chop to the back of Royal’s neck. Todd’s head snaps back in reaction to the pain, and the challenger wraps his arm around his throat. Royal gurgles and struggles to escape, but Manson cinches on the sleeper hold. Leaping from the turnbuckles, the challenger whips into the ring and lays out. As he crashes to the mat, Todd’s head bounces off the canvas again. Royal’s body goes limp and Manson grins, floating over and pressing the champion to the mat for a cover. Judge: Drop Sleeper from the middle rope on Royal!! Manson looking for an early pinfall! ONE!… . . . . . . . . TWO!!… . . . . . . . KICKOUT!!! Ejiro: WHOOO!! Royal kicks out! It’s gonna take a lot more than that to knock Todd off his throne!! As Eddy Long holds up two fingers to signal the near-fall, and the Canadian crowd responds back with a “Twwwooooo” of their own, Manson mounts his opponent and begins unleashing a series of elbows to the face of Royal. Todd tries to cover up, but Manson leans in, baring his teeth and biting the gash in the champion’s forehead. Royal screams and flails his arms and legs, pounding on Manson’s back until he pulls off and climbs to his feet. Royal covers up and rolls toward the ropes as the challenger tosses back his head, grinning maniacally and spitting a mouthful of Todd’s blood into the air, drawing a huge round of cheers from the Toronto crowd. “MAN-SON!” “MAN-SON!” “MAN-SON!” Annie: Royal is busted wide open, and Manson is more than capitalizing by biting the forehead of the champ! Ejiro: He’s a barbarian! Doesn’t he know that is his Todd and Savior. Stop now Manson, and beg forgiveness, throw yourself at the Mercy of Todd and you may gain redemption!! As Todd pulls himself to his feet by the cage, Manson tears off his shirt and stalks toward his opponent. Royal attempts a weak kick, but Manson grabs it and hooks him in for a Dragon Screw Leg whip. Before the challenger can pull the trigger on the move, however, Royal leaps into the air, spinning around and hitting his opponent in the side of the head with an enzuigiri. “OHHHHHHHH!!!” Manson drops to the mat, but instead of capitalizing, Royal moves to the far corner and climbs to the middle turnbuckle. Megan Skye hurls a towel over the cage to her man, who furiously wipes the blood off his brow. Scowling at the red-stained rag, Todd tosses it back to the outside, just as Manson climbs back to his feet. Judge: With what little advantage Royal has had throughout this match, I don’t know how smart it was to not follow up on that enzuigiri. He wanted to get rid of the blood on his face, but he’s given Manson enough time to recover. Royal doesn’t give his opponent enough time to react, however, as he leaps from his perch on the turnbuckles, flipping head-over-heels and crashing spine-first into the face of Manson. As the challenger crashes to the canvas upon impact, Royal pins his shoulders to the mat, demanding Eddy Long make the count. Ejiro: Somersault Press by Todd! It’s all OVER!! ONE!… . . . . . . . . TW… . . . . . KICKOUT!! Annie: Only a one count on the cover by Todd Royal. Manson knows that he has to make something of this shot at the title, and it’s going to take something BIG to beat him on this night. Ejiro: EVERY move Royal does is big, baby! He’s Todd Almighty!! Frustrated, Todd grabs his opponent by the hair and pulls him up to his feet. Manson fires off a desperation discus punch, but Royal ducks, hooking the challenger between the legs and turning him upside-down into the air. Bodyslamming Manson to the canvas, Royal sizes up his opponent and drops an elbow to the face. Judge: We’ve already seen tonight that Manson is going to do anything- tear into Royal, beat him down- to win that belt. Now it’s time to see if Todd can do what it takes to fight him off! “ROYAL SUCKS!” “ROYAL SUCKS!” “ROYAL SUCKS!” As the crowd shows their allegiance, the World champion runs to the far ropes. Manson staggers to his feet, but barely has time to determine his position in the ring when Royal rebounds off the ropes and comes flying across the ring, hooking the challenger around the waist and driving him into the canvas. Ejiro: SPEAR~! With the boos continuing to shower down, Todd begins to climb the ropes in between two corners, using the chain-link cage to pull himself up. Reaching the top rope, Royal releases his grasp on the cage and leaps up, arcing backwards and coming down across the chest of Manson. Judge: Picture Perfect Moonsault by Royal! That could be it for the challenger! Ejiro: Aha! Manson chokes again! ONE!… . . . . . . . TWO!!… . . . . . . . THR… . . . . . . KICKOUT!! Annie: NO! Another kickout by Manson! I don’t think Manson’s prepared to lose this match. He thinks this is finally his night, and I can’t say I disagree. Ejiro: Oh he BETTER be prepared, because neither he nor anyone else will disrupt the reign of Todd!! The crowd cheers the kickout, but frustration is etched in the face of Todd Royal. With a scowl and a grunt, the champion slashes his throat with his thumb and jerks Manson off the mat. Driving him headfirst into the cage, Royal backs off and lets his opponent slump against the steel as he straightens his kneepad and boot. Side-stepping Manson, Todd steps in and drills him into the cage with a shin strike into the back of the head. Grabbing the challenger by the hair, Royal grinds his head into the cage with a vengeance. The camera angle switches to the ringside camera again, and reveals not pain, but a grin across the face of Manson as blood drips onto his teeth. Jerking his opponent back into the ring, Royal lets out a “WHOOOOOOO!!” of victory. Ejiro: NICE! Todd’s beating the tar out of Manson! Rip him apart Todd!! Annie: What?!? A few minutes ago you were saying how barbaric Manson was for tearing into Todd! Ejiro: EXACTLY. For tearing into Todd. You seem to have grasped the syntax, but not the point. Back in the ring, Royal grasps Manson around the neck. Hooking his hand in the belt loops of the challenger’s pants, Todd lifts his opponent off the mat and drops him across the top turnbuckle. With Manson straddling the corner, Todd scales the buckles after him, hooking him around the neck again. Royal pulls Manson into a standing position and attempts to superplex the challenger back into the ring. Manson grabs the cage beside him, however, blocking the maneuver and putting on the brakes. Todd breaks his hold to pull his opponent off the mesh, but when he returns to the suplex position Manson lifts him into the air. Coming down in a sitting position, the challenger drives the champion face first into the mat. “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” Judge: MINDBENDER!!… Annie:…from the TOP ROPE!! Ejiro: Todd Damn, get up!! The crowd is on their feet all over the SkyDome as Manson rolls Royal over onto his back. Eddy Long hits the mat to count the fall, and 60,000 Canadians count along with him. ONE!… . . . . . . . TWO!!… . . . . . . . THR… . . . . . . EEEEE…. . . . . NO!!! Ejiro: Todd Bless us, he kicked out!! Royal kicked out of the Mindbender!! “MAN-SON!” “MAN-SON!” “MAN-SON!” Annie: Royal gets his shoulder up at the last second to save the match and the title, but Manson is FIRMLY back in control now, and perhaps ready to finish Todd off. Outside the ring, Megan releases screams in protest as Manson grabs Royal by the cut on his forehead and pulls him forcefully off the mat. Todd puts up little fight as the challenger grabs him around the waist and pulls him in. Letting out a yell and lunging backwards, Manson releases the hold in mid-air, sending Royal crashing into the cage, sliding down between the cage and ropes. Judge: OH! Brutal German Suplex by Manson! Royal just collided face-first with the steel and now he’s trapped upside-down against the cage! The champion is in a bad way right now! Backing up, Manson wipes the blood from his eyes and plants his feet. Royal struggles to slide through the ropes and regain his footing, but the challenger takes off running, raising his foot and driving his boot hard into the champion’s spine with a stiff Yakuza kick that rattles the cage. Royal, still trapped against the cage, grimaces in pain and gasps for breath, as Manson plots his next move. Thinking quickly, the challenger grabs one of Todd’s legs and pulls back. Stretching his opponent over the ropes, Manson plants his foot against the cage and pulls back with all his strength. Royal’s face is pulled up against the steel, and he screams in agony as blood begins to stream from his forehead again. Judge: A Standing crab variation by Manson. That’s just a brutal move, wrenching on the back of Royal, and dragging the champion’s face across the cage!! As Megan screeches at ringside, Manson breaks the hold and allows Todd to slump down to the apron. Pulling Royal into the ring, the challenger laughs and Irish whips the champion face-first into the steel again. Ejiro: This is ridiculous! This is supposed to be a WRESTLING match and Manson is just physically assaulting Todd! Annie: Not just physically assaulting him, but Manson is working Royal over mentally as well. For someone like Todd Royal, who’s used to technical contests and tends to stay away from brawls, a bloodbath like this can really throw you off. Ejiro: What in the world are you talking about?! Annie: Royal’s used to being in control, to dictating the pace and having everything go his way. When someone like that, who’s not used to bleeding, has blood start pooling in his eyes like that, they can panic. Manson knows he’s on fairly even ground with Todd physically, but if he can get the mental advantage, he could take this. Judge: Great point there, as Manson is just causing Royal to GUSH blood… Ejiro: Don’t encourage her. As Royal staggers back off the side of the cage, Manson drives his foot into the champion’s gut. As his opponent doubles over, the wild-eyed challenger grabs him around the neck, lifting him just off the mat before dropping down and driving Todd’s head into the canvas. *THUD!* Judge: Big DDT by Manson! ONE!… . . . . . . . TWO!!… . . . . . . THR… . . . NO! “OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” The crowd lets out a collective sigh as Royal’s shoulder once again comes off the canvas just before Eddy Long’s hand can impact it for a third time. Blood covers Todd’s face as he lays on the mat, and Manson jumps up with a grin on his face. As he leaves Royal and begins to climb the turnbuckles, the crowd comes alive again with a buzz. Annie: Manson heading to the top rope, looking to maybe put away Royal once and for all and claim the title he deserves! Ejiro: And what title is that? Biggest waste of oxygen? Royal may be down right now, but even flat on his back he’s head and shoulders above that idiot. As Manson reaches the top rope and turns around, however, Royal comes to life, lashing out and striking the middle rope with his boot. As the ropes shake, Manson loses his footing, crashing down groin-first across the top turnbuckle. As pain washes across the challenger’s blood-stained face, Royal gets to his feet. Springing off the middle rope, and then off the top, Royal kicks out his right leg and drives his knee across Manson’s temple. Ejiro: SHINING WIZARD~! The crowd begins to boo as Royal pulls himself off the mat and climbs up the turnbuckle after Manson. Reaching the top rope, however, Todd pauses only long enough to slap his opponent across the face before continuing up the cage. Reaching the apex off the cage, Royal pauses to sit on the corner as Manson pulls himself up on the turnbuckle. Leaping off the steel, Todd grabs his opponent by the hair and crashes to the canvas, taking Manson to the mat with a massive bulldog from the top of the cage. Annie: OHHH!! Judge: A Leaping bulldog from the top of the steel cage to Manson from Royal!! Manson’s face just PLOWED into the mat!! ONE!… . . . . . . . TWO!!… . . . . . . THR… . . . . . KICKOUT!! “YYYYEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” Annie: Kickout!! Royal pulled off another huge move, and Manson kicked out AGAIN! He just won’t say die!! Ejiro: Oh he WILL. Maybe not now, but soon. By the grace of Todd, he will say die!! Putting his hands to his head in frustration, Royal recoils in disgust when he sees his palms stained crimson. Calling to Skye at ringside, Royal retrieves the towel again, wiping off his face and hands and lobbing the cloth back to ringside. Judge: Again, the mental aspect of the blood in this match comes into play. That gash on Todd’s forehead is definitely throwing him off his game. Annie: Remember Royal’s debut match, back 6 months ago. Alan Clark, then Bloodshed, was busted open and Todd flipped out. He’s obviously not comfortable in situations like this, and he’s shown it by not capitalizing on Manson. And indeed, when Royal turns back to his opponent, he barely has time to pull his opponent back to his feet before Manson begins firing off knee strikes. Todd catches the leg on one of the strikes and looks for a Dragon Screw, but Manson pulls him in, lunging backwards and hurling Royal over his head with a release belly-to-belly suplex. As Todd lies on the canvas, the blood begins to flow freely out of the cut on his forehead once more. As Manson reaches his fallen opponent, the blood is already streaming into Royal’s glazed over eyes. With a maniacal laugh, Manson peels Royal off the canvas. Whipping him across the ring, the challenger catches Todd coming back and flapjacks his face right into the steel. Judge: Stun Gun into the cage!! Manson’s just unrelenting in his attack on Todd!! Proving the Judge’s observations correct, Manson yanks Royal up off of his knees and grabs him by the wrist. The challenger pulls him in for a short-arm clothesline, but the champion ducks, wrapping around Manson and grabbing the other arm. Quickly jerking back, Todd bridges, planting Manson with a Straightjacket Suplex. Ejiro: Over! Has to be!! ONE!… . . . . . . . TWO!!… . . . . . . . . THR… . . . . . . EEEEE… . . . . . . KICKOUT!! Ejiro: TODD DAMMIT!! Annie: Another HUGE desperation move by Todd Royal, and another HUGE last-second kickout by Manson! Judge: The champion is desperate to put this one away and get out of this match, but Manson keeps hanging in and taking it to Todd. The longer Royal is in a match like this, the lower his chances get!! Releasing the bridge and crawling to his feet, Royal once again calls for the towel to wipe the blood from his face. Todd runs it across his face, but growls as the blood-soaked rag just smears the crimson mask. Tossing the towel to the mat, the world champion charges forward, driving his shoulder into Manson’s gut and planting him against the cage. Stepping back and roaring with rage, Todd steps forward and firing off a super kick. Manson ducks out of the way, however, and Royal’s foot bounces off the mesh, rebounding back into the cables and getting tangled in the top rope. Annie: Superkick misses! That’s the move that almost got him crippled by Aecas, and this time he might not be so lucky!! If Manson can capitalize, he could take the World Title home tonight!! As Royal fights to free his limb, Manson rebounds off the adjacent ropes. Distracted by his predicament, Todd doesn’t notice the charging challenger until it is too late, and doesn’t even have time to raise his hands before being nearly decapitated by a Manson Yakuza kick. “OOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!” Royal snaps to the mat, his body limp, but Manson continues to lay it on. Pulling Todd up to his feet again, Manson grabs the champion around the neck and shoulder. Holding his opponent up, the challenger sweeps his leg backwards, up-ending Royal and diving forward, dropping Todd on his head with an STO. Judge: Beautifully executed STO by Manson!! He’s got Royal right where he wants him right now, so why isn’t he covering him! Annie: He’s climbing the turnbuckles! He’s seen how much punishment Todd Royal can take and still kick out, so he knows he’s going to have to finish him off with something big!! The crowd erupts into cheers as Manson scales the corner, taking each turnbuckle as a step and wiping the blood from his face as he climbs. When he reaches the top rope, however, he grins and points up at the top of the cage. The crowd explodes in cheers, and the challenger nods, continuing his climb. Ejiro: He’s not stopping! He’s going to KILL Todd! Somebody sedate this guy or something!! Reaching the top of the steel structure, Manson stands vertical, 15 feet above the SkyDome field. Raising his arms into the air, he first makes his hands into the Superfly sign, then brings them together, rotating them around each other and popping the crowd again. Annie: No way…he’s not going to…It’s Do or Die time now!! Leaping from the cage, Manson kicks his feet out. Tucking his head and rolling backwards, the challenger uncoils as he barrels toward the mat… Judge: SHOOTING…STAR…PRESS. From the top of the CAGE! As Manson spirals downward, Todd Royal rolls to the left. Just escaping the impact zone, Royal is thrown up off the mat as Manson crashes into the canvas with tremendous impact. Ejiro: YES!! He missed! It’s “Die Time“, baby!! No “Do Time” for Manson!! “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” As the crowd reacts in awe, Manson lies barely conscious on the mat. Royal groans and rolls over, draping his arm across the challenger’s chest as Eddy Long drops down to makes the count. ONE!… . . . . . . TWO!!… . . . . . . . . . THR… . . . . . . EEE….. . . . . . . . THREE!! NO!! Annie: Holy Crap!! Judge: He kicked out!! Manson’s still in this one!! He just fell 15 feet onto his face but he REFUSES to give up on his dream for that title!! Ejiro: MOTHER OF TODD!!! Just STAY DOWN!! A disbelieving Todd Royal pulls his head off of Manson’s chest and looks wearily at the two fingers being held up by Eddy Long. Pulling himself up to his feet, Royal spits a pool of saliva and blood onto the mat and pulls down his straps, calling for the end of the match. As Manson crawls to his knees, Royal steps behind him. Grasping both of the challenger’s arms, Todd ties Manson in a full nelson. Manson struggles to escape as he climbs to his feet, but Todd falls backwards, planting him head-first on the mat and bridging for a cover. Ejiro: TODD DAMN!!! No one gets up from THAT move!! ONE!… . . . . . . . . TWO!!… . . . . . . THR… . . . . . . . . . EEE… . . . . . . . . THREE!! *DING* *DING* *DING* “BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Funyon: Ladies and Gentlemen…here is your winner…and STILLLL SJL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT WRESTLING CHAMPION….TODD ROYAL!!! As “Livewire” blasts through the SkyDome again, Megan forces Ordonez and Hall to unlock the door. Rushing into the ring, she cradles Todd and hands him the belt, shooing away Long when he attempts to raise Royal’s hand in victory. The crowd continues to boo as Todd crawls from the cage, crumpling to the mat and requiring Skye to help him to the back. Ejiro: Good Todd Almighty! The Reign of Todd continues here tonight!! Annie: Manson certainly proved his worth again here tonight, however. He took Todd to the limit and almost had him pinned several times. He also took several huge moves from Royal and continued to fight back, finally just succumbing to the Todd Damn. Ejiro: Stop talking about Manson. This is Royal’s night, Todd Damnit! The SkyDome crowd erupts, however, as Manson refuses the help of the officials and gets to his feet on his own power. Pointing at the massive crowd, Manson signals towards his waist, promising his day with the gold will come. As the crowd rocks the Dome, we go to Judge for the last word. Judge: What a match, and what a night! Todd Royal retains the World title in a bloody world title match to cap off an exciting and eventful night of Metal. Tune in next time, for more great SJL action! Until then, for Annie and Ejiro, I’m Judge Mental, and we’re OUT!

    SJL Metal - 12/3/03

SJL METAL CARD: Drew Kelk Appreciation Night! Drew Date: Tuesday, December 2, @ 9 PM EST Venue: The Sky Dome in Toronto, Ontario… CANADA! Tonight, the SJL is going to be in the home province of one of its favourite sons, the Canadian Intelligence Agent! CIA will be in attendance, as will the General with his beaver, Pierre. However, I have a feeling the press won’t be able to interview CIA and the General at the same time… odd, that. Is this a stupid concept show? Yes. Yes it is. OPENING CONTEST “Fruity” Frankie Deed vs. David Cross Description: These two are the newest SJL signees. Will they be able to perform as expected? Will they be turned off by the stupid theme card? Will Frankie be able to keep it in his pants? Only time will tell. Rules: Standard match. All normal DQ and countout rules apply. GOOD OLD FASHIONED THREE-WAY RASSLIN’ MATCH “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins vs. “Live~Wire” Sean Casey vs. Santa Claus Description: Spike fell on some hard times before the last show and was unable to put forth his best effort. Commissioner Raynor isn’t happy with that, regardless of how good the reason might be. CIA is a little surprised that Spike is still in the JL. Will this crafty vet be able to beat the rookie and the fat man? Only time will tell. Rules: First pin or submission wins. All normal DQ and countout rules apply. If someone is counted out or disqualified, he is eliminated and leaves the ring area and the other two continue wrestling. Santa Claus will post or PM his stats very soon. EUROPEAN TITLE SUBMISSION MATCH Alan Clark, Disney-Sponsored Wrestler, vs. Dominic Korgath Description: DK has been fighting his way through the ranks. Though he hasn’t met with great success, Commissioner Raynor sees fit to reward him with a shot at Alan Clark’s European Title, but at a significant disadvantage for his style (mainly because CIA was an avid fan of the North American submission style and will greatly enjoy this encounter). Will DK win the title, only to have to defend against the likes of Sean Casey, David Cross and Frankie Deed? Only time will tell. Rules: The first wrestler to make his opponent submit will be declared the winner and European Champion. All normal DQ and countout rules apply – this is not an I Quit match. MYSTERY STIP MATCH Aecas vs. Landon “La Cucaracha” Maddix Description: These two were both extremely pissed off with the concept of fighting in a swimming pool, and so Commissioner Raynor will be selecting a new stipulation for them shortly before the show. Will it be a Mall Brawl? Subway Chaos? Hell In A Pool Anyway? Something actually reasonable? Only time will tell. Rules: God only knows. MAIN EVENT: WORLD TITLE CAGE MATCH Todd Royal © vs. Manson Description: Another famous match of CIA’s was the cage match in which he defeated Mak Francis to win his second SJL World Championship. Thor was in there as well, as a warm body or something. Now, Todd Royal has to make his first defense against the deadly Manson in the same type of match. Does Todd need this, with Alan Clark breathing down his neck? Only time will tell. Rules: There is a cage surrounding the ring that is exactly the size you need it to be for spots and so forth. The door will be chained shut when both competitors have entered. You can win by pinning your opponent or making him submit. Technically, yes, this means you can climb out of the cage, get a weapon and climb back in, but don’t be that guy. Don’t be that guy.

    SJL Metal - 12/3/03

“DREW KELK! DREW KELK! DREW KELK!” The chants from the ruckus Toronto crowd welcome back viewers to the Sky Dome as everyone awaits the next matchup. “Welcome back to SJL Metal, everyone…as you can tell by the crowd it is STILL Drew Kelk Appreciation Night!” Judge does the honors of mentioning Drew for what could be the 112th time this show. “That’s right, Judge…and next up we have a European Title Submission Match…where the new champion Alan Clark puts the title on the line in his first defense against the monster Dominic Korgath!” Annie does her duty…and Ejiro follows up. “Submission match? Alan Clark is going to come in here and make Dominic tap out by playing ‘it’s a small world’ over and over…right?” “Well you know, Ejiro…Alan has gotten most of his wins via submission since returning only a few shows ago…in fact…he’s undefeated since his return…and has never lost a match against Dominic…he has to be feeling cocky right now” Judge comments. “Well hopefully by the grace of Todd, Alan will get his first loss back TONIGHT!” Ejiro jumps in just as… You sit alone in lightless chambers, all the love you had is gone No one there to catch your fall, you never felt so alone Blackened thoughts in lonely ruins, lifeless eyes an empty gaze Death is but a promise now, life is just an empty phrase!" The opening lines of Grave Digger's "Demon's Day" signal the arrival of the challenger, as Dominic Korgath steps through the curtain and marches down to the ring, a look of determination on his face as he ignores the jeers around him. In the ring, Funyon makes the announcement… “Ladies and Gentlemen…the following match is a Submission Match…and is for the SJL European Championship! Making his way down the aisle…hailing from the Plains…of…Azeroth… he is the founder of the Decay… DOMINIC KOOOOORRRRRRGGGGAAAAATTTTTHHHH~!” The crowds boos get louder as Korgath climbs the ring steps and through the ropes. He looks toward the curtain and awaits the arrival of the champion. Suddenly the lights drop out and that familiar voice echoes throughout the arena… "Please Stand Clear of the Ring. Por favor Soporte Claro Del Anillo." "For the safety and comfort of others...no smoking please. Para la seguridad y la comodidad de otras... el ningún fumar por favor" "The SJL and the Walt Disney Company are proud to present…your European Champion…” Alan Clark’s music begins to play…but instead of his normal entrance theme…something else brings smiles to some and tears to others…especially Ejiro… “I was right!” Ejiro moans as an all-European version of “it’s a small world” begins to play. A spotlight shines down at the entranceway to see Alan standing still…yet rotating in a very “small world”-like manner as he holds the European title high above his head. After a quick rotation, Alan breaks the pose and heads to the ring, high-fiving fans and signing along to the music. Funyon is befuddled, but makes the announcement. “And his opponent…representing Disneyland Paris…he is the SJL European Champion……. ALAN CLAAAAAAAAARRRRRKKKKKK~!” Alan smiles at the mention of his name as he climbs the steps and turns around to the face the crowd, showing off his title before climbing through the ropes and into the ring. Alan hands his belt over to referee Sexton Hardcastle , who folds the straps and turns, showing it to Korgath, who slyly shows a smile, before he turns and shows it back to Alan, who smiles back. Hardcastle then raises the belt high above his own head, to make sure that the crowd really does understand it’s a title match, before handing it over to a ringside attendent. Without much delay, Hardcastle calls for the bell to be rung and the match to get underway… *DING DING DING* Alan wastes no time in rushing towards the big man, but Korgath seems more prepared than usual and Alan eats a clothesline in the opening seconds of the match. Alan tries to get back to his feet, only for Korgath to wrap his arm around the head of Alan and lift him into the air before falling back with a brainbuster! “Korgath seemingly draws first blood in this match…as the champ was dropped right on his skull there!” Judge mentions as Korgath instinctively goes for a pin cover, but Hardcastle waves him off. Korgath looks around for a moment in confusion before pulling Alan back off the mat. Without hesitation Dominic whips Clark toward the ropes, and as Alan comes back Korgath catches him around the waist and lifts him into the air, spinning and bringing Alan down hard right on the small of his back with a hard sidewalk slam. “Alan is taking a beating in the early moments…and if this keeps up we could very well see a new champ crowned!” Annie tries to stay unbiased as Korgath returns to the attack, lifting Clark off the mat before giving him a hard body slam back down, putting more pain on the back of Alan before falling and driving his elbow across the back as well. Korgath seems in control as he goes to the outside and grabs a folding chair and tries to bring it in the ring. Sexton sees the big man coming and gets in his way. “What is Dominic doing…that can get him disqualified…this isn’t an I Quit Match!” Annie watches as Sexton pulls the chair from Dominic’s hands and tosses it off to the side. Korgath huffs a bit and walks around the side of the ring toward the steps…. *CRACK* “Alan Clark just came out of NOWHERE with a hard kick to the Big Demon’s face!” Judge almost screams. “Where did he come from?!” Ejiro asks as a replay shows Alan roll out of the ring on the opposite side during Korgath’s fight with Hardcastle, and as Korgath leaves the fight behind Alan rushes up and springs off the ring steps, catching the Decay Founder in the face with a beautifully placed kick. “That was uncalled for!” Ejiro continues, “He is a cheater!” “Now Ejiro…Korgath was going to use that chair…” Annie tries to be the voice of reason, and fails as Ejiro quips… “So…” Hardcastle has started a count now, as Alan has pulled the dazed Korgath off the mat and whips him toward the ring post… …KORGATH REVERSES! …ALAN REVERSES BACK! *TWANG…THUD* “Korgath thought he had one-upped the champ there…but instead he eats ring post!” Judge comments as Dominic drops to the mat. Alan sees Sexton in mid-count as he pulls Korgath off the mat and tosses him in the ring. Alan slides in after and gets to his feet as Korgath lays on his stomach and tries to regroup. Alan takes a rush toward his challenger and jumps into the air, falling down and driving his knee right into the small of Korgath’s back. “Both men seem to be aiming for the lower back of the other man…but I don’t think Korgath can be placed in that EPSOT submission maneuver.” Annie watches on as Alan repeats the knee drop, sending more pain through the back of Korgath. “I know many submission moves.” Ejiro states out of the blue. “We know…you’ve covered that…” Annie quips back as Alan lifts Korgath off the mat and tries for another irish whip…but Korgath reverses the whip and catches the champion completely off guard as he scoops him up and drops him down back-first across his knee… “Korgath reverses the whip with a nice backbreaker and both these men have to be feeling the pain that this match was meant to inflict…” Judge’s banter is suddenly cut off by Ejiro… “Yeah…Raynor knew exactly what he was doing when he booked this…Clark does not stand a chance against Korgath’s evil Torture Rack!” Back in the ring, Korgath pulls Alan back off the ground and sends him into the ropes with an irish whip of his own, and as Clark comes back across Korgath aims to take his head off with a vicious clothesline… ALAN DUCKS! The champion barely gets under the large forearm of Korgath and rushes the ropes, as he comes back Korgath turns and Alan goes toward the midsection with a clothesline of his own, causing the big man to stumble. The champion bounces off the ropes once more and leaps into the air, catching Korgath’s head as he comes down and drives the challenger into the mat with a bulldog. Before Korgath can stand, Alan is back to his feet and is heading for the ropes once more. Clark jumps up and springs off the second rope, flipping backwards through the air and crashing down in the center of Korgath’s back, causing him to moan slightly in pain… “Beautiful asai moonsault there…and Korgath looks to be hurt!” Annie watches contently as Alan signals to the crowd that something big is coming. Alan pulls Korgath’s feet up and crosses them over… “Is he going for the EPSOT? NOW?!” Judge almost fumbles his words as Alan tries to get the big man in position. Alan puts his feet on Korgath’s arms and leans down… “Oh man…if he gets this on it could very well be over…” Annie comments as Alan tries to hook his hands around the head of the Decay founder, but at the last moment Korgath gets his right arm free from under the weight of the cruiser and pushes up on Alan’s head, sending him rolling backwards and breaking up the hold! “Korgath does NOT want to be the next SJLer to go to EPSOT!” Ejiro laughs to himself as Korgath gets to his feet, seemingly gaining a new bit of endurance as Alan gets back up as well. Without warning, Korgath sends a boot into Alan’s midsection and hooks in a standing headscissors. “Uh oh…” is all Annie can say as Korgath brings his thumb to his throat and brings it across slowly…a sign of execution. Korgath lifts Clark into the air and stalls for a moment…holding Alan’s body in the air. The champion tries to fight back but before he can get any good punches off on the big man he is being driven back-first into the mat! “BIG POWERBOMB ON THE CHAMPION!” Judge yells out as Alan hits the canvas with a violent thud. Korgath turns and raises his hands in victory, causing boos to echo through the crowd and more chanting for the cheery superstar that lay hurt in the center of the ring. “ALAN! ALAN! ALAN!” Korgath moves in for the kill, but Sexton breaks it up and tries to check on Alan, who has only just begun to move… …but Alan shoves Hardcastle away! “What the…that boy is crazy…” Ejiro quips. “He does not want any help to win this match…” Annie suggests… “Win? He’ll be lucky to SURVIVE this match…” Ejiro finishes as Korgath moves in and brings his knee into the face of the champion, sending Alan flipping and rolling toward the ropes. Alan lays there for a moment before trying to get back up, and Sexton again keeps Korgath away from the champion as he is technically in the ropes. “Get em Korgath! Push that stupid ref out of the way!” Ejiro’s fighting spirit seems rekindled as Dominic stands back, seeming poised and ready to attack. Alan finally gets back to his feet, and Korgath wastes no time, hooking his arms around the lower back of the champion and pulling him away from the ropes. Alan tries to fight out but Korgath lifts him into the air, pulling Alan in to a violently demonic bearhug. “Korgath Krusher! And Alan’s back has taken a beating this match! Can he take much more!” Annie begins to question the champ as Alan tries to club on the back of Korgath…to no effect. The Big Demon tries to earn his nickname as he squeezes the champ even harder, causing Alan to audibly moan in pain. “The cheerfulness and the life is slowly fading from Alan Clark right now!” Judge comments as Alan slowly droops down, and his arms fall limp. Sexton is there and checking for a submission, but Alan does not even make a sound… “Alan might have just passed out…this match could be over!” Annie watches as Sexton holds Alan’s right arm high… IT DROPS! Sexton signals the drop and raises his hand for a second time… IT DROPS AGAIN! Korgath wrenches on Alan’s body once more as Sexton raises the champs arm for the third and final time as the crowd chants for Clark… “ALAN! ALAN! ALAN!” IT DROPS~! NOOOOO!!! Alan’s arm freezes in mid-drop and stays steady. Korgath wrenches in on the Krusher once more before throwing his body to one side and slamming Alan down right on his back. “Dominic Korgath almost had that European Title in his grasp…and that damn Alan Clark escaped at the last possible second.” Ejiro looks depressed at the action in the ring. A now seriously pissed off Dominic Korgath pulls Alan off the mat and whips him toward the corner hard, but Alan’s ring presence takes over as he leaps into the air and hits the top turnbuckle before bouncing off and rotating in the air…trying for a high cross body… …and Korgath catches Alan Clark in mid-air! “Alan though he could catch the big man off guard…but instead he just got caught himself!” Ejiro chuckles as Korgath holds Alan in the air and rolls backwards, tossing Alan over his head with a fallaway slam…putting Alan right on the square of his back. Alan slowly gets to his feet, but behind him Korgath seems to be warming up for something big. Alan makes his way up and turns around still groggy from the slam, and walks right into the large hand of the Demon. Dominic lifts Clark high into the air by the throat… …poses for a second for the crowd… *THUD* “The champion just got drilled into the mat with that chokeslam!” Annie screams as Korgath plays to the crowd after the slam, causing boos to emanate from around the building. Dominic turns back just as Alan makes the ropes and tries to get back to his feet. Just as he gets back to a vertical base, Korgath makes his move and begins to lift Alan up onto his shoulders. “Korgath is going for the Rack!” Ejiro yells as Korgath tries to get the champion in position, but Alan has his hands wrapped around the top rope and is not letting go. “Alan is holding those ropes like his life is on the line!” Judge comments as Alan makes one last tug and pulls out of Korgath’s grasp, falling over the top rope and landing on the apron on his feet. Korgath turns to catch Alan, but is met with a stiff chop that causes Korgath to stumble back, Alan waits for Korgath to rush in and leans down, going through the ropes with a shoulder block. Korgath doubles over in pain and Alan hooks in a facelock over the top rope. Sexton tries to get Clark to break the hold, but Alan simply jumps off the apron…causing Korgath’s throat to fall across the top rope! “Korgath just got all choked up on the top rope!” Annie says as Korgath bounces back off the ropes and falls to the mat, holding his throat in pain. Alan climbs back up onto the apron and pumps his fist in the air before leaping up and springing off the top rope, flying through the air and bringing his leg right across the throat of Korgath. “Even with his hand there…that has to hurt!” Annie continues as Alan gets back to his feet and sees Korgath is a bit too preoccupied with his throat. Alan moves toward Dominic’s feet and picks them up, crossing the legs in his hands and trying to roll Korgath over… “Clark is going for the Cloverleaf…but I don’t think he can get Korgath over…” Judge mentions as Alan tries to roll Korgath over, but is having trouble. Alan drives his knee into the back of Korgath, causing him to moan out in pain and giving Alan enough time to roll Korgath onto his stomach and fully hook in the Cloverleaf! “Alan has it locked in!” Annie yells as Korgath tries to make his way to the ropes, but Alan quickly leaps into the air and drops all of his weight on Korgath’s back, causing him to moan out once more… “If Korgath taps out…this match is over…and Alan’s undefeated streak continues!” Judge comments as Korgath tries again to make the ropes, only for Alan to repeat the jump onto his back. The crowd is behind Alan now…and the chants are filling up the arena… “TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP!” …Korgath is trying for the ropes again… …closer…. …closer…. …inches away…. …THE CHAMP PULLS HIM BACK! “Dominic hadn’t gotten the ropes there! This is legal!” Annie tries to justify it, but Ejiro sees fault. “That is still not fair…Korgath was so close to breaking the hold!” “Like you’d never do something like that, right Jir?” “But I’m different!” “Yeah…you are different…I’ll give you that much” Annie chuckles as Korgath again tries to make the ropes… *THUD* Alan drops his weight into Korgath again…and Korgath stays down on the mat…not moving. “Korgath might have passed out from pain!” Judge yells into his headset as the ref lifts Korgath’s hand into the air… …ONE…. “Two more drops.…” …TWO… “One more and Clark keeps that title!” …THREE!! “KORGATH IS OUT AND THIS MATCH IS OVER!” Annie yells as Clark falls off of Korgath. Sexton looks down at Korgath as he signals for the bell. Alan slides out of the ring and grabs his European title as Funyon makes the match official. “Ladies and Gentlemen…your winner…and STILL SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPION…. ALAN CLARRRRRRRRRRKKKKKK~!” The crowd goes crazy as “When You Wish Upon A Star” begins to play, cheering up Ejiro slightly as he doesn’t have to hear ‘it’s a small world’ again. “He won again…Todd damn it…” Ejiro mumbles to himself as Alan holds his belt high in the air and heads toward the back. “Alan Clark has been unstoppable since returning a few shows ago and he looks to have a huge head of steam heading into the holidays!” Annie comments as Metal goes to commercial, the cameras fading out on Sexton Hardcastle trying to revive Dominic Korgath and the Kelk chants resume throughout the arena. “DREW KELK! DREW KELK! DREW KELK!”

    SJL Metal - 12/3/03

The fade in, the lights, and the ACTION~ brings us back to SJL Metal, the fans roaring sa we do a brief swirl of the crowd before fading to a shot of the Judge, William Hearford, Ejiro Fasaki and Annie ‘Ichiban’ Onita, the three of them smiling and welcoming us to yet another dazzling episode of SJL action! “Ladies and gentlemen,” starts the Judge, “WELCOME back to SJL Metal, and if you’re just tuning in you missed an exceptional opener between “Fruity” Frankie Deed and David Cross.” Ejiro shivers a bit, obviously remembering the Fruity one. “That Deed character makes me want to puke in my Fasaki flakes.” Annie grins and proceeds with the burn. “I’m sure your urge matches my urge to scream last night as I watched Stryke pin your bitch ass.” Ejiro’s face turns red and he looks to leap up, but Judge puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “Fear not, Ejiro, as you are still Tag champion. Anyway, coming up next we have a three-way, and I believe Funyon is ready for the introductions. Funyon?” We cut to a shot of the ring, where Funyon stands, tonight wearing a purple shirt underneath his black blazer. He smiles and speaks. “Thank you, Judge. Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a triple threat match, scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first…” “Marshmallow World” by Dean Martin starts to play over the speakers, the crowd standing up to get a good shot of the entrance ramp, as they have never heard this music before. Red and green confetti begins to fall from the rafters as a man in a bright red Santa Claus suit comes out, large stomach and all! He hits the ring and walks up the steps, referee Jefferson Harding holding the ropes open for him. Santa Claus steps through, thanking Harding for holding the ropes open by handing him a candy cane! The crowd pops as Santa poses mid-ring, stroking his beard as Funyon makes his introduction! “Weighing in at two-hundred and forty-nine pounds, he hails from the North Pole, say hello to SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTA CLAUS!” The crowd erupts, partially out of amusement and partially out of childlike markdom. Santa holds up a single white-gloved hand, thanking them as he turns to the entrance ramp, waiting for his first opponent. “Of all the people Raynor can hire, he hires Santa Claus?” Ejiro looks at the ring incredulously. “Obviously, he isn’t as smart as Judge and I thought.” Judge nods, mumbling, “This is a disgrace to our sport.” Annie, meanwhile, is nearly orgasming in excitement. “SANTA CLAUS! HERE TONIGHT TO RID THE WORLD OF SEAN CASEY AND SPIKE JENKINS! I LOVE YOU!” Santa waves a white-gloved hand at Ms. Onita, who waves back like a little girl. Meanwhile, the lights dim out as the opening chords of "This Is The New Shit" by Marilyn Manson screech through the arena, the fans beginning to boo as the bass chords shake the ground underneath them. Sean Casey steps out and into a single spotlight, under which all that can be seen are blue tights and the dim shadow of his face covered by a black towel. He stalks down to the ring, a man on a mission, and quickly climbs into the ring and stands in the center, head lowered. In one quick motion he grabs the towel off his head and tosses it into the crowd. Fans can be seen wrestling for it in the foreground as he pulls his shirt off in another quick display, tossing it to the outside of the ring. He raises his arms to the side in a Jesus Christ pose as the music begins to fade away. “And his opponent, weighing in at two-hundred and twenty-seven pounds, he hails from CAAAL-ga-ry, Alberta, Canada, he is Livewire because he is SEEEEEEEEEEEEAN CAAAAAAAAY-SEEEEEEY!” “You’ll notice,” Annie remarks, “that Natasha is not with Sean Casey tonight.” “I’m sure that the only person who noticed was you, Annie,” cracks Ejiro, and Judge shoots him a look. Making a slick cover-up, Ejiro adds, “And every warm-blooded male in the audience, too.” The crowd continues to boo Casey, but their boos turn to cheers as the lights dim down, while a multitude of light blue lights begin flashing from the entrance stage, as "Not Today" by Hotwire starts up. After a few seconds, "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins walks out from the backstage area and stops at the entrance ramp, the hood of his jacket covering his head, while he stares at the ground, allowing the crowd time to cheer. White pyro explodes from both sides of Spike, and Jenkins starts hopping around, getting warmed up. Spike makes his way through the pyro, and starts his journey to the ring. Spike makes his way to the ring, and climbs up onto the ring apron, and steeping through the ring ropes into the ring, and the second he steps into the ring, Spike pulls back the hood over his head, and holds his arms out, doing a little spin. Spike pulls the jacket off and tosses it ringside, and waits in his corner for the match to begin. “And finally, weighing in at two-hundred and TWENTY-five pounds, he hails from HOLLLLLLLY-WOOD, California, Hollywood’s finest… SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN-KINS!” The crowd pops as Jefferson Harding calls for the bell, signaling the start of the match! *DING DING DING* Santa backs away, into a corner, taking off his bright red hat to reveal a long, platinum mess of hair, tied back into a ponytail. The big man rolls up his sleeves, obviously looking to get to work – but as though he’s a joke Jenkins and Casey ignore him, charging at each other and locking up! The heelish Casey grabs the initial upper hand, dancing to the side of Jenkins and putting him into an arm wringer, but Jenkins does the ever-fashionable forward roll, rolling past Casey and to his side, reversing Casey’s arm wringer into one of his own! “Early technical wrestling from the two men,” calls Judge, “keeping the joke of a wrestler out of the action!” Jenkins lets loose a smile as he pulls Casey towards him, lifting the man called Livewire up up and OVER with an armdrag! The crowd pops as Casey slides two feet upon impact, but quickly gets back to his feet, charging Jenkins once more! Spike sidesteps, causing Casey to go flying back… and right into a meaty lariat from Santa Claus! The crowd roars as Casey hits the mat hard, his head snapping back, possibly feeling the effects of whiplash! Jenkins gawks at Santa as he raises one white-gloved hand into the air, waving to the raucous fans! “LARIAT FROM SANTA!” Annie squeals. “That’s the type of gift that stings for weeks!” “Actually,” remarks Ejiro, flipping through his notes, “I believe the gift that stings for weeks is a Crossface Halo, done onto the knee.” Jenkins continues staring at Santa, almost entranced by the sight of the jolly old man as he walks to Casey, lifting him to his feet while never taking his eyes off of Claus. Jenkins blindly grabs Casey’s arm, whipping him into the ropes, still fixated on St. Nicholas as Casey hits the ropes, ricocheting back and hitting Jenkins square in the face with an elbow smash that sends Jenkins to the mat! The crowd lets their hatred of Casey be heard, and Casey angrily flips off the fans. Santa takes exception, stepping forward and wordlessly confronting Casey, who in an act of defiance lifts up a middle finger in his face! “CAY – SEE SUCKS! CAY – SEE SUCKS!” “These fans are showing absolutely NO respect for Livewire Sean Casey,” Ejiro says indignantly. “Instead, the foolish sheep are showing respect for a complete joke,” grumbles Judge. “Obviously, their opinion means jack, right Edge?” Santa looks at Casey, a bit shocked, but he regains his composure, sticking a stern finger in Casey’s face. “You don’t want me to put you on the naughty list, do you?” The crowd pops huge as Casey’s eyes bulge, unsure of what to do. Going on instinct alone, Sean plants his two hands in Santa’s stomach, shoving him back and into the turnbuckle. The catches huge heat from the fans, as Santa hits the turnbuckle… but he bounces out, gaining momentum as he mows Casey down with a giant lariat! The crowd roars as Casey hits the mat once more, and Santa Claus hits the mat, hooking Casey’s leg and looking for the pin! “ONE!” “TWO!” “NO!” Casey gets the shoulder up, and Santa, now red-faced, gets to his feet, grabbing Casey by his jet black ponytail and lifting him to his feet as well. “Santa with yet ANOTHER huge lariat,” Judge says, “making you wonder if he’s had any prior training!” “This is like a Christmas wish come true for a little girl!” Annie cries out. “And yet, your sexuality makes it ever so obvious,” Ejiro shoots back snidely, “that you’re anything but a little girl.” Santa grabs Casey by the arm, whipping him into the ropes with all of his might. Casey hits them, coming back with a huge head of steam at Santa and looking to take Claus out with some sort of power move – but Santa gets up his huge black boot, and Casey’s head smashes RIGHT into it! *CRACK!* “OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!” The fans’ oohing reflects Casey’s mood, as he grabs his face on the mat, obviously in immense pain. Santa, meanwhile, looks to the turnbuckle, then looks at the crowd, raising one white-gloved fist and pointing to the air. “SANTA CLAUS WANTS TO GET HIGH!” Annie screams. “Claus obviously wants to finish this one early,” Judge says, trying to dissect Santa’s strategy, “and he’s looking to go to the top rope to do it!” “That fat bastard goes up top more than I do,” mutters Ejiro. Santa Claus stalks over to the ropes, mounting the bottom one… and then the middle one… and finally, he reaches the top, turning around to face the middle of the ring, where Sean Casey lay! Santa holds up one fist, rolling up his sleeve and exposing his hairy elbow! “IT’S LIKE WRESTLEMANIA FOUR ALL OVER AGAIN!” Annie yells out. “For God’s sake, woman, shut up!” Santa points to his elbow, and the crowd goes wild, DYING to see the elbow drop… but they are denied! Hollywood Spike Jenkins pulls down the top rope, eliciting him a good deal of heel heat as Santa falls down off the turnbuckle, crotching himself on the top rope! *CHING!* Santa grabs his genitals (hey, there is a Mrs. Claus to think about) in pain, as Hollywood goes to the second rope, wrapping his arm around Santa’s neck. Jenkins grabs Santa by his huge black belt, lifting Claus up into suplex position and taking him over, falling back and superplexing Santa… RIGHT ONTO SEAN CASEY! Casey’s upper body shoots up, the wind knocked out of him, but he’s promptly kicked in the face by Jenkins! Referee Harding goes down to count the fall for Santa, but Spike kicks Claus in the head, knocking the jolly old man off of Livewire! Grinning, Hollywood steals the pinfall, hitting the mat and making the cover on Casey himself! “ONE!” “TWO!” “THR – NO!” Casey kicks out this time, and Hollywood bangs his hand on the mat, obviously a bit frustrated, but he regains his composure quickly, getting to his feet and grabbing Casey, lifting him to his feet. “Has anybody even hit a wrestling move on Santa yet?” Judge asks no one in particular. “Not to my knowledge,” Ejiro remarks. “I think they all want full stockings.” “It’s a bit late in your case,” Annie shoots back with a smirk. Ejiro, however, gives this the ol’ NO POBO. “Don’t you realize that Christ, and Santa by default, HATES homosexuality?” “…shut up.” Hollywood grabs Casey by the arm, whipping into the turnbuckle and catching a fair number of boos for it. Obviously upset at Santa stealing his thunder, Jenkins plants a huge stomp in Santa’s midsection, eliciting even more boos! Claus cannot retaliate, merely clutch his ribs in pain, and a sneering Spike turns his attention to Casey, charging the man known as Livewire in the turnbuckle and catching him with an avalanche! “It looks like Jenkins has finally given up trying to be the Rock,” says Judge with a smile. “Yeah,” sneers Ejiro. “Now he wants to be Tom Flesher.” The rebound causes Spike to bounce off of Casey, backing up a few feet. Casey, too, begins to stumble out, but Jenkins shoves him back into the corner. Backing up, Jenkins smiles to the crowd, who eat up the crowd-pleasing antics by the chain smoker. Jenkins refocuses, however, charging at Casey! Mid-charge he flips forward, pulling out a sweet handspring to elicit some love from the ladies, and as he flips forward to complete the handspring he dropkicks Casey in the face! The crowd erupts, and Judge has to shout “Tidal Wave!” over them! Casey falls out of the corner, and quickly Hollywood scampers on top of Casey, looking for three! “ONE!” “TWO!” “THRE – NO!” The pin is broken up by Santa Claus and his huge black boots, stomping down hard on the back of Hollywood! The crowd roars at Santa paying Hollywood back for earlier, and the big man with the white hair grabs Jenkins by the back of the neck, lifting him to his feet. “And Santa Claus is retaking the offensive,” Annie says, halfheartedly marking out. “What’s the matter, Annie?” Ejiro says, tenderly. “It’s just… I always loved Santa… and you said he hated me.” “I’m sorry, dear… I loved Santa too… until he gave my sister a Sega Genesis and only gave me a tongue depressor…” Annie’s eyes suddenly light up. “Well, he may hate homosexuals, but he hates you more, so HA!” Judge just smiles, and in true Jason Lee fashion, delivers the classic line. “And that, my friends, is a shared moment.” Santa grabs Jenkins by the arm, whipping him hard into the ropes. Spike hits them hard as Santa bends over, obviously looking for the back body drop – but Jenkins sees this, and pauses, kicking Santa square in the jaw! Claus pops up, standing upright, and Jenkins follows it up with a sweet kick to the forehead that sends Santa reeling! Jenkins, feeling the momentum rush through his veins, closes in on Santa, catching him in the face with yet another sweet kick that sends Santa into the ropes! Claus hits them, ricocheting back at Jenkins… *CRACK!* AND RIGHT INTO A SUPERKICK! “THE LAST DANCE!” cries out Ejiro. Then, thinking the better of it, “Screw that, Spike sucks.” “I concur,” Annie says with a smile. “Spike sucks more than you two put together.” “And as I third the motion,” Judge cracks, “it’s true that three out of three commentators agree! Spike Jenkins sucks balls.” Wiping cum… oh, sweat… off of his face, Jenkins hits the mat, looking to score the pin on the downed Santa Claus! “ONE!” “TWO!” “THREE – NO!” The pin is AGAIN broken up, this time by “Live~Wire” Sean Casey, who is obviously a bit peeved that the other two men have actually gotten offence in the match, while he hasn’t. Jenkins grabs his back in pain, and Casey grabs him by the hair, lifting him to his feet. Angry, Casey grabs Jenkins by the arm, whipping him into the ropes and catching him on the way back with a jumping side kick, sending Jenkins to the mat! “Jumping side kick from Casey,” remarks Judge blandly. “Somehow, the match loses appeal when Jenkins isn’t on the receiving end of serious violence,” cracks Ejiro. “Or when Santa isn’t doing anything,” adds Annie. Jenkins gets to his feet, rubbing his jaw and staring at Casey, a new face to the JL veteran. Racking his brain, Jenkins tries to think of a strategy to employ against Casey – but he isn’t quick enough, as Sean wraps his arms around Jenkins’ waist and lifts high, HIGH into the air, throwing Jenkins over his head with a SICK belly-to-belly! Jenkins’ head smashes into the mat at a violent angle, and he rolls over onto his back, grabbing his head in pain. “And once again, Jenkins is in the familiar position of seeing lights,” says Judge. “I think Spike should just quit,” Annie remarks snidely. “When you’re getting verbally owned by Judge of all people, you know it’s time to just give up.” Casey, on a roll now, makes the classic ‘worked-into-a-frenzy’ pose, and the crowd’s response is less-than-warm. Casey, seeing that Hollywood appears to be the more refreshed of the two, grabs Jenkins by the hair and lifts him to his feet. A bit peeved, Sean whips Spike into the ropes… or rather, attempts to, as Jenkins reverses the momentum! Casey hits the ropes, and Spike looks for the leg lariat on Casey – but Sean slides underneath it, chopping Jenkins’ leg out from underneath him! “Smart strategy from Casey, attacking the vulnerable body part!” Judge crows. Annie, however, is less than pleased. “If this leads to another ten minutes of leg work, it’s going to look like I’m on my (expletive)ing period.” Hollywood topples to the mat, his head bouncing off, and he grabs it once more in pain. Casey is obviously not through with his slightly lighter adversary, but instead of going on the offensive Sean goes to the top rope, poised to strike as soon as Hollywood gets to his feet. Claus, in the corner, is just beginning to recover from the effects of the superkick, as Jenkins gets to his feet. Casey leaps off the top rope, his legs outstretched, obviously looking to rana Jenkins… But Spike holds onto the top rope! The crowd erupts as Jenkins grabs tight to the top rope as Casey swings his body around – but to no avail! Casey is left with his legs hanging onto Jenkins’ already-pained neck, but Spike manages to fight through the pain, reaching forward and lifting Casey up and into powerbomb position! “THE SPOTLIGHT’S ON ME, BABY!” The crowd ROARS, knowing exactly what Hollywood means! “It looks like Jenkins is looking for the Spotlight!” Judge cries out. “This move WILL end the match, if he hits it here,” Annie says, bated breath at the thought of the Spotlight. Jenkins steadies himself, planting his hands underneath Casey’s quadriceps and lifting up with all of his might, pushing Casey into the air! Quickly, Jenkins steps forward, catching Casey’s neck on his shoulder as he falls down and sitting out himself, driving Casey into the mat with a modified neckbreaker – which Hollywood likes to call… “THE SPOTLIGHT!” Annie cries out. Indeed, it is, and as Hollywood bounces back up to his feet, grabbing his knees, Claus strikes, rushing forward and catching Jenkins in the stomach with his huge boot! The crowd roars as Jenkins doubles over, and Claus sticks Jenkins’ head between his legs, putting Spike into a standing headscissors! “I’ve heard that he does this move!” Judge calls out. “And he calls it the Fruit Cake Clash!” There’s a pause in the broadcast booth, and then Ejiro lets out an obnoxious “How gay!” Santa reaches forward, grabbing Hollywood around the waist and lifting him up into piledriver position, leaving the head untucked. The crowd roars out, having seen the move before in the SWF and loving it again as Santa leaps forward, landing on his knees and driving Jenkins’ head into the mat with what TNA fans dubbed Styles Clash ’03, and what the newest SJL Superstar calls the Fruit Cake Clash! “FRUIT CAKE CLASH!” screams Annie, her markdom for Santa apparently shielding her from how stupid-sounding the name is. “This match HAS to be over!” Indeed, Santa reaches forward, draping one arm over Hollywood’s fallen body and using the other one to hook Jenkins’ leg! Harding hits the mat, looking to make the count that seals Jenkins’ fate! “OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!” “TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Casey begins to stir, and he dashes towards Santa, looking to break up the pin… “THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” …but his elbow drop into Santa’s back is just a SECOND too late! Harding pops to his feet, calling for the bell! *DING DING DING!* Funyon grabs the mic, grinning from ear to ear as he announces the winner. “Ladies and gentlemen, YOUR winner, at eight minutes, forty-nine seconds, SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN-TAAAAAAAAAAAAA CLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUS!” Sean Casey looks down at the jolly red-suited man in shock as he gets to his feet, raising both white-gloved hands to the crowd! They roar in adulation as Hollywood twitches on the mat, and one very angry Sean Casey, obviously not feeling a lot of Christmas cheer, comes up behind Claus and kicks him square in the nuts! *CHING!* Santa drops to his knees, grabbing his genitals in pain as Casey, feeling a measure of revenge, is now satisfied, and he leaves the ring, turning around halfway up the ramp to point at Claus, nodding and saying that yes, he does have the upper hand. Claus continues to stare after Casey, his hand being halfheartedly raised by referee Jefferson Harding as we… Fade to black…

    SJL Metal - 12/3/03

PYRO! EXPLOSIONS! CHEERING! Open on all those things as the SJL camera crew pans The Skydome as we see the many thousands adorned in SJL merchandise and a decent amount having CIA shirts on. Pan down to the terrible trio themselves, both Ejiro & 'The Judge' with SWF Tag Titles lovingly displayed while Annie Onita is stuck in the middle and begins to speak... "Welcome everyone to the packed Skydome here in Toronto, Ontario for another edition of Metal. Todd Royal defends the World Title inside a steel cage, Dominic Korgath tries to wrest the European title from Alan Clark along with a big triangle match and a meeting between two of the best in a match we don't even know the stips yet. But first, a debut between David Cross and Frankie Deed." "Could you shill anymore, Annie" asks Ejiro sarcastically. "Hey, I do my job." "Yup, night after night looking at those lights -" "- listen you little weasel. I'll come over there -" "Children!" interjects the already stressed Judge. "Forget about your arguing for a moment. We have important things to worry about." "What, the title match? His Toddness is going to destroy that maniac for good." "Actually, no. We have two rookies. You know what that means?" Both Annie & Ejiro reply, "BURNOUT POOL!." "Exactly. I've got three weeks for the fruit, and a little longer for the Batman clone..." With that, we go to Funyon to announce the competitors. "The following match is scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit. Introducing first.." 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' hits the PA as Frankie Deed comes out to the rampway to a mild pop. He has on no shirt, but has bright pink pants on. Yes, and a pink cowboy hat. "...introducing first, from Scranton, Pennsylvania, weighing 213 pounds...'FRUITY' FRANKIE DEED!" Frankie gets into the ring, blows a kiss at Funyon then raises his arm to the crowd. Ejiro pipes in, "Well, he should be happy here in Canada. He can even get married, I guess." Annie responds, "Hell, why do you think I was buying the cute brunette those Long Island Ice Teas last night." Back to Funyon we go. "Introducing his opponent..." Cue the creepy beginning to 'Back on Earth' by OZZY~ as David walks out to the ring, focused on the ring as the crowd cheers and the small bit of pyro goes of behind him. Cross is a decent enough looking guy with shoulder length black hair and dark green eyes. He's ruggedly handsome, with a very good physique, not that Cross is really looking to attract the ladies. Long scar above his right eye, cause unknown. Also, small tattoo of a 'cross in the heart' with 'Joan' on his right arm in tribute to his mother. Cross enters the ring, absent mindedly slapping hands to another mild pop. "He gets pyro?" Annie asks. "Everyone gets pyro, Even you." responds Ejiro. "...from Oil City Pennsylvania, weighing 265 lbs...DAVID CROSS! Cross raises his fist as he takes off the cross and leather and gives them to the attendant. As the two men are checked out by the ref, The Judge gives out some background. "Cross, a man with a history in the indies of Florida makes his debut tonight against the flamboyant Frankie Deed. Deed a former Penn State student that was attacked by bigots while Cross’ parents were killed in a car accident. The leather jacket and cross gifts from his parents. Of course, Ejiro has to interject, “So you’re saying I couldn’t get the leather off the lug for cheap.” “Err…no.” Both men stare at each other, share a quick handshake, then go into a lockup. The larger Cross gets the advantage with a hammerlock, but Frankie quickly reverses into one of his own. Cross though quickly reverses to a waistlock and takes Deed down to the ground. The Judge begins to speak, “Both men showing off some amateur wrestling skill.” “Well, none of them are close to me.” “But, they’re already ahead of you in the ‘not an asshole’ area of life.” “Bitch.” Deed reverses the waistlock, but Cross uses his power to dump Frankie with a fireman’s carry, then a quick elbow to the throat! Both men quickly get up, but Cross strikes first with several forearms, then a quick kick to the breadbasket and a suplex! David doesn’t even try for the pin, waiting a moment for Frankie to get up and taking his head off with a big LARIAT! “Cross strikes first here, taking control,” says Annie. “Let’s see here, do I really care? Nope, ” states an unenthused Ejiro. “Eh, it was a decent lariat. 0.3 on the Va’aiga scale.” Cross again waits for Frankie to get up and goes for a Big Boot. However, Deed is ready and grabs the big boot, spinning Cross around and executing a big back suplex! Cross recovers quickly, but Frankie is ready and SLAMS the larger Cross to the ground before er, mounting him and way laying David with right hands! “Impressive feat of strength by Frankie there,” mentions a impressed William Hearford. “He likes being the ‘top’,” replies Ejiro. As the ref breaks up the beating by Frankie, Cross backs into the corner Deeds goes right after him… CHOP! WOO! CHOP! WOO! CHOP! WOO! Satisfied with the damage, Frankie climbs the ropes and points to the cheering crowd before wailing on the larger Cross again… “ONE!” “TWO!” “THREE!” “FOUR!” “FIVE!” POP! Why the crowd pop? Well… “David Cross has sprung back to life here and just threw Frankie Deed from the turnbuckle to the middle of the ring!” yells Annie. “OK, that was sorta’ cool,” Ejiro adds with a bit of excitement. As Frankie stumbles up… “SPEAR by Cross! The big man from Oil City just ran over ‘Fruity’ Frankie.” “Hate crime!” “Will you be quiet?” “What’s the fun in that?” Rising up quickly, Cross gets Frankie in position and dumps him with an impressive GUTWRENCH SUPLEX! Cross then follows that up with a quick kick to the gut, then a vicious high knee, then finishes off the sequence with an impressive CRESCENT KICK! Pin attempt by Cross… ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! “I guess it wasn’t bull when the background said Cross had a bit of martial arts background,” muses The Judge himself. “You mean partner, you actually read those things? I just wing it,” replies an incredulous Ejiro. “Well, it shows,” says Annie. Cross picks up Frankie, grabs one leg and goes for a Fisherman’s Suplex, but Deeds responds with a quick knee and a small package… ONE! TWO! KICKOUT! …Frankie quickly kicks an out of sorts Cross with a kick to the knee followed by a big leg drop! As Frankie climbs the ropes, Cross gets to his feet still disoriented as Deeds leaps on to him with a FLYING CROSS BODY! ONE! TWO! TH - BIG KICKOUT! “Both of these rookies trying to make an impact in their first match in the SJL,” says Annie. “Too bad whoever wins will get killed by Korgath,” Ejiro adds in. “Right, because you were perfect in SJL,” fires back the lesbian. “See William I knew she’d figure out sometime,” says Ejiro with glee. Annie just sighs. Frankie follows up with a quick DDT, then an elbow drop from the gay competitor as he plays to the crowd to a growing cheer. He quickly kicks a recovering Cross in the gut and gets Cross in position for a piledriver. However, he makes a slight error. Smiling, he slaps David’s ass. “Well, that wasn’t bright,” remarks a droll Judge. Cross blocks the piledriver and hit’s a big backdrop! The 265 pound Cross follows up with a huge big boot followed by a huge elbow drop! Cross salutes the cheering crowd and then after dragging Frankie to the middle of the ring, rolls the Fruity One over! “Maybe he didn’t mind the slap,” remarks The Judge. “I highly doubt that. He didn’t check me out,” adds in Ejiro. “Hearford said he might be gay, not blind,” says a chipper Onita. “Look, just because you don’t want the -” “Ejiro. Ixnay on the ockcay,” says William as he cuts Ejiro off. “Gotcha.” Anyway. As the trio were arguing, Cross put on a pretty effective STF which left Frankie in pain. However, he wasn’t too far from the ropes and slowly began crawling toward them, carrying Cross on his back almost. “Frankie inching closer and closer to those ropes. Cross can’t do much to stop him, only try to force more weight on him,” Annie remarks. “Smart move though by Cross though,” adds Judge. “Weakens the back and neck of Deed will nicely set-up the Black Mass when the time comes.“ Ejiro asks, “You’re complimenting the boob?” “I’ll give credit where it’s due Ejiro.” “Softie.” “I mean, I’d still cripple him in two minutes.” “Ah, there’s the Judgie I know and love.” As the announcers speak, Frankie reaches out and grabs the bottom rope to a pop! As David breaks cleanly, he gets up only to get met with a quick knee from Frankie, followed by a quick snap suplex to the middle of the ring! A few stomps and then Frankie goes up top again… Annie says, “Could be a mistake here.” Ejiro then replies, with his usual sensitivity, “What does he think he is, a fairy? Oh…right.” “Insensitive ass.” “Yup.” …and nails Cross with a big FLYING HEADBUTT! Throws an arm over the chest… ONE! TWO! THR - KICKOUT! “Near pin by Deed.” The Judge remarks as the crowd cheers. “Both men starting to feel the effects of the match.” Ejiro counters, “I’d barely be making a sweat this far in a match.” “Because I do all the work?” “Hey!” “The opening was there, Ejiro. Better me than Annie.” Frankie plays to the crowd again, before dropping another elbow on Cross. He then grabs Cross legs and nails him with an elbow to the “upper thigh” region. Sympathy pop for that as Frankie nails another one, before attempting to go for a Sharpshooter! But, it was not to be as Cross powerfully kicks away ‘Fruity’ Frankie right back into the corner! Annie exclaims, “David Cross back on the offensive after a flurry from Fruity Frankie.” Cross stalks the Scranton native, and nails him with several big soupbone like forearms before following those up with a big BELLY TO BELLY to a big pop from the Toronto fans! A pop that only grows louder as Cross throws his right hand across Deed’s throat! Annie just about screams, “’The Fruity One’ is about to go for a ride!” Ejiro of course adds in, “Your brother in gayness is about to go down, Annie!” “So, you like Cross?” “Better the hero wannabe than the fruit.” As Cross attempts the choke slam though, Frankie blocks it with a quick kick to the gut as Deeds picks up his larger opponent for a TILT-A-WHIRL SLAM! But, Cross uses his leverage advantage to slide out the move behind Frankie and nail a…INVERTED DDT! ONE! TWO! T H R NO! “Huge kickout by Frankie after the high impact move by Cross,” exclaims Annie. “Both men showing their spirit here,” adds in The Judge. “Hurrah,” says a deadpan Ejiro. “Do you want me to make you watch the greatest hits of Tokyo X?” “I’ll be good.” Cross rolls off his opponent and shrugs as he connects with a few right hands followed by a whip into the ropes and a quite effective SIDEWALK SLAM! After raising his fist to the sky, Cross kicks Deeds in the gut and sets him up for a CRADLE PILEDRIVER! The Judge gets into things, “Cross trying to end this, here and now!” Ejiro with his two cents exclaims, “Thank Todd!” ‘Fruity’ Frankie has other plans as he blocks the first attempt! Cross drops a few more forearms on Deed’s exposed back, but Frankie blocks a second attempt and BACKDROP’S Cross to a big pop! “Frankie is not ready for this match to end quite yet,” Annie says. “Lot of fight in him” Ejiro replies, “Well, I am.” “Ass.” Frankie peppers Cross with a few right hands, before hitting him with a huge BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! Deed, not even close to being done it seems, grabs Cross in a go-behind and tries to pull Cross over for a belly-to-back, but the big man from Oil City blocks it by shifting his weight. “Now, it becomes a numbers game. Is David’s leverage advantage larger than Frankie’s ability to get Cross up and over.” “Whatever will end this faster is what I’m for.” Cross attempts a few back elbows, but Frankie stands firm! So, Frankie simply drops Cross into a front slam, followed by a quick elbow shot! Deeds rolls off, allows Cross to get up only to drop him with a huge SAVATE KICK! “Frankie showing Cross he isn’t the only one who can bust out some kicks,” yells Annie as the crowd pops. “This might give him the advantage he needs.” He goes for another suplex, but Cross stays in place again! This time, it allows Cross the second he needs to nail Frankie in the kisser, then reverse the go-behind and drop Deed right on his neck with a… “GERRRRMMMMMAN SUPLEX!” yells Annie as the crowd pops big-time as the ref counts… ONE! TWO! T H R NO! “Deeds rolled out of the German and will live to fight another few moments!” The Judge remarks. “He has to avoid Crosses big power moves to have any hope in this thing.” Deeds charges at Cross, only for the heavyweight to avoid the surprise move and Frankie to eat turnbuckle! Frankie stumbles back and Cross clamps on and then drops Frankie with a HALF-NELSON SUPLEX! As the crowd cheers, Cross lays in wait near the corner for and when Frankie gets up, kills him with an on-target… “…YAZUUUUUUUUUKA~!” Ejiro screams out before he realize he’s yelling. “I mean, er, uh, Judge?” “Well, he calls that move ‘God’s Fury’ and I’m sure Frankie feels he was just nailed by a thunderbolt from Zeus.” adds in The Judge. Cross raises his fist and covers Frankie… ONE! TWO! T! H! R! E! NO! TWO! Cross gets up, shrugs and picks up the clearly out of it Deeds and kicks him in the gut. “I do believe we’re about to see the debut of the Black Mass, boys.” says Annie. “One thing though I’m wondering.” “What, Annie?” replies Hearford. “Why hasn’t one of the destroy everything dudes grabbed that obvious a name.” “I have no clue. Really.” Cross brings Frankie up quickly into power bomb position, but at the apex, the ‘Fruity’ one comes alive and grabs David’s head and brings him down with a DESPERATION DDT! “Frankie was playing dead. That was a good one, even a .1 on the Fasaki-Royal scale of coolness.” Ejiro says. “For a pansy, that’s great.” Both Annie & The Judge ask at the same time, “The Fasaki-Royal scale of coolness?” “What?” As Annie & The Judge just stare at their partner, Frankie drops a quick elbow on Cross before playing to the crowd. Then, he pulls Cross up and hit’s a perfectly executed RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP! Frankie the climbs the ropes one more time and with the crowd popping hit’s a huge FLYING HEADBUTT! “A last ditch maneuver has worked wonderfully here for Deeds.” Annie says. “Can he take full advantage of this and win his debut.” “If Todd is smiling down on me, so this match will end.” Pulling Cross up again, Frankie flashes a huge smile before KISSING CROSS! A HUGE POP from the Toronto crowd as Ejiro goes into hysterics… “He kissed him! He kissed him! I don’t like the boy scout, but I don’t want Will & Grace on Metal either!” “Calm down boy. A kiss is just a kiss.” replies Annie. “It may be time for The Last Kiss though.” Frankie kicks Cross in the gut, bounces off the ropes and goes for the Rocker Dropper he calls THE LAST KISS! But, CROSS MOVES! The CROWD THEN EXPLODES as CROSS PICKS FRANKIE right up and just about DECAPITATES HIM WITH A SHORT ARM LARIAT! “Well, so much for that.” says Ejiro. “Check please.” “Not over until the bell is rung, Ejiro.” replies Annie. Cross raises his fist again, kicks Frankie in the gut, picks him easily into the power bomb position, the drops, grabs Deeds again and finishes off the… “BLACK MASS!” Annie yells as the crowd pops like mad! Cross hooks the leg as the ref counts… ONE! TWO! THREE! Funyon announces, “Your winner, in his SJL debut…DAVID CROSS!” Cue ‘Back on Earth’ as the crowd cheers for there newfound hero. Cross goes to the turnbuckles and raises his fist. As he gets off the turnbuckle, he turns around to see Frankie right in his face! “FIGHT!” Ejiro just about screams. Annie dryly replies, “The boy forget his meds again?” “As usual,” The Judge sighs. However, unfortunately for Ejiro, Frankie extends his hand as the crowd cheers the clean match as we go to commercial.

    SJL METAL 11/18/03

SJL Metal returns from commercial, the cameras fading up from black and focusing on the unusual venue for tonight’s show as it continues from the car park of the St. Pete Times Forum. The camera pans across the concrete landscape and the thousands of fans that have packed themselves into the area, some standing on cars to get a better view of the ring while others push against the metal crowd barriers that surround the ring. The cameras pan over the crowd once more revealing an alarming amount of foreign objects present among the usual signs in the crowd, several wads of light tubes, trash can a few tables and even a ladder are visible in the sea of humanity. The camera finally cuts back to the announcer’s table, looking rather out of place in the middle of a car park; revealing Annie, Judge, and Ejiro seated and as always ready to continue calling the action. Judge: Hello everyone and welcome back to SJL Metal! Broadcasting to you from this wonderful open air arena in Tampa, Florida! Ejiro: ….Open air? We’re in the goddamn car park Judge! Annie: Just be grateful we’re here at all Ejiro. Judge: Exactly it’s been a good night hasn’t it? And most of all its warm out here so don’t complain. It’s been a good show tonight folks and we’ve seen some great matches but if you’ve just joined us then don’t worry. We’ve got one more match left and we’re going to be bringing a little Hardcore action back to Florida! Annie: Tonight Is Aecas’ first title defense and he picked Landon Maddix as the challenger, Maddix has done quite well for himself with Hardcore stipulations so far, and that’s a good thing because tonight these two are going to face off in a Fans Bring The Weapons match! Ejiro: Fans Bring The Weapons? Annie: Don’t you ever read the match card Ejiro? Ejiro: Only when I’m in it Annie. Judge: The rules for this match are very simple, there’s No Disqualifications and the combatants can take weapons from the crowd at any point for use in the match, and we’ve already got a garbage can of fan donated weapons sitting outside the ring! Annie: This one’s going to get very messy from the start Judge. The parking lot goes pitch black for several long moments, a graveyard bell ringing ominously through the speakers set up around the building, before a deep voice reverberates through the speakers. "Are you scared?" The voice echoes for a moment before several voices speak as one. "He's here..........." Dark Funeral's “Dead Skin Mask” blasts out from the speakers as thick smoke boils up from the entranceway, filling the air and carpeting the floor, a blood red spotlight picks out Aecas as he stands deep in the depths of the smoke, an eerie silhouette will a large staff in one hand. Aecas raises the staff high above his head, a long wicked blade snaps forth from the staff, inciting a roar of approval from the crowd as he begins to stride down the aisle. As he walks the light flickers his face alternating from an impassive visage to a mask of almost demonic glee with each flicker. Funyon: Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is for the SJL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Making his way to the ring! From Shrewsbury, England. Weighing 315lbs. He is the SJL WORLD CHAMPION! THE BLACK ANGEL! AECAS!!!!!!! Aecas leaps up onto the apron, stepping through the ropes, the SJL World Title strapped securely around his waist, the Black Angel moves to the side of the ring, retracting the blade of his Scythe and tossing it down to the timekeeper before moving to the nearest turnbuckle ascending it quickly. The giant tears the belt from his waist and punches it into the air inciting a huge pop from the fans that fill the car park. The cameras focus in on the face of the Black Angel, a maniacal grin already on his faces as the word SICK is branded across his forehead with black paint. Aecas looks into the camera and grins wider pointing at his forehead and shouting “This ones for you Nick!” which drags yet another cheer from the fans. Judge: Aecas dedicating this match to “Sick” Nick Mondo a mainstay of Combat Zone Wrestling who recently announced his retirement. Annie: That has to cut Aecas to the quick, Nick Mondo was one of his role models. Ejiro: Oh great….one more thing I didn’t want to know abort this guy! Aecas jumps down from the turnbuckle shaking the ring with the impact of his landing before turning around and handing the belt to Eddy Long as he waits for his opponent. Aecas doesn’t have long to wait as the first strains of Marilyn Manson’s “Fight Song” hit the speakers dragging cheers from the fans once more as they wait for the entrance of the challenger. Landon Maddix sweeps through the entranceway grinning as the crowd greet him with upraised voices and arms, the SJL European title glittering around his waist as he walks down the aisle to the ring slapping palms with the fans on either side. Funyon: And his opponent! From Huron, South Dakota! Weighing 206lbs! He is the SJL EUROPEAN CHAMPION! LANDON MADDIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maddix climbs the ring steps up onto the apron and raises an arm for the fans before he steps through the ropes and into the ring, undaunted by the size of his opponent as he removes his European Title and hands it to Eddy Long. Funyon moves to exit the ring but Aecas stops him and takes the mic from the ring announcer’s hand turning back towards Landon Maddix and raising the mic to his lips. Aecas: Maddix we’re going to settle this one the old British way. First guy to die LOSES! As the last word leaves his lips the Black Angel lunges forwards dropping the microphone as his head comes hurtling down cracking against the skull of his opponent as he floors Maddix with a gigantic headbutt as Eddy Long quickly signals for the bell. DING! DING! DING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ejiro: First guy to die loses? Somebody tell me why we employ this man?! He’s just as bad as Janus! Annie: Don’t you mean like Janus USED to be? He toned it down a bit at A2A... Ejiro: I KNOW what I mean Annie! Annie: Good because nobody else does. Maddix is quick to get back up to his feet one hand clutching at his forehead as the other snatches up the fallen microphone as Funyon quickly makes his way from the ring. Landon hurls the microphone at Aecas with all his strength and blinks as it bounces off of the forehead of the Black Angel. The impact only makes Aecas grin as he lunges towards his smaller opponent but his efforts are in vain as Maddix dodges under the giants questing arms and quickly dashes across the ring. Aecas quickly turns around as Maddix hurtles back towards him meeting him halfway and sweeping the smaller man off of his feet into a Sidewalk Slam, Maddix however has other ideas and uses his momentum to his advantage swinging his body up to lock his legs around the head of the Black Angel. Maddix throws all his body weight to one side and takes Aecas off of his feet with a beautiful Flying Head Scissors, Landon leaps back up to his feet only to leave them once more as he darts forwards and slams both boots into Aecas face, flattening the rising giant once more. Judge: Maybe an error of judgment by Aecas provoking Maddix like that. Annie: We’ve seen before that Aecas doesn’t seem to have much care for judgment in his matches Judge, we’ve seen him do practically anything to put an opponent away. Ejiro: And look what the result is Annie, Maddix is running rings around that giant numbskull. Aecas is quickly getting back up to his feet, shaking his head slightly as he tries to shrug off the impact of the dropkick leaving himself open to attack once again, an opening Maddix takes full advantage of. Landon quickly runs the ropes once more charging back at Aecas he plants his left foot firmly on one of the giants legs, pushing himself up and twisting his body to slam his right foot straight into the back of the Black Angel’s head. Ejiro: And there’s a Shining Wizard for the plant lover! Doesn’t look much when he’s lying on the ground does he Annie? Aecas is already beginning to push himself back up to his feet once more, the giant trying to shake off the hard blows to the head and temple he just suffered and Maddix is once again poised and ready t take advantage. Landon quickly moves around in front of Aecas his right foot lashing forwards to smack across the pale chest of his opponent, Maddix draws his foot back once again and measures the Black Angel with another stiff kick to the chest. Judge: Maddix is trying to shred Aecas with his feet! Annie: He shouldn’t keep this up for to long, it may sting but its still giving Aecas time to recover! Maddix grins as he draws his foot back for a third time, the boot flashing in and smashing into Aecas’ left side drawing a grunt from the giant but it also draws his massive left arm down tight against his side, trapping Maddix’s leg against his body. Maddix’s expression change from one of triumph to one of horror as Aecas’ huge right hand slaps around his throat. The Black Angel quickly stands up dragging Maddix with him by the leg and the throat, the giant sins on one heel his hand tightening around his opponents throat before dropping down to his knees, slamming Maddix back first into the canvas. Annie: Leg Capture Chokeslam! Judge: Nice counter to those kicks, too many moves like that are going to slow the pace of this match down and that’s something Maddix cannot afford to do. Ejiro: He won’t let the pace stay slow for long Judge, all he needs to do is get some of those weapons in there, couple those with speed and he’ll soon have this match firmly back in his control. Annie: Then he had better move fast Ejiro. Aecas grabs Maddix by the hair, not wasting any time as he pulls his opponent back up to his feet, shoving Landon’s head down between his legs and leaning forwards to wrap his massive arms around the smaller mans waist. Aecas hoists Maddix up to his shoulders but the smaller man is quick to react breaking the giants hold on him and wrapping an arm around the head of the Black Angel. Maddix spins his body around once again, all his weight dragging Aecas’ head back down to the canvas as Landon spikes his huge opponent into the canvas with a thunderous Tornado DDT. Ejiro: Is that fast enough for you Annie? I TOLD you, Aecas keeps underestimating Maddix! Landon Maddix quickly rolls out of the ring amid a smattering of applause from the fans in respect of his quick thinking as he heads straight towards the garbage can of fan donated weapons, hefting the metal container and quickly climbing back up the steps tossing the can into the ring. Maddix quickly steps back into the ring reaching into the garbage can and withdrawing the first thing that come to hand, dragging a computer keyboard out of the container to a pop from the fans. Landon grips the keyboard in both hands as Aecas pushes himself upwards, Maddix waits for Aecas to look up before he smashes the plastic keyboard into the head of his opponent. Aecas staggers backwards as computer keys fly everywhere from the impact, the giant clumping back into a corner, Maddix quickly returns to the trash can upending it and dumping an number of weapons onto the canvas, quickly bending down and grabbing a metal baking sheet. Ejiro: And the first shot of the match goes to Maddix with that keyboard! Annie: Which just goes to show that the fans will bring anything to these kind of events! Landon hefts the baking sheet for a moment before he charges at Aecas once again, slamming the baking sheet across the giants head as he lays in the corner, the impact snapping the Black Angel’s head back and denting the metal. Aecas slumps back into the corner his head being forcibly bowed as Maddix crashes the baking sheet over his head once again, bending the metal almost in half and throwing it across the ring, its usefulness ended. Maddix quickly returns to the upended garbage can searching through the items that remain in the can and that are strewn across the canvas. Ejiro: And he’s going for some more toys already. Judge: Yes but he’s being distracted by the agony of choice and that’s a big mistake. Annie: You’re not kidding because here comes Aecas! Maddix finally grabs a Snooker Cue from the canvas whipping around just as Aecas swings the devastating Baking Sheet, the metal whistles past Landon’s ear as the challenger sways aside slamming the fat of the Cue into Aecas’ gut. The Black Angel doubles over as the hard wood cracks into his midriff leaving his back wide open for Maddix as he brings the Cue down once again snapping the wood in half over Aecas’ back. The Black Angel arches his spine as the blow hits, dropping down to one knee as Maddix follows up with a huge kick to the temple, rocking Aecas as he takes to the ropes once more. Landon careens off of the ropes and charges Aecas once more, his timing is perfect, just as Aecas raises the damaged Baking Sheet to strike at his opponent Maddix comes in hard. His right leg stamping down on the left leg of the Black Angel, boosting himself up high enough to slam his left knee into the metal sheet, driving it back into Aecas’ face with a second Shining Wizard. Ejiro: And there’s a Sheering Wizard for you! How does that taste Aecas! Judge: Maddix s all over Aecas in the early stages of this match. Ejiro: Just like I told you judge, as long as Maddix combines his speed with these weapons he’s going to overwhelm Aecas. Back in the ring Maddix wastes no time, dropping down to his knees and quickly covering his opponent as Aecas lays prone on the canvas, Eddy Long is close at hand and drops down to his belly, raising a hand to start the count. ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … KICKOUT!!!!!!!!!! Aecas’ right shoulder shoots off of the canvas before Long’s hand has even got halfway back up the action galvanizing Maddix back into action as the challenger leaps back up to his feet darting towards the ropes once more. Maddix leaps onto the second rope his hands grasping the top for a brief second to keep his balance before he leap backwards his body arcing in the graceful curve of a Lionsault to find nothing but hard canvas as Aecas rolls out of the way a second before the impact. Maddix pops back up to his feet after the impact but this time his face is twisted with pain and both arms are clutching at his chest from the impact of his missed Moonsault, momentarily slowed by the sudden pain Landon is caught completely off guard and flattened as Aecas launches himself at his opponent, smashing Maddix upside down and inside out with a devastating Lariat. The Black Angel falls down to his knees for a brief moment before he angrily pushes himself back up to his feet, the voices of the fans ringing in his ears, cheers for himself and Maddix alike echoing around the concrete of the car park as Aecas goes to the garbage can of weapons for the first time. The Black Angel looks at the remaining items on the canvas and shakes his head stooping to look inside the trashcan a grin splitting his face as he reaches inside. Annie: And that’s where speed will get you if you aren’t careful Ejiro. He missed one Moonsault and got his head taken off for it. Ejiro: I never said there were no risks involved in speed Annie, of course if that had been me in there I would never have made a rookie mistake like that. Judge: Mistakes aside, Aecas has finally got his hands on the weapons and it looks like he’s found something he likes in there. Aecas slowly stands up and withdraws an item from the garbage can, holding it up into the air to a massive pop from the fans, the item in question is a cricket bat that has been painted black and wrapped in barbed wire. Judge: ……… Ejiro: What in the hell? That’s the Equalizer! Annie: Is Janus in the crowd tonight? Judge: I don’t know, but his legacy is living on tonight! Aecas grins as he turns around to find Maddix struggling back up to his feet, the giant grins and lines up a shot as if he were standing calmly on the crease, much to the delight of the fans before he lunges forwards cracking the barbed wire bat into Maddix’s already bruised ribs. Landon cries out in pain as the barbs pierce his flesh leaving a succession of small puncture wounds in his torso. Unfortunately for the challenger Aecas is nowhere near finished with the bat, a second hard blow to the chest sends Maddix down to his knees before Aecas steps behind his opponent raising the equalizer high before bringing it down and starting to press the barbed wire bat into the forehead of his challenger. Judge: And the tide has turned yet again! Two pulverizing shots from, the Equalizer and now Aecas is digging the barbed wire right into Landon’s head! Annie: He’s trying to tear his face off right here in front of us! That’s not fake ladies and gentlemen that’s real barbed wire! That rips the flesh! Maddix’s arms thrash wildly and his screams are audible over the fans as Aecas digs the barbed wire into his forehead, the Black Angel finally relents tossing the Equalizer back down to the mat, letting a bloody Landon Maddix collapse to the canvas, blood flowing from a series of scratches on his forehead. Aecas moves to the edge of the ring stepping through the ropes and jumping down to the floor to approach the crowd barriers, a number of items are immediately thrust out towards him. The giant quickly starts to grab as Many items as he can, several stacks of light tubes and a few steel chairs are slid into the ring, a table is set up on the outside balanced between the ring apron and the guardrail and finally a ladder makes an appearance and follows the light tubes into the ring as Aecas climbs back into the squared circle. Judge: Aecas coming back with some toys of his own fresh from the crowd and this cannot bode well for Landon Maddix. Annie: I see a ladder out there… Ejiro: And a hell of a lot of light tubes! Its times like this I thank god I’m not in the JL! Annie: Light tubes are still a double edged sword Ejiro, like every other weapon in this match… Maddix is starting to push himself back up to his feet as Aecas re-enters the ring, the Black Angel grabbing the chairs and opening them up, planting them firmly in the middle of the ring before he lays three of the tight tube bundles across the steel in a bridge. Aecas grabs the last bundle in one huge hand, turning around to face his challenger the Black Angel lifts the light tubes up high, before he brings them crashing down onto the top of Landon’s head. Glass explodes across the ring as the densely packed light tubes disintegrate into a hail of razor sharp splinters, the artificial rain scattering all around the ring as Maddix collapses back onto the canvas, his hands clutching at his bloody forehead. Aecas grins as he tosses away the stumps of the light tubes, reaching down and hauling Maddix back up to his feet by his bloodstained hair grinning into the face of his bloody opponent, before looking out at the crowd and pointing to the light tube bridge between the chairs. The fans let out another roar of approval as they see what the Black Angel is planning as he drags Maddix over to stand in front of the chairs and the light tubes, quickly pushing his opponents head down between his legs and leaning forwards to wrap his arms around the waist of the smaller man. Judge: Aecas is set to send Maddix straight to casualty! Aecas heaves Maddix up onto his shoulders, holding the challenger up for a moment before altering his grip and hurling him back down to the canvas. Maddix’s arms windmill as he falls, his back arches as he is driven right through the cluster of light tubes to bounce off of the glass coated canvas with a vicious Powerbomb, the crowd expressing their feeling the only way they can as a roar rocks the building. “RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Judge: Powerbomb right through those light tubes! Annie: Aecas is slicing the challenger into pieces right in front of us! Ejiro: And Maddix has got to get Aecas back on the defensive or he is as good as dead. Aecas drops down to his knees amid the slivers of glass that cover the ring, ignoring the sharp pinpricks on his exposed flesh as he quickly covers Maddix, dragging one leg back as Long counts the pinfall on the chair, trying to avoid getting his hand lacerated by the glass shards. ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … … TWO AND A HALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … KICKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maddix shoots his right shoulder off of the canvas as Long’s hand descends for the three count and quickly tries to roll away from his huge opponent, Aecas ignores the fallen Maddix for a moment as he slides back out of the ring once more, seeming preoccupied with something other than his opponent. Judge: What the hell is Aecas doing now? Ejiro: He’s making another bad move here, looking for weapons when he should be pressing the attack! Annie: Well what is he looking for? There are more than enough instruments of pain in the ring without needing any more! Aecas walks around the crowd on the outside searching among the various items until he sees what he wants, one huge hand grabs a red can of gasoline from a fan while the other seizes a Pot Plant, holding it up high to a massive pop from the crowd. Ejiro: I don’t believe this; a vegetable is getting more of a pop than these guys! Aecas quickly makes his way back into the ring, placing the plant and the can of gasoline in one corner as he moves back to his challenger. Maddix is staggering back up to his feet as Aecas approaches, the giant grabbing Landon’s right arm, Irish Whipping him hard across the ring. Landon’s boots crunch through the rings glass coating as he hurtles across the length of the squared circle, rebounding off of the ropes and charging back towards Aecas. The challenger ducks under a huge boot rebounding once more off the rope and throwing all his strength into his right foot as he streaks forwards and Superkicks Aecas square in the chest. The Black Angel staggers backwards across the ring from the impact, and Maddix struggles to capitalize, running past the giant into the ropes once more, gaining momentum and leaping into the air as high as his legs will carry him. The challenger’s right arm wraps around the head of his gigantic opponent pulling him forwards and off of his feet, planting him face first into the barbed wire of the Equalizer! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! Ejiro: And here comes Maddix back again! What did I tell you Annie! Judge: Landon returning the favour here by busting Aecas open with the Equalizer in turn! Annie: I sure hope Landon has something up his sleeve though Judge because Aecas is already starting to get back up! Maddix does indeed seem to have a plan, as the challenger quickly shoves his rising opponent, rolling Aecas towards the ring apron, Landon has to use all his strength to shift the bulk of his opponent and finally gets Aecas draped, half on, and half off o the table. Maddix hauls the huge legs of the Black Angel onto the table as well, leaving Aecas laying fully across the wood, Landon isn’t finished there either as he grabs a steel chair from the ring using it to devastating effect on Aecas’ unprotected and by now very bloody head. The giant’s body jerks from the impact as Maddix tosses away the chair and slides back into the ring setting the ladder up to the rising delight of the crowd as the challenger quickly begins to scale the metal. Ejiro: Maddix is going all the way up top Judge! This could be his big chance! Maddix carefully climbs to the top of the ladder punching an arm into the air and getting another huge response from the crowd before he gathers his legs under him and leaps off of the ladder plummeting towards the ground and smashing back first right through Aecas and the table to the outside! Judge: Cannonball Senton! Ejiro: He likes to call that one Death From Above! And he hit it perfectly! Annie: Did he ever! I think he touched the ceiling with that one! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! Judge: And the fans say it all folks! Landon Maddix just put everything on the line to take out his opponent! Annie: And these guys are getting back up! Aecas is slowly pushing himself back up to his feet, the Black Angel slumps against the side of the ring and slowly crawls under the bottom rope, the cameras focusing in on the giants face, an expression of confusion written all over the Black Angel’s features. Maddix on the other hand, is in much better shape having had Aecas there to break his fall, Landon gets back up to his feet and grins celebrating with the fans at ringside before he crawls back into the ring after his opponent. Judge: Aecas’ doesn’t know where the hell he is right now. Ejiro: And this is a perfect opportunity for Maddix to strike! He’s got Aecas down and more importantly he’s got him hurt! Annie: Well he’s doing the right thing and going for a cover after that huge Senton! Ejiro: That’s not the right thing Annie he needs to hit him again with something big to make sure he stays down! ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … TWO AND A HALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … … TWO AND THREE QUARTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … … … THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aecas’ shoulder shoots off of the canvas at the last possible second to a mixed reaction of cheers and boos from the fans who evidently thought the match was all over. Frustration is also evident on the bloody face of Landon Maddix who pushes himself back up to his feet looking down at his opponent and shaking his head before quickly moving over to the nearest corner. Maddix grabs the top rope with both hands, using it to slingshot himself up to the top quickly following up this jump with another hop onto the ropes that sends his body cart wheeling back into the ring with a beautifully executed Double Jump Moonsault. Unfortunately like the Lionsault before it, the otherwise flawless move is foiled as Aecas rolls away from the impact leaving Maddix to crash down to the canvas once again driving more glass splinters into the flesh of his chest. Annie: And the Fah-Laming Fury Moonsault misses! So much for your sage advice Ejiro! As Maddix struggles to push himself back up, his chest a sea of pain from the hard impact with the canvas and the glass that covers it, Aecas has made it back to the corner his right hand closing around the familiar shape of the Pot Plant as his left grabs the gas can. The Black Angel waits crouched down for Landon to get back up to his feet, waiting for him to turn around…. Maddix can have no idea of what is in store for him as he fights his way up to his feet looking around desperately for his giant opponent before he finally turns around searching the ring. The only thing Landon finds is a pot plant as it sails across the ring at him, the challenger instinctively catches the plant which is summarily driven into his face as Aecas flattens his opponent with a huge Yakuza Kick, splattering the plant across Maddix’s face! Annie: Van Potinator! Ejiro: …..Van What?! Judge: Aecas just broke the Pot Plant and probably Landon Maddix’s face with that big right boot of his! Ejiro: I do not believe this! Can we buy this guy a greenhouse in the middle of nowhere and lock him in it? Annie: What have you got against someone having a little fun Ejiro? Ejiro: Absolutely nothing, except when the person in question needs to be given a double lobotomy for Christmas! Aecas stands above the prone body of Landon Maddix, shaking his head slightly trying to clear away the cobwebs as he places one massive foot on the chest of Landon Maddix, his hands unscrewing the cap from the gasoline can and hurling it into the crowd as he raises the can high to another succession of cheers from the fans. Ejiro: No way! He’s going to set him on fire with that gasoline! Aecas pushes away Eddy Long as the referee tries to count a pinfall and slowly upends the gasoline can, which begins to pour not petrol but thumbtacks! Thousands of thumbtacks streaming from the gasoline can and right into Landon’s face! Ejiro: Oh god…I think I’m going to be sick right about now Judge! Judge: I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this! Aecas is trying to drown Landon Maddix with thumbtacks! Maddix thrashes under the rain of hard steel thumbtacks, trying to block the flow as best he can with is hands, the fans roaring with approval until finally the can empties and Aecas drops it disinterestedly, gazing down at his opponent. Maddix’s hands try to weakly brush away the thumbtacks that cover his face and chest as Aecas’ huge right hand moves down to grab him by the hair, dragging him back up to his feet once more. The Black Angel looks at his swaying opponent for a moment before snapping Landon’s head around with a huge elbow to the side of the head, rattling the brains of the already groggy challenger. Judge: Maddix is all but dead ion his feet, and Aecas is closing in for the kill! The Black Angel moves behind Maddix and bends down low, pushing his head between the legs of the challenger before slowly straightening up, hoisting Maddix up into the air to sit on his shoulders. Annie: Looks like Aecas wants to finish this one of with an Assault Driver in memory of Nick Mondo! Aecas’ hands come up between his opponents legs, grabbing Maddix’s arms and holding him steady as the Black Angel backs up into the nearest corner, slowly starting to climb up the corner in reverse until he stands squarely on the second rope, looking down into the silver sea of thumbtacks and glass that cover the ring. Ejiro: This is the end of the road for Maddix! Aecas grins out at the crowd as Maddix struggles to free himself but is held firmly in place by the huge hands of the Black Angel, the giant looks out at the screaming fans for a long moment before he leaps off of the second ropes, flipping Landon Maddix off of his shoulders and sitting out as he lands, DRIVING MADDIX HEAD AND SHOULDERS FIRST INTO THE THUMBTACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! Annie: Assault Driver form the second rope into the tacks! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! Ejiro: Both of these guys look like pincushions! This is fucking crazy! Judge: Aecas has got the legs hooked! Aecas slowly climbs on top of his downed opponent, thumbtacks sticking out of his body as he leans back, both hands hooking a leg as Eddy long counts the pinfall one more time. ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … TWO AND A HALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … … TWO AND THREE QUARTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … … … … THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DING! DING! DING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fans explode once more as Aecas rolls off of his defeated challenger, the Black Angel slowly pushing himself back up to his feet as Dark Funeral’s “Dead Skin Mask” hits the speakers once again. Thumbtack fall from the giant’s skin and ring attire as Eddy Long presents him with his belt once more, raising the hand of the Black Angel in victory as Funyon raises his microphone. Funyon: The Winner of the match! And STILL SJL WORLD CHAMPION! AECAS!!!!!!!!!!!! Judge: And Aecas has successfully defended his World Title for the first time! Annie: And what a defense it was Judge! Maddix came out here and took the fight right to Aecas once again, he’s beaten the champion once before but tonight was not his night. Ejiro: The sooner somebody gets that belt off of Aecas the better, the man is a maniac, he willing jumped into those thumbtacks for gods sake! Annie: Yes he did Ejiro, but he finished off Maddix at the same time. Don’t the ends justify the means? Ejiro: Only if the means don’t involve hideous amounts of pain to my precious self Annie. Aecas holds the belt up high letting the cheers and chants of the fans wash over him and ring in his ears before he slowly moves to the ropes, stepping through the cables and dropping down to the floor. The Black Angel slowly moves to the time keepers table retrieving his Flick Scythe and starting to walk past the guard rails towards the makeshift aisle, the blood that covers his body a sharp contrast to the pale white of his skin, the fans patting his bloody back as he passes them. The giant slowly walks up the aisle to the entranceway, turning and raising his arms to the crowd once more, a grin splitting his bloody face as the Scythe blades snaps out of hiding once more, the Black Angel bows his head slowly as the fans chant his name before he disappears into the backstage area. Judge: Aecas remains victorious for now, but he’ll take on Todd Royal in his next title defense! Landon Maddix has nothing to be ashamed off either, he put up a heroic fight against his much larger opponent and can still leave this building with his head, and more importantly the SJL European Title held up high! Thanks for joining us ladies and gentlemen and we’ll see you all on Wrath! Goodnight! The SJL logo flashes at the bottom of the screen s the camera view fades to black, the last image of Metal shows the SJL fans giving a rising Landon Maddix a well deserved standing ovation for his efforts.

    SJL METAL 11/18/03

Back from commercial, as the St. Pete Times Forum parking lot seems to be filling to the brim with fans finding anywhere they can to relax and enjoy a nice night of complete ass-kicking. A few fans have made their way to the production truck and are getting a perverted behind-the-scenes look at some of the production crew to get some backstage passes. Stationed at a small table is everyone’s favorite announce team. Judge doesn’t seem to be happy with being stuck outdoors for the show. “Welcome back to our All Parking All The Time Edition of SJL Metal…and next up we are going to have a four way battle royal for a bit of bragging rights around the locker room.” “Let’s not waste any time getting this junk out of the way” Ejiro comments as the camera switches to Funyon who is surrounded by the four superstars in the upcoming match, all staring at each other as they stretch in their corner. Before Funyon can speak…Alan Clark rushes up to him and hands him an index card. Funyon reads it over and looks toward the happy superstar before shrugging and reading what is on the card. “The Walt Disney Corporation would like me to inform the viewing audience that this Battle Royal is in no way connected with the movie of somewhat the same name and nearly the same violent nature. For more information you may call 1-407-WDISNEY and ask for the Standards & Practices Division. That is all” Funyon looks over at Alan who gives him a thumbs up and a smile. “There’s that Eerie Cheer Factor again…” Ejiro says as Funyon starts the introductions. “Ladies and Gentlemen this contest is a Four Way Battle Royal! Competitors can be eliminated by either pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope and having both feet touch the floor!” “Like we’ve never heard of that stipulation before…” Ejiro says almost under his breath. “Introducing first…from Denver, Colorado… …MANSSSSOOONNNNN~!” Funyon starts as Manson raises his hands high. “Next…hailing from the Plains of Azeroth…the founder of the Decay…DOMINIC KOOOOOORRRRRRGGGGGAAAATTTTTTTTHHHHHHH~!” Funyon’s voice trails off, and Domonic doesn’t even seem to notice as the crowd boos for the Big Demon. “Also…from Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida…the Happiest Guy On Earth…ALAN CLAAAARRRRRRRRKKKKK~!” The camera pans over to Alan, who is now waving at a few fans at ringside. The crowd cheers a bit as Funyon continues… “And finally…from Hollywood, California…he is SPIKE JENKIIIIINNNNNNSSSS~!” “Well look at that merry group of men there…” Ejiro chuckles to himself a bit as Funyon exits the ring, being replaced by Mathew Kivell. On the outside, Sexton Hardcastle stands at the ready if any over-the-top eliminations occur. The crowd jammed into the Ice Palace garage seems ready to explode as Kivell looks to the outside and the bell is rung. *DING* *DING* *DING* Almost immediately, Manson rushes across the ring and dives at an unsuspecting Alan Clark, who takes a hard shoulder shot and falls toward the ropes, hitting the second one and flipping over to the outside of the ring. Korgath and Manson look down at Clark, who seems in no hurry to get back in the ring. “Get him back in there ref!” Ejiro screams, but his cries go unheard as Sexton only watches on. Behind Manson and Korgath, Spike Jenkins slowly creeps up on the men, but seems aimed for Manson. “Behind you, Manson!” Annie blurts out, but Alan is slightly ahead of her as he points toward Spike. Both men turn to look, and Jenkins stops dead in his tracks. Spike smiles politely and begins to back up, but Manson takes off after him. Before Korgath can take a step however, Clark’s hand shots under the bottom rope and grabs Korgath’s left foot and pulls, causing the Big Demon to drop face first to the canvas! “A veteran move by the Happiest Guy on Earth and Dominic eats mat!” Annie remarks as the crowd pops for the big man going down. “Man…I should steal that…” Ejiro comments as Alan slides into the ring and is up to his feet, attacking with hard and fast kicks to the ribs of Korgath. On the other side of the ring, Spike is cowering down in the corner, with Manson standing over him. Kivell tries to break the two men up, and Manson finally gives in…backing off Jenkins. As Kivell moves out of the way, Manson tries to rush back in, only for Spike to move out of the way and slide forward, tripping up Manson and bringing his head down square into the top turnbuckle. Manson drops to the mat after the hard shot just as Korgath comes bounding off the adjacent ropes after an irish whip from Clark. Alan goes for a jumping clothesline, which connects at full speed and both men crash to the mat. “Bodies are flying all over the place” is all Annie can say as Spike climbs to the second rope and drops down across the back of Manson’s neck as he lays prone after suffering the hard shot from the buckle. Alan Clark has made it back to his feet now…and Korgath is almost up as well. Alan backs away from the big man for a moment and rushes in, trying for a superkick…but Korgath ducks and wraps his arms around Clark’s waist before lifting him into the air with all his might and swinging his body to the left and down toward the mat, slamming Clark face first into the canvas! “Vicious belly to back suplex there…and Clark looks to be in serious pain!” Judge comments as Clark rolls toward the corner clutching his ribs. Korgath tries to give chase to injured Clark when… *THUD* Spike Jenkins crashes into the back of Korgath, causing him to stumble a little. “Where did he come from?” Ejiro asks for a replay as Korgath stumbles a bit from the shot. *****REPLAY***** As Clark is lifted into the air for the suplex, Manson has gotten back to his feet and both men are trading punches near the opposite corner. Spike locks his hand around Manson’s wrist and tries for a whip, but Manson reverses and Spike flies across the ring…only to crash into the Big Demon himself. ***END REPLAY*** “What an idiot that Manson is…ruining a perfectly good beating!” Ejiro remarks to no one in particular. “Yeah…Domonic isn’t exactly taking any liberties with Clark right now, especially after his victory on Crimson!” Judge follows up. “You two need to calm down…the whole point of this match is for the insane nature of it!” Annie smiles to herself as Spike is now stuck in the ring between a rock and a hard place. Manson smiles toward Korgath who wraps his hand around Spike’s throat and shoves Manson away. “Uh oh…” is all Annie can really say as Spike gets lifted over seven feet in the air…before being dropped in a matter of seconds to the canvas below, his back bouncing off the mat violently. Spike rolls toward the ropes in pain, but Korgath does not seem finished yet. He moves toward Jenkins and reaches down to pull him up, but Alan Clark rushes past Manson and slides underneath the Big Demon, bringing his arm up between Korgath’s legs and giving the Little Demon something to scream about. The entire male crowd, including Judge and Ejiro, wince as Korgath drops to the mat holding his crotch in pain. Before Clark can make another move, Manson grabs him by the back of his head and pulls him to his feet. Manson pulls Clark up and turns him to face the crowd before wrapping his arm around Clark’s waist and lifting him high into the air and over his right shoulder…putting him into perfect position and driving him hard to the mat with a Backdrop Suplex. Manson rolls over and goes for the pin on the stunned Clark… ONE… TWO… KICKOUT! Manson pops off the mat in frustration, only to be knocked back down as Spike has gotten back to his feet after the chokeslam and brings his foot across the back of Manon’s head! “Dangerous Wizard from Jenkins and that can knock a man out!” Judge comments as Spike stands to his feet defiantly, only to be lifted into the air by a recovered…and now much more angry Dominic Korgath, who carries Spike across the ring before turning him sideways and slamming him down into the canvas with a picture perfect sidewalk slam! “Korgath is out for some serious pain now!” Ejiro remarks as Spike is laid out on the mat. Korgath moves over and goes for a pin attempt… ONE…. TWO… SPIKE’S ELIMINAT----NOOO! Spike’s shoulder flies off the mat and he rolls to his stomach just before the three count is final, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Korgath slaps the mat before slapping Spike hard across the back, causing Spike’s back to arch in pain. Across the ring, Clark has recovered from the backdrop suplex…but Manson is still feeling woozy from the kick to the back of the head. Alan whips Manson toward the ropes and leaps into the air, wrapping his legs around the head of Manson. Clark arches back and goes for a rana… BLOCKED BY MANSON! Manson pulls Clark back up and holds him in place for a moment as Clark realizes what is about to happen and begins throwing punches wildly at the forehead of Manson, but can do nothing more as Manson drops Clark down back-first into the mat for a perfect powerbomb. “Powerbomb by Manson! …and a pin!” Ejiro screams as Kivell rushes down for the count… ONE… TWO…. THRE—WHAT THE HELL~! Just as Kivell’s hand is about to hit the mat…Spike Jenkins crash lands onto the back of Manson, causing him to roll off of Clark…who also took a brunt of Spike’s weight. “Spike just got launched off the top rope and went sailing across the ring, landing right on a pin that almost eliminated Alan Clark…he should be thanking Spike Jenkins a lot for that right now!” Judge moans as a replay shows that Spike thought he had Korgath down as he went to the top rope, only for Korgath to make it to his feet and toss Spike off and toward the pinning situation on the opposite side of the ring. Manson gets back to his feet…looking none to pleased at both Spike and Korgath…only to reach down and pull Spike off the mat and toss him toward the nearest ropes. Spike’s body flies over the top and falls toward the floor, but Spike is able to hold on and roll back in, saving himself from elimination. Manson does not notice however, as he rushes toward Korgath and dives in with a clothesline, but Korgath moves out of the way at the last second and Manson catches nothing but air as he lands in the corner. Korgath turns to attack but Spike has made it to his feet once more as he attacks Korgath from behind, shoving him toward the ropes and pushing him over the edge… …but Korgath holds on…rolling down to the apron and back in the ring as agile as a man his size can. Spike follows up on Korgath with more kicks, but Manson catches Spike from behind and hooks his waist. Manson lifts Spike into the air… …but Clark comes from behind and drops down, hitting Manson in the jewels this time, causing Manson to fall backwards over Clark and drop Spike down across his chest. Kivell looks confused for a moment before dropping down and going for a pin.. “Manson could go right here!” comes the remark from Ejiro. ONE… TWO… KICKOUT BY MANSON! Spike rolls off of Manson and gets to his feet. Jenkins looks down at Manson and sends another kick to the ribs of Manson, who rolls toward the ropes and tries to get to his feet. Spike smiles a bit and takes a run at Manson, but Manson sees Jenkins coming and ducks, grabbing Spike by the arm and pulling him toward the ropes, causing Spike to fly between the 2nd a 3rd ropes and fall toward the pavement below. “What a counter by Manson and Spike goes tumbling into the unforgiving blacktop!” Annie starts,”…but look at Manson now!” she gets those words out just as Sexton helps Spike to his feet before noticing Manson rushing toward the ropes. Sexton gets out of the way just as Manson sails through the ropes and his body drills into the chest of Spike Jenkins, and both of them collapse to the outside! “SUICIDE DIVE! OH MY GOD!” is all Annie can say as Sexton checks on both men. Meanwhile, in the ring Korgath has Clark in a front facelock and has lifted Clark high into the air. After momentarily stalling Korgath falls backwards and Clark’s back slams off the mat. Korgath crawls over the mat and goes for the pin… …but Kivell doesn’t see the cover! Across the ring, Kivell is checking with Manson and Spike, who are slowly getting to their feet. Korgath slaps the mat a few times and Kivell finally turns around and slides over for the pin… ONE… KICKOUT BY CLARK! “Korgath had Alan Clark eliminated there! Damn that Kivell…” Judge scorns the ref as Manson rolls back in the ring and gets to his feet. From behind Manson comes Spike, moving slowly as he rolls into the ring, clutching his back as he gets to his feet. Korgath looks toward the two men and moves toward them, stepping onto Clark’s stomach as he passes over him, causing Clark to moan out loud a bit from the weight of the Big Demon. Korgath makes his way to Spike and whips him toward the ropes, and as Jenkins comes back across the ring Korgath lifts him high into the air and spins around, driving Spike into the mat with an evil spinebuster. Spike rolls toward the ropes to try and escape the grasp of the big man. Clark has made it back to his feet and sees a good opportunity to attack the big man. Alan takes his time and rushes toward the big man once again just as Korgath turns around to face him. Clark leaps into the air and goes for another jumping clothesline, but Korgath is ready and catches Clark around the throat with his meaty palm. “Oh no…we know where this is going!” Annie remarks as Clark is lifted off his feet with one hand by Korgath, held in place for a moment before falling toward the mat with a resounding thud. “CHOKESLAM!” Ejiro and Judge both yell at once as Clark rolls toward the corner in pain, holding his throat. Before Korgath can follow up Spike takes a run at the big man and goes for a splash, but is caught by the large arms of the Big Demon. Korgath turns Spike’s body and holds him sideways before falling backwards and tossing him over his head. Jenkins bounces off the mat voilently as Korgath gets back to his feet. “Korgath has been mowing through these guys one by one…he doesn’t care who gets in his way…he is going to win this contest!” Judge blurts out as Manson takes his turn, coming up from behind and shoving a surprised Korgath toward the ropes and catching him as he comes back with a schoolboy roll-up. Kivell is ready and is down for the pin. ONE… TWO… Korgath kicks out before the three and tries to get back up to his feet, but Manson is up first and begins throwing kicks at Korgath, but slowly but the Decay founder is able to get to his feet and he is not impressed with the surprise attack. “Manson almost stole one from the big man…but now he may have some hell to pay from the Big Demon!” as Manson steps back and tries for a dropkick. Korgath simply swats his legs down and sends Manson heading face first to the mat with his missed kick. Before Manson can regain his bearings, Korgath pulls him to his feet and grabs his hair, pulling him toward the ropes and trying to toss him over the top rope, but Manson twists his body and lands on the apron. Korgath notices and throws a punch, but Manson ducks out of it’s way and sends his shoulder through the ropes to the midsection of the big man. “Shoulder thrust through the ropes…but look at Domonic Korgath!” Annie sees what Manson does not, as he stands up and sees the hard shoulder shot had little effect on the Big Demon, as he wraps his hand around his second throat of the match. Behind him, Spike and Clark are simply watching as Manson is lifted high above the pavement outside the ring and tossed toward the crowd, his back slamming hard against the ground. “…and Manson is the first one eliminated!” Judge exclaims as Sexton Hardcastle gets to earn his pay in the match, checking on Manson…who lays barely moving on the concrete. “what a chokeslam…first Alan Clark and now Manson…only Spike Jenkins remains to taste the ferocity of Dominic Korgath!” Ejiro continues as Korgath is still watching the aftermath of his power, and Clark and Jenkins don’t make a move. “Look at those two…such wimps!” Judge laughs to himself as Spike finally takes a lunge at the big man, but Korgath turns around in time and Spike slams on his brakes, stopping just short of making contact. Spike backs up slowly, only for Alan Clark to come up behind of Spike and hook his arms, falling down to his knees with a backslide. Kivell is shocked momentarily before he drops for the pin count… ONE… TWO… Spike kicks out and gets to his feet quickly, staring wildly at Clark, who simply smiles. “Spike tried almost that same move earlier on the big man and now gets to see what it’s like!” Annie exclaims as Spike takes a dive at Clark, momentarily leaving behind Korgath, who watches as the two littler superstars tackle each other down and begin trading punches on the mat. “Great strategy being used by Dominic here, as he is just going to let the two beat themselves senseless before disposing of the bodies!” Ejiro laughs to himself a bit as Clark and Jenkins make their way back up to a vertical base, their fixed on each other. On the other side of the ring, Korgath has made no move toward either man, and Kivell seems a bit worried. The stare between Clark and Spike continues as Kivell stands between them, looking back and forth slowly. “This is not a staring contest! Get those two kicking each other’s asses!” Judge yells out, and finally there is some movement in the ring, as Korgath takes the time to lumber across the ring and almost blindside Clark, who definitely was not prepared for any sort of physical contact at that moment. The force of the blow sends Clark falling down and through the first and second ropes to the pavement. Korgath stumbles a bit, as he did not expect Clark to go down so easy, and the shot also re-awakens Spike from his stare, as he rushes Korgath and lets loose with a dropkick to the shoulder that puts Korgath down on the mat in the corner. On the outside, Clark has made it to his feet, and Sexton is trying to get him back in the ring, but Clark is almost ignoring him as he gives his autograph to a fan near the ring. “What the hell…” Ejiro starts on a tirade, “Spike Jenkins and Dominic Korgath are in the ring fighting it out for victory and that cheery bastard Alan Clark is outside giving autographs…Ref…DQ him!” he continues and seemingly Sexton hears the whining of Ejiro and pulls Alan away from the now seemingly disenchanted fan and literally tosses Clark back in the ring, where Spike has Korgath down in the corner and is letting loose with a flurry of hard kicks. Mathew Kivell moves in between Spike and Korgath and tries to make Spike back off, only for Alan to take the matters into his own hands and toss Spike away before continuing the attack on Korgath with kicks of his own. “…it’s a great big beautiful tomorrow…” “what the hell…” Judge blurts out. “…shining at the end of every day…” Alan Clark is standing directly behind Spike Jenkins and is singing just loud enough for the cameras and Jenkins to hear. Spike stops his attack on Korgath and spins around, to which Clark simply smiles and grabs Spike by the arm and whips him across the ring to the ropes. As Spike comes back across the ring, Clark leaps up and wraps his legs around Spike’s head and rolls backwards and connects with the rana he was trying to hit on Manson earlier in the match. “Second time is a charm for Clark there!” Annie comments as Kivell slides down for the pin. ONE… TWO… THR--SPIKE KICKS OUT! Alan rolls forward off of Jenkins and moves back to his feet. Spike sits up as Alan rushes past him and kicks him back down and continues. Korgath is almost to his feet as Clark passes him by and bounces of the ropes. Spike is back up to a sitting position as Clark leaps off the ground and connects across the small of Spike’s back with a dropkick! “What an impressive run by Clark there and Spike’s back takes even more punishment!” Annie comments as Clark gets back to his feet. Alan turns to face Spike once more, only to be spun back around by a fully recovered Korgath. Korgath lets loose with a barge of punches that push Alan back toward the ropes, Korgath pulls Clark back off the ropes and sends Clark across the ring and off the opposite ropes once more. The Big Demon tries for a clothesline…but Alan is able to duck out of the way and come off the ropes again, only for Korgath to not miss this time, as he catches Alan across the throat with a stiff clothesline that causes Clark to backflip in mid-air and barely misses Spike, who is trying to make it to his feet only a few feet away. “Alan thought he had that clothesline scouted there…but Korgath showed him that you can’t always trust your instincts when you are stuck in the ring with the big man!” Judge remarks as Spike makes it back to his feet, only to be pulled even higher up by Korgath before being flipped sideways in the air and dropped down across the knee of the Decay founder, causing more pain to shoot through his body. Korgath looks at the laid out bodies of both Spike Jenkins and Alan Clark and moves toward Clark, pulling him off the ground. Korgath takes a moment to look into Clark’s eyes before he whips him toward the ropes, but Clark catches himself on the top rope and ducks down and out of the grip of Korgath…rushing to the other side of the ring. Korgath turns back around to face the ring, only to see that both Clark and Spike have made their way to their feet and are coming right for him. Spike and Clark both lean backwards and shoot their right legs up… “STEREO SUPERKICKS!” Judge, Annie, and Ejiro all scream as the right feet of both men connect with the chin of Dominic Korgath, causing him to roll backwards over the top rope and fall to the ground! “DOMONIC KORGATH HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!” Annie continues her rant as Spike and Alan regain their balance and stare at each other for a moment as Sexton tries to tell the unhappy Dominic Korgath that he has been eliminated from the match. Korgath rears back and shoves Sexton down as he walks away from the ringside area as the crowd cheers the elimination of the Big Demon. Back in the ring, Clark and Jenkins are still staring at each other…but smiles are slowly forming on the faces of both men. Jenkins sticks out his hand for a handshake, and Clark readily accepts. Jenkins smiles and shakes the Happiest Hand on Earth… …then pulls Alan in and clotheslines him down hard! “Yes!” Judge and Ejiro scream out as Clark hits the canvas. Spike looks into the closest camera and smiles as the crowd’s cheers turn to boos for Hollywood. Spike pulls Clark off the mat and tilts his body backwards, hooking in a reverse facelock before dropping to the mat…Alan’s body slamming off the mat from the DDT. “Picture perfect DDT from Spike Jenkins there! He could win this thing!” Ejiro comments as Spike hooks the leg of Alan and goes for the pin… ONE… TWO…. THREEENOOOOOOOOO!!! “…Or not…” Annie finishes. Alan Clark kicks out just before the three count and rolls to his stomach, trying to get to his feet as fast as he can, but Spike is up to his feet a bit quicker and connects with two hard kicks to the chest of Alan. Spike steps back and goes for a hard kick to the side of Clark’s head, but Clark ducks back out of the way and sweeps his leg around and knocks Spike off his feet and down to the mat. “Academic legsweep could turn the tide in Clark’s direction…but this match is starting to take it’s toll on both men…” Annie remarks as Clark holds his chest a bit in pain and gets back to his feet. Alan looks down at Spike and rushes back against the ropes and bounces back… …but Spike kips up! “SNAP SPINEBUSTER!” Ejiro screams as Clark’s body crashes to the mat and Spike rolls on top for another pin attempt…. ONE… TWO…. THREENOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Alan’s shoulder flies off the mat just as Kivell’s hand hits the mat, and as Spike rolls off Clark the cameraman sees a frustrated look on Spike’s face. Spike gets up and yells inaudibly at Kivell before pulling the weakened Clark off the mat and dragging him into the corner. “What is he doing now?” Annie asks as Spike lifts Clark up and sets him on the top rope, then follows up to the second rope and hooks Clark in a front facelock. “Spike Jenkins is going for a superplex! This could be over for Clark right here!” Judge almost marks out as Spike tries to pull Clark up… BLOCKED BY CLARK! Spike throws a forearm into Alan’s back and tries again… BLOCKED AGAIN! Clark breaks the facelock and hooks one of his own on Jenkins before leaping out and spinning around…falling to the mat backfirst and bringing Spike down with him…Jenkins’ head bouncing violently off the canvas like a railroad spike! “TORNADO DDT FROM CLARK! SPIKE COULD BE OUT COLD!” Annie yells into her headset as Spike crashes to the mat. Clark lays motionless for a moment… …before kipping up himself! Alan pops to his feet and spins around wildly as the camera sees the smile on his face. “He’s fighting through the pain!” Annie continues as Clark stops his wild spin and looks down at Spike. A close-up shows Clark winking toward the camera as he leans down and spreads the legs of Spike wide open…. “Uhmmmmm…” is all the announcers can say as Clark goes to the corner and climbs to the top rope. Clark signals out to the crowd that he is going to be flipping. And after a moment to steady himself Alan springs off the top… …as he reaches the apex of his jump Clark begins to roll backwards quickly… …and completes a full turn! …Clark falls towards the mat and pushes both legs out in front of him… …and connects with a maniacal Shooting Star Legdrop!!! “That shot connected right between Hollywood and Vine there!” Annie laughs out loud as Spike rolls around in pain, holding his crotch in pain as Clark stands back up and smiles into the camera again. “That should be completely against Disney policy!” Ejiro remarks as Clark pulls the ‘stunned’ Spike off the mat and steadies him upright before dropping back and bouncing off the ropes…returning and leaping through the air…grabbing Spike’s head and driving it to the mat with a bulldog. Alan is back to his feet quicker now and sees that Spike is still down. Alan rushes to the ropes and leaps into the air, springboarding off the second rope and flipping backwards through the air and connecting across Spike’s back! “More pain just scorching through Spike’s back!” Judge comments reluctantly as Clark gets back up and stands over the body of Spike Jenkins. “He’s not…going for the pin…” Ejiro seems frightened as the smile on Clark’s face gets bigger and bigger. Alan Clark rolls Spike over to his back and crosses his legs. Clark reaches down and pulls Spike’s body up and upside down, looking as if to go for a catapult…. “Oh no…he’s not going to…” Judge can barely speak and the crowd grows silent as Alan places his feet across the arms of Spike and leans down, grabbing him around the head… “HE IS!” Annie cries out as Clark rolls backwards onto his back…causing Spike’s back to bend forward and push his neck down toward the mat. “He’s taking Spike on a trip to EPSOT!” Annie cheers as the crowd begins to chant… “TAP!” “TAP!” “TAP!” “HOLD ON SPIKE!” Judge and Ejiro sceam out in unison… …but the chants do not last long as the pain is just to much for Spike… SPIKE JENKINS TAPS OUT~! The parking lot explodes in cheers as Alan lets go off the hold and Spike rolls to the outside, clutching his back in pain. Sexton checks on Jenkins as Clark makes his way to his feet and Kivell raises his hand in victory…signalling for Funyon to make the official announcement… “Ladies and Gentlemen…the winner of this match…the Happiest Guy On Earth… ALLLLLLLAAAAAANNNNNNN CCCCCLLLLLLLAAAAARRRRRRRRKKK~!” The crowd goes louder as Clark climbs out of the ring and walks into the throngs of fans, slapping palms and shaking hands with everyone he comes across as Judge and Ejiro look on in disbelief. “Well…Alan Clark gets his second win in a row here tonight on this special edition of SJL Metal…and you know Commissioner Raynor has to be watching from somewhere!” “I can’t believe he won again…” Ejiro sulks a bit and Annie has to comfort him once again. “We’ll be right back, fans” is all Judge can say as Metal cuts to commercial.

    SJL METAL 11/18/03

Returning from a commercial break, spotlights shine brightly on the center of the parking lot at the St. Pete Times Forum. As the ring is being wiped down by ring attendants, and fans mill around hot dog carts, the SJL cameras swing into a secluded corner of the parking lot. Back to a chain-link fence, and flanked by a pair of security guards, sits SJL commissioner Chris Raynor. Sitting at a makeshift desk, going over paperwork and glancing at a TV monitor, the top ranking SJL official looks absurdly out of place in the concrete jungle. As Raynor drops his pen and closes a manila folder, a screech of tires is heard and a jet black Lincoln Navigator jams to a stop just yards in front of the make-shift office. Raynor: What the… Headlights on and the engine running, the driver and passenger doors swing open, revealing Megan Skye and Todd Royal as the vehicle’s occupants. Royal’s leg is taped, and a towel is draped over his shoulder, but the number one competitor makes a beeline for the Commissioner, a look of rage in his eyes. Raynor: You know, we make appointmen… Royal: Shut up. I’m talking. I’m above appointments, I’m above ninjas in felt and I’m SURE as hell above wrestling in parking lots for retirees too cheap to pay for a REAL wrestling company. Raynor: There IS a reason we’re doing this show… Royal: Look. I don’t need your reasons, or your explanations, or your excuses. I’m sick and Todd Damn tired of the way I’m being disrespected around here. I go on a little sabbatical to relax and bask in the glory of Todd, and what do I come back to? A parade for Alan Clark. ALAN CLARK. Need I remind you that I BEAT Alan Clark on my first day in this company. Cleanly. Decisively. I long ago proved I’m better than that freak…Hell…If Alan Clark deserves a parade, I deserve a freakin’ festival! As Raynor looks on incredulously from behind his desk, Todd whips the towel off and throws it to the ground. Rage roaring in his eyes, Royal continues to rant. Royal: C’mon Raynor, you better get your priorities straight. I don’t deserve to be playing second fiddle to some idiot on too much happy pills. I deserve to be maineventing stadiums around the world, not wrestling in some alleyway against a guy who doesn’t realize Halloween was over a month ago. I AM the man who puts food on your table. I AM the reason people shell out their cash to see this pathetic company. I AM This pathetic organization and I demand to be treated like it. Now incensed himself, Chris Raynor pushes away from his desk and gets to his feet. Raising his hand, the former star begins to respond, only to be cut off by the man he is confronting. Royal: NO! I’m THROUGH with sitting back and listening to what you have to say. It’s time for this company to revolve around Todd Royal. You of all people know how valuable I am to this company. You CAN’T afford to piss me off. So what I’m asking- what I’m DEMANDING- is to be treated like the superior I am. Next time I wrestle for this company, I want an entrance that blows Alan Clark’s out of the water. I want a bigger budget. Better Effects. Louder Music. The day that schizophrenic reject deserves more attention than me is a LONG way off. Frustrated and flustered, Raynor just sighs, throwing up his hands and sinking back into this seat. As the commissioner shakes his head in disbelief, Royal and Skye climb back into their SUV. Rolling away from the scene, Todd’s head briefly pops out of the window, a smirk across his face. Royal: And that’s the Todd’s honest truth, so ya better believe it.

    SJL METAL 11/18/03

Coming back from a commercial break, the sun going down over Tampa welcomes us back to SJL Metal. The camera slowly zooms in on the St. Pete Times Forum, panning to the marquee before quickly spinning into the parking lot, where a crowd of rowdy Floridians stand surrounding an SJL ring. As the mob jumps and chants, the camera switches to a view of the SJL commentary team. Judge: Welcome back to Florida! We’re outside the Ice Palace in Tampa, with a special “back to nature” edition of SJL Metal! Ejiro: We’re in the parking lot for one of the wildest nights of wrestling you’ll ever see. We’ve already seen a debut tonight, and later on these cheap-ass comp fans will provide the weapons for Aecas and Landon Maddix. Up next however, The Unknown Warrior emerges from the shadows to take on the #1 contender, Todd Royal. The fans in attendance begin to settle down as the voice of the SJL makes his way into the ring again. Stepping between the ropes, Funyon adjusts his suit coat and brings the microphone to his lips. Funyon: Ladies and Gentlemen…the following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a thirty minute time limit… The crowd begins to turn as one, focusing their attention on the makeshift entrance-way, as a dark figure makes his way to the ring. As the camera zooms in, we see the shrouded figure of the Unknown Warrior. His face covered, and his scarred eye’s staring straight ahead, the mystery man slowly stalks towards the ring. Funyon Making his way to the ring…from Calgary, Alberta…weighing in at two hundred and twenty seven pounds…he is the UNKOWN WARRIOR!!! As the Warrior steps slowly and methodically to the ring, the fans get to their feet. A faction of the crowd begins to boo, raining jeers on the masked grappler, while the remainder of the fans stand and applaud, cheering the Warrior simply because of his opponent. Ignoring all of the reactions, the man in black simply slides into the ring and backs himself into the corner. Judge: The Warrior matches up very well with Todd Royal. He has a slight height advantage, but the two are fairly even in the weight department. Both Todd and the Warrior are proficient in the ground game as well, so expect a good solid technical match tonight. Suddenly, from across the parking lot, a lone spotlight flashes in, illuminating the entrance way. From the PA system, the soft sounds of a church choir are heard, faintly praising as one. As the crowd begins to boo, the speakers explode with the opening chords of Motley Crue’s “Livewire”. From the entrance way, Megan Skye steps into the parking lot, a small leather jacket over her hot pink “TODDESS” shirt. Pointing through the curtain, she proclaims the arrival of Todd Royal, dressed in sunglasses and a “YOUR LORD, TODD” vest. Funyon: And his opponent…accompanied to the ring by Megan Skye and weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds…from San Diego, California…TODD ROYAL!!! Turning his nose to the jeering fans, Royal stops briefly to towel down and remove his vest. Shunning the outstretched hands of a few young fans, Todd and Megan saunter to the ring. As Skye holds open the ropes, Todd slips into the ring, patting his waist and pointing to himself. As the fans settle down, referee Anthony Michael Hall moves in to check the competitors. Annie: Royal’s coming off a hiatus after an injury, and his first match back was an unorthodox Quadruple Domination match. This is his first straight wrestling match in over a month, and it maybe interesting to see if Todd has any rust. Judge: Also, like most people, Royal doesn’t exactly know what he’s getting into here with the Warrior. There’s very little tape available on this guy, and if Todd sleeps on him we could be in for a huge upset. *DING* *DING* *DING* As the timekeeper rings the bell, and Anthony Michael Hall backs into the corner, the two competitors converge on the center of the ring, staring each other down. Wringing his wrists, Royal extends his arms, offering a lock-up to his opponent. The Warrior charges ahead, grabbing Todd’s left arm and spinning behind him, locking on a hammerlock. Annie: Warrior going right after Royal, showing Todd that he’s more than willing to play the catch-as-catch-can game. Royal grimaces in frustration at his opponent making the first move, reaching behind his back and over his shoulder to try and break the hold. Turned back at each opportunity, Todd changes his strategy, ducking down and reaching between his leg, grasping his opponent’s left foot. With a quick jerking motion, Royal pulls upwards, taking the Warrior down. Capitalizing quickly, Todd sits down, locking his opponent’s knee and pulling up to try and score a quick submission. With one leg free, however, the Unknown Warrior plants his heel in the small of Royal’s back and pushes forward. As Todd spills forward onto the canvas, the Warrior spins to meet him, floating over and grinding Royal’s face into the mat with a headlock. An audible groan escapes from Royal as he struggles to reposition his body in the hold. Turned now on his side, Todd swings his legs up, hooking his opponent in a head scissors. The Warrior surprises him however, breaking the headlock and grabbing Todd’s ankle, spinning out into a leglock. Judge: NICE work there by the Unknown Warrior. Royal tried to counter the headlock with a head scissors, but Warrior had a counter for it, spinning Todd to the mat and re-taking control. Annie: Royal’s going to have to get more creative with his counters to beat the Warrior. The mysterious competitor seems to have a counter to every common counter out there. Todd’s going to have to bust out something big to get the momentum back. Ejiro: Oh, don’t worry. Royal’s just scraping the surface. Soon ninja-boy will feel the full impact of the Wisdom of Todd. With the man in black wrapped tightly around his left leg, Royal squirms on the canvas. Lifting his right leg into the air, Todd brings it down repeatedly on his opponent’s knee, trying to break the hold with strikes. The Warrior noticeably recoils on impact, but doesn’t break the hold, instead spinning over himself and rolling along the mat- taking Todd along for the ride. As Megan throws a fit on the outside, Royal grabs desperately at the bottom rope, causing Anthony Michael Hall to break the hold. As the Warrior springs to his feet, the crowd comes alive- a noticeably larger portion cheering him now. Annie: Looks like some of the parking lot crowd here in Tampa getting behind the Unknown Warrior now, as he takes it to Todd Royal. Todd just got out wrestled there, having to go to the ropes to break the hold. Ejiro: All that blood loss over the years must have affected you in the head. Todd didn’t HAVE to go to the ropes, he CHOSE to. Royal doesn’t need to expend energy on this idiot with a world title match coming up. Breaking the hold was the SMART thing to do. After taking a few seconds to towel off, Royal steps back into the center of the ring to meet his opponent. Cracking his neck and rubbing his knee, Royal again extends his hands to offer a lockup. When the Warrior steps forward, however, Royal spins out of the way, grabbing the masked man’s arm on the way by. As the Warrior stumbles forward, Todd spins up behind him, wrenching on a hammerlock. With a grin across his face, Royal lets out a loud “whoooooo!!!” drawing boos from the crowd in attendance. Judge: Good strategy there by Todd. He knew the Warrior was likely to try for a move out of that lock-up and switched things up, grabbing a hammerlock of his own. Royal’s definitely not taking the Warrior lightly anymore. Annie: Yeah, well he better not take time to celebrate after every hold. That won’t win the match. Ejiro: That’s a former and future World Champion there, I wouldn’t question his tactics… As usual, Fasaki’s opinions come back to bite him as he hasn’t even finished a thought before the Warrior spins out of the hammerlock. As Todd’s eyes widen, the Warrior spins behind him, briefly hooking a waistlock before reaching up and hooking Royal around the neck. The crowd pops as the man in black pulls downward, bridging his opponent and locking on a standing Dragon Sleeper. Annie: You were saying? Ejiro: … With the Warrior wrenching back on the hold, Todd tries desperately to spin away. The Unknown Warrior plants his feet, however, refusing to release the hold. As Megan screams from ringside, Todd drops backwards, kicking up his feet and drilling his opponent across the face with a bicycle kick, breaking the hold and sending the Warrior crashing to the mat. “OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” As the Warrior slams to the canvas, Royal continues backwards, falling down on top of him. Before the Warrior can make a move, Todd spins to his opponent’s legs, grabbing the left ankle and pulling the masked man off the canvas. Planting his own foot against the inside of his opponent’s knee, Royal falls to the mat, using his boot as leverage to work the knee. Judge: Brutal kick there by Royal to break the hold, and then quickly strings it into a submission hold. Todd’s working over the knee of the Unknown Warrior, perhaps to set up for the Wrath of Todd, and perhaps to take away the Warrior’s Indian Deathlock hold. Ejiro: Or perhaps BOTH! Todd’s multitasking in there, baby! Laying prone on the mat, the Warrior closes his eyes in pain. Summoning his strength, the masked man plants his palms on the mat and pushes up, twisting his body and trying to toss his opponent off the hold. Royal spins to the canvas, releasing the hold, but comes up still holding the Warrior’s ankle. As the crowd reacts in surprise and disappointment, Todd rolls back to his feet, jerking his opponent’s limb with him. Scowling and spitting on the back of the Warrior, Royal plants his foot again in the back of the masked man’s knee. With another pronounced “Whoooooo!” Todd lifts the Warrior’s leg in the air, preparing to slam it into the mat with a knee cracker… Ejiro: NICE work there by Todd! Warrior tried to toss him off, but Todd held on, showing that costumed moron who’s boss in the ring. …as the Warrior is lifted into the air, however, he spins away, sweeping out Todd’s legs and dropping Royal to the mat. Annie: Yeah, really showed him there!! As an increasingly larger section of the crowd erupts in cheers, Todd Royal collides face-first with the mat, immediately clutching his face in pain. The Warrior wastes no time in capitalizing, however, immediately clutching Todd’s left leg. Driving his elbow into the back of Royal’s knee, the man in black pulls the leg up at the ankle, locking his hands and pulling back- wrenching the joint painfully backwards. Clutching at his hair, Todd slams his fist down into the mat in a combination of pain and frustration. With the fans taunting him from ringside, and his opponent working over his leg, Royal growls as he tries to break the hold. Judge: The frustration really showing on the face of Royal now. He was in the driver’s seat briefly, but once again the momentum has shifted back to the Warrior. Annie: Todd’s not used to being matched hold-for-hold on the mat, and I don’t know if he has a strategy to combat someone like the Unknown Warrior. Kicking wildly with his free leg, Todd makes is obvious that his strategy is just to beat his opponent off the hold. The mysterious man breaks the hold, but only to switch positions, grapevining Royal’s leg and falling backwards, laying next to Todd on the mat with an Stepover toehold. As the referee drops to the mat to ask for the submission, a frustrated Royal shoves him away. The official reprimands the number one contender, but Todd just scowls, concentrating his energy on breaking the hold. As the pain builds in Royal’s leg, the Warrior pushes himself off the canvas, crashing back down and torquing the submission hold- forcing Todd to grab the middle rope in desperation. “WAR-RI-OR!” “WAR-RI-OR!” “WAR-RI-OR!” As the Warrior gets to his feet- quickly, but slowed noticeably by his left knee- the crowd erupts, cheering as a whole for the first time. On the mat, Todd Royal grimaces in pain, holding his knee in pain as Megan wipes him down. Annie: That’s TWICE now that Royal’s been outwrestled and out-maneuvered to the point of having to use the ropes to break. The literally has Todd on the ropes, and a win here could put the Warrior firmly in line for a title shot. Ejiro: Yeah, well I wouldn’t worry about that if I were you. Todd’s simply scouting the Warrior right now. After those sequences, he’s obviously gathered enough information, and now he can REALLY start to go to work. Obviously favoring his left leg, and scowling deeply, Todd gets to his feet again and stares at his opponent. Staring back just as intensely, however, it’s the Warrior who makes the first move this time. Stalking forward, the Warrior sets his sights on taking Todd down again. Instead of offering a lockup this time, however, Royal steps forward, kicking up his leg and blasting his opponent across the face with a shin strike. Wincing in pain, the Warrior staggers, stepping back and holding his head in pain. As the crowd recoils as well, reacting to the blow, Todd steps forward again, letting loose another strike to the head. Judge: Definitely a change in strategy now by Todd Royal. Unable to sustain an advantage on the mat, he’s decided to wear the Warrior down with stiff blows to the head. Ejiro: “Unable”. Unable my ass. Royal’s simply changed strategies in order to give these people a demonstration of the FULL range of his abilities!! As Todd steps in again and prepares to deliver a third blow, he’s rocked by a spinning kick to the ribs. Doubling over and backing off, Royal curses angrily as the Warrior braces himself after the kick. The crowd pops as the man in black coils up for another kick, but quickly deflates as Royal blocks the move. Pushing his opponent’s leg away from him and spinning him around, Todd decks the Warrior with a shin strike to the sternum. With Megan cheering him on, Todd spins around, preparing to unload a roundhouse. The Warrior, seeing the move coming however, ducks the blow and prepares to fire off a kick of his own. As Royal spins back around, the two men simultaneously fire off shots- their legs colliding at the knee. *CRACK* “AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Annie: Oh!! Both men tried for a kick at the same time and just collided with each other! Judge: And it was the worn down left knee of both men that absorbed the impact. You can’t imagine how much a blow like that reverberates and sends pain throughout the entire body. Both men have to be hurting right now. And indeed, both competitors stand in the center of the ring, doubled over in pain. As the crowd buzzes, looking on intently, a pissed off Todd Royal is the first to make a move. Cursing and screaming, Royal lunges forward, driving his shoulder into his opponent’s gut and sweeping out the legs, dropping the Warrior hard to the mat. Ejiro: SPEAR!! As the men crash to the canvas, Royal unloads a barrage of forearm shots to the shrouded head of the Unknown Warrior. Waving Hall off of him, Todd peels his opponent off the mat and hooks his arm over the Warrior’s hooded head. Reaching down and hooking his opponent’s leg, Todd braces himself before lunging backwards, driving the man in black’s spine into the canvas and bridging for the cover. ONE!… TWO!!… THR….NO!!! Ejiro: Ack! I thought he had him there! Todd was inches away from victory!! Annie: Refusing to give-up, though, the Unknown Warrior kicks out just before the count of three!! Judge: You almost have to wonder though. With the way Royal was favoring that leg, did the Warrior kick out at two? Or could Todd simply not hold the bridge any longer?! If the latter is indeed the case, Royal does his best to hide the pain, rolling out of the hold and climbing to his feet. Planting a series of boots to the skull of his opponent, the number one contender raises the Warrior off the mat again. As the crowd lets him have it, Todd grasps the Warrior in a standing head scissors, pulling his thumb across his throat to signal his intent to finish his opponent off. Ejiro: This is it! Royal’s gonna plant that “Scream” reject right into the mat, and end all your crazy talk about weaknesses. Praise Todd!! Before Royal can attempt any sort of move, however, the Unknown Warrior fires back to life. Pulling his head out from between his opponent’s legs, the Warrior wraps his arms around Royal’s waist. Planting his feet and charging forward, the Warrior unleashes a cry as he drives Todd’s spine hard into the turnbuckles, sending the air from Royal’s lungs and bringing the outdoor crowd to their feet. Annie: GOAR!! Backing out of the corner, the Warrior leaves his opponent draped weakly over the top rope. Halfway across the ring, the masked man pauses briefly to rub his left knee before raising his arm into the air, drawing cheers from the Tampa fans. Judge: The Warrior looking to get the advantage back on his side, what’s he going to pull out here?! Charging forward and driving his shoulder into Royal’s gut, the Unkown Warrior flips off his feet, somersaulting up his opponent and landing in a sitting position atop Todd’s shoulders. Twirling his hands around each other, the Warrior signals for a huracanrana. Before he can snap back, however, Royal spins out of the corner, falling forward and dropping his opponent across the turnbuckle with a modified power bomb. Judge: OH! Ejiro: What is he going to do?! He’s gonna make an ass out of himself, THAT’s what he’s gonna do! Todd Almighty!! “ROYAL SUCKS!” “ROYAL SUCKS!” As the crowd expresses their hatred for the number one contender, Royal cracks a grin for the first time in a while. With his opponent draped over the top turnbuckle, Todd grabs hold of the Warrior’s left leg, sliding it between the top and middle ropes. Backing up along the adjacent cables, Royal takes a deep breath and charges, driving the side of his boot into the joint, following through and eliciting a yelp of pain from the man in black. Annie: OH! Judge: Bootscrape! Todd hit’s a bit of an unorthodox move, using the bootscrape to take out the Unknown Warrior’s knee. Annie: A move like that is liable to separate the kneecap right from the rest of the leg. As the fans flinch in shared pain, Royal steps back and charges in again, hitting a second stiff bootscrape to the knee. As the second blow connects, the Warrior slides out of the corner, hitting the canvas and holding his knee in pain. His smirk widening into a smile, Royal nods and drags the Warrior to his feet. Sliding behind his masked opponent and hooking his head under the Warrior’s arm, Royal hooks the injured left knee and lifts his opponent into the air. Spinning the Unknown Warrior around and slamming him to the mat, Todd calls Anthony Michael Hall over to make the cover. Ejiro: Blue Thunder Bomb!! ONE!… TWO!!… THR… EEEE….KICKOUT! “YEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” Annie: Another big high impact move by Todd Royal, and another last second kickout by the Unkown Warrior. Its going to takes something big to put this guy away!! Shoving the Warrior off of him, Royal crawls to his feet and lets out a cry of “That’s IT!” The fans respond with boos, but Todd just scowls and grabs the Warrior by the back of his mask. Pulling his mysterious opponent off the canvas, Royal hook’s the Warrior in a standing front chancery. Grabbing a handful of tights, Todd stomps on the mat and reels back, bringing the Warrior quickly up and over and jamming him to the canvas. Judge: Snap Suplex… Pausing for only a moment to catch his breath and work his knee back and forth, Royal rolls his hips and gets back to his feet. Planting his feet again, Todd uses the Warrior’s tights to lift him high into the air again. Slowly arcing the Warrior over his head, Royal crashes hard to the mat, slamming his opponent into the canvas again. Judge: Vertical Suplex… The booing increases as Royal rolls his hips for a second time and regains his footing again. Pausing to regroup and catch his breath, Royal grabs the Warrior and lifts him high into the air for a third time. Pausing halfway over, Todd holds his opponent perpendicular to the canvas, grimacing as he stalls the impact. Judge: Delayed Suplex… Ejiro: TRINITY!!! Just before dropping the Warrior to the mat to finish the suplex series, however, Todd gasps as his knee gives out. The crowd pops as Royal buckles and doubles over, swinging the Unknown Warrior back towards the mat. As Royal crashes to the mat, the alert Warrior spins his body weight, crashing down on top of him. The crowd erupts, getting to their feet as hall drops down to make the count. ONE!… TWO!!… THR… EEEE… THREE!!….NO!! “OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Annie: So close!! Royal’s knee was too weak to finish the Trinity, and the Unknown Warrior came down on top of him for a 2 count! That was almost it! Ejiro: Come on Todd! Strike him down with the hand of Todd!! “WAR-RI-OR!” “WAR-RI-OR!” “WAR-RI-OR!” On the outside, Megan Skye’s screams can be heard, even over the chants of the crowd, urging Royal to get to his feet. On the mat, however, Todd is writhing in pain, grasping at his knee-unable to get his footing. With a renewed rush of adrenaline, the Warrior climbs off the mat, shaking the pain from his own knee as he pulls his opponent up after him. With pain coursing through his knee, Todd -even on his feet- is doubled over in agony. Failing to raise his opponent fully, the Warrior turns around, kicking out his leg and drilling Royal with a hooking heel kick. Todd’s head snaps up, but the Warrior holds on, keeping his leg wrapped around his opponent’s neck. Royal jerks back towards the canvas as the Warrior leaps into the air, crashing to the mat in a reverse Rocker Dropper. Annie: BLACKOUT! The Blackout by the Unkown Warrior! That could be it!!! Judge: Not so fast! The Warrior jammed his knee into the canvas there! He could be in as much pain as Royal!! Indeed, the sounds of pain from inside the ring come not from the dazed Royal, but from the masked man in black. Clutching his knee and cursing under his breath, the Warrior makes no effort to cover his opponent. As the shocked crowd watches on, buzzing in anticipation, the Warrior crawls over, sliding to Todd’s feet. Instead of turning Royal over for the pin, however, the Unkown Warrior crosses Todd’s right leg over his left, placing the number one contender’s ankle inside his injured knee. Grapevining the left leg, the Warrior drops to his back, torquing the knee with a brutal submission hold. Judge: That’s that modified Indian Deathlock by Unknown Warrior! He’s been working the knee all match to set that up! This could be the end of Royal! Ejiro: NOOOOOO!!! Raise up Todd! Raise up!! As the fans stand and cheer, Royal refuses to submit, despite the tears welling in his eyes. Hall steps close to ask again, and Todd’s hand lifts off the mat, increasing the decibel level of the cheers. Before his hand can crash down, however, the Warrior abruptly breaks the hold, grabbing at his own knee and slamming the mat in pain. Ejiro: YEEESSSSS!!!!! Royal used the Will of Todd to break the hold!! Annie: I think the constant pressure was just too much for the Warrior’s injured knee to take! He couldn’t keep the hold locked in! As the shocked crowd retreats into silence, Royal crawls to his hands and knees. Crawling over to his weakened opponent, Todd grapevines the Warrior’s right leg, folding it over and bracing it across the injured left knee. Wincing in the pain of his own injury, Todd drops back, locking on the Figure 4. Judge: Wrath of Todd!! Ejiro: That’s it!! NO ONE escapes the Wrath of Todd!! Warrior’s cooked! Annie: But the Warrior couldn’t keep his hold in! Will Royal be able to hold on long enough?!? As both men scream in pain, the answer to Annie’s question becomes clear. The Unknown Warrior, unwilling or unable to submit, uses the last remaining strength in his body to turn over, reversing the hold. “YEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!” As the crowd erupts, Royal yelps and quickly breaks the hold. On commentary, Ejiro urges him to cover, but a determined Todd turns his opponent over, re-grapevining the leg and dropping back into the Wrath of Todd. Ejiro: What is he doing?! Judge: Royal’s got too much pride to go for the pin. Since the beginning of the match, he’s been trying to prove he was the better submission wrestler. He’s DEAD set on getting a tapout! As the crowd cheers and claps for the Warrior, the man in black inches towards the ropes. The faces of both competitors are strained in agony as Anthony Michael Hall diligently asks for a submission. Just as it seems either man may pass out from the pain, the gloved hand of the Warrior comes down across the bottom rope, breaking the hold and popping the crowd. Annie: NO! Warrior breaks the hold! Agonized, beaten and limping, Todd Royal pulls himself to his feet. Tearing the Warrior off the ropes, Royal pulls him close and weaves his arms through his opponent’s locking on a full nelson. Snapping back, Todd drills the Warrior with a brutal dragon suplex. He holds the bridge for only second however, clutching his knee as he floats into the cover. ONE!… TWO!!… THR… EEEEEE…. THREE!!…THREE!! *DING* *DING* *DING* Ejiro: Todd Bless!! Annie: Royal escapes with a victory, but certainly not in the way he wanted! Judge: A win’s a win, however, and Royal will take a two match win streak into his bout with either Aecas or Landon Maddix. Safe to say, however, the next time Royal and the Warrior go one-on-one, Todd’s got something to prove! Up next, however, Alan Clarke, Spike Jenkins, Manson, Korgath! It’ll be a wild one!!!
