Jamal Mashburn has officially retired after being waived by the Sixers earlier this week. Shame, the guy was really starting to become one of the elite players in the league when he began having his knee problems, which forced him to the sidelines for the last two full seasons. The year he finally made an All-Star team, he was perhaps as good as any SF in the league on his best night.

Got tickets to IND-PHX next Thursday. Reggie Miller will have his number retired at halftime.

Jermaine O'Neal returned for the Pacers last night. He had a bad shooting night, but we got the win over the Bulls. Just waiting on Austin Croshere now and our full roster will be active for the first time in two years.

Another whip in, and TK comes in and bowls Reject over with a shoulderblock! Reject lands right at the side of the ropes, and immediately reaches over and tags Knight. COLE And quick to get out of the ring, as well! Knight enters the ring, and then thumbs TK when he goes for a tieup. Knight measures TK, then attempts a big right hand, but TK ducks and delivers a big atomic drop! Knight stumbles over to Alf, who delivers a right hand! Knight bounces back over to TK who follows with a right hand! Another right from Alf, and Knight goes down as the crowd goes crazy! CABOOSE Listen to the crowd here! TK makes his way over to Reject, who promptly hops off the apron. He then whips PK into the ropes, backs off on the opposite sides, and meets him in mid-ring with a clothesline! Alf tags in, and he and TK whip PK into the ropes and take him down with a double elbow! Alf and TK position themselves, and Alf hits a standing moonsault as TK hits a legdrop simultaneously! COLE Great continuity on the part of Alf and TK, and none thus far on the other side, Coach! COACH Hey, it's early! Give it some time! CABOOSE Well, a lot of matches END early, too. Alf delivers a snap suplex to Knight! Cover... 1... 2... Kickout! Alf tags TK back in, who comes off the top with a double axhandle as Alf holds him. TK follows with a standing kneedrop, and covers... 1... 2... Kickout! TK picks up Knight, and delivers a fallaway slam! TK goes into the ropes, but when he does, Reject plants a knee to the back! Knight slowly gets to his feet, and hits TK with a vertical suplex! Cover... 1... 2... Kickout! PK tags Reject in. COLE And NOW Reject will get in, with TK on his back! COACH Well, why would he tag in with someone who's on their feet and on a roll? Reject picks up TK, and delivers a fisherman's buster! He follows up with a snap legdrop, then drags TK next to the ropes and hits him with ROLLING THUNDER~! Cover... 1... 2... Shoulder up! Reject delivers a standing front powerslam to TK, then turns himself around and hooks him with a triangle hold! CABOOSE Submission applied! Reject cranks down on the neck, as TK fades slowly. Reject reaches back and grabs the ropes with his hands for extra leverage. COLE And Reject holding onto the ropes now, come on, referee! Reject releases the ropes as the referee looks up. The referee questions him, and Reject shakes his head as Knight tells the referee to get back down and check TK. The referee checks again, as Reject slowly reaches up again and grabs the ropes. This time, Alf runs across the apron, reaches in and rakes Reject's eyes! As the referee puts Alf out, Knight climbs in and drives knees to the misection of TK. CABOOSE Well, Alf caused a break in the hold, but it's allowing a double-team right now! COACH Yeah, now you're seeing some continuity! Cole said these guys didn't have any continuity, but now that some time has passed in the match, they're getting a chance to show it right now! Knight drops an elbow on TK, then hooks him in a sleeper on the mat. The referee wlks over to Reject, who puts his hands in the air and makes a clapping sound to signify that a tag was made. COLE Well, Reject explaining to the referee that a tag was made, but we all saw here that that was not the case. COACH I saw them tag, Cole! We must not be watching the same match. Knight releases the sleeper and drives knees into the back to TK. He picks TK up, and whips him into the corner, following him in with a clothesline! He follows with a gutwrench suplex, and covers... 1... 2... Shoulder up! Knight picks up TK, and delivers a BUTTERFLY BOMB~! He then picks up the legs, looking out to the crowd as they send him boos. COACH Uh oh, here comes the Ace in the Hole, Cole! This is it if he completes it! Knight does in fact turn the hold over and complete it, but Alf immediately comes in and knees Knight in the back to break it up. COACH And look at that cheap shot by Alf! CABOOSE Well, how about that knee to the back by Reject earlier? Turnabout is fair play. The referee puts Alf out, and Reject once again comes in illegally, and he and Knight whip TK into the ropes. TK ducks a double clothesline and hits one of his own! COLE And now TK with a chance to tag! TK struggles over to his corner, as Reject reaches and grabs the leg. TK pushes himself up with his hand, and leaps over for the tag! COLE TAG MADE, and Alf in there now! Alf hammers away on Reject, and hits a Hart Attack clothesline! Reject rolls into a corner, and Alf follows him in, and lays in punches as the crowd counts along! 1!!! 2!!! 3!!! 4!!! 5!!! 6!!! 7!!! 8!!! 9!!! 10!!! Alf catches PK with a superkick, sending him out to the floor! He then catches Reject with an overhead belly-to-belly! Cover... 1... 2... NO! Kickout! Reject rolls into a corner once again, and Alf charges, but this time Reject picks his feet up and Alf runs into them! Reject rolls over to his corner, and tags in Knight. COLE And here we go, a preview of the main event of AngleMania right here! COACH You're damn right it's a preview, as you can see, Alf flat on his back right now! Knight chokes Alf with his boot as Alf lays in the corner. He then pulls Alf out and begins the KNIGHT ROLL~! COACH Suplex, and another one to follow! Knight delivers another suplex, then rolls through and holds him in mid-air, then delivers a Falcon Arrow! Cover... 1... 2... NO! Shoulder up! COLE And Alf BARELY getting the shoulder up there! Reject counters into a drop toehold, but TK quickly moves around on top and hooks an armbar, slapping Reject in the back of the head as he has it on! COACH Oh, look at this now! Reject takes a big swing at TK, but TK ducks, then pushes him off the ropes and ends up in a reverse sunset flip! 1... 2... Kickout! TK immediately catches Reject with another armdrag. TK bars the arm, then picks Reject up. Reject scoops TK up, and delivers a bodyslam...but TK holds onto the arm and rolls through! COLE Nice counter by TK, as he maintains the hold! TK picks Reject up once again, and chicken wings the arm. Reject, however, drives an elbow into the face of TK, forcing a release. Reject goes into the ropes, TK drops down, and Reject hops over. TK catches him on the rebound with a PRESS SLAM~! Reject gets up holding his back, and TK dropkicks him over the top to the floor! COLE Reject out to the floor once again, as it's been ALL TK here in the early going! TK goes out after him this time, and throws him back into the ring. Reject immediately goes to the ropes, and comes back with a flying bodypress, but TK catches him in mid-air, then turns around and delivers a fallaway slam! TK picks up Reject and shoots him into the ropes once again. Reject hops over, then ducks a clothesline, then drills TK with a spinning wheel kick! COLE Great move by Reject, and now the tide has turned! Reject runs to the ropes, and hits a baseball slide on TK, sending him out to the floor! Reject plays to the crowd, drawing more boos. CABOOSE A little early for celebration here. COACH Stay on him, Reject! Reject goes to the top rope, then waits for TK to get up, and hits a double axhandle to the outside! Reject then picks up TK and chokes him on the guardrail, before throwing him back into the ring. Reject whips TK hard into the buckles, and as TK staggers out, Reject hits a hurricanrana! Reject allows TK to come up, then sets him up for a suplex...but TK counters into a small package! 1... 2... Kickout! COLE Wow, TK almost snuck one out there! Reject quickly nails TK, then stomps away. Reject picks up TK and whips him into the ropes. TK ducks a clothesline and hits a high cross body! 1... 2... Kickout! TK landed right by the ropes, and is shoved off the apron to the floor on the kickout. Reject gets up and walks over to the ropes, hitting TK with a SOMERSAULT PLANCHA~! COACH Beautiful! Reject delivers a few right hands, then slides back into the ring and does some more preening, to some more boos. He catches TK coming up onto the apron, and attempts a suplex. TK slips behind the back, and attempts a German suplex, but Reject quickly goes behind, then spins TK around and delivers a Northern Lights suplex and bridge! 1... 2... NO! TK kicks out! Reject backs TK into the corner and delivers some kicks to the midsection, then brings him out and whips him into the ropes. TK ducks a clothesline, and hits him with one of his own! COLE And now maybe this is the chance TK needs to regain the advantage! TK leans on the ropes, as Reject comes at him. TK blocks a right hand, and delivers one of his own! Reject tries another one, and it's blocked and returned once again! Reject tries a third, but this time goes to the eyes before TK can return fire. Reject whips TK into the ropes, and attempts a tilt-a-whirl slam, but TK lands on his feet, then flips Reject over, and plants him with a TOMBSTONE~! Both men are out of it, as the referee counts... 1!!! 2!!! 3!!! 4!!! 5!!! 6!!! 7!!! TK slowly rolls over and drapes an arm over Reject... 1... 2... NO! Shoulder up! COACH And look at the fight left in Reject, I love it! Reject quickly rolls out of the ring, and TK climbs to the top rope. He waits for Reject to get to his feet...and comes off the top with a SHOOTING STAR PRESS~! to the floor! CABOOSE Whoa! COLE Unbelieveable move by TK right there! However, TK comes up limping! COACH Uh-oh! COLE TK favoring his knee here, and this is the risk of doing moves like the one TK just did right there! TK and Reject roll back in on opposite sides of the ring. Reject pulls himself up into a corner, and starts working on the turnbuckle pad as the referee checks out TK. Reject tosses the pad to the floor, then walks over to TK and KICKS HIS LEG OUT OF HIS LEG~!!!!1 Reject picks up TK, and gives him a Dragon legwhip, then locks in a figure-four! COLE Figure-four hooked, as Reject continues to work on the injured leg of TK! TK sits up in the hold, and Reject reaches over and slaps him in the face! TK is forced to the mat with the pain, and the referee makes a two-count! Reject slaps TK once again, and TK reaches across and rakes the eyes, causing the hold to be released! Reject picks up TK by the leg, and TK counters with an enziguri! COLE And TK still with fight left! TK limps over and flips, grabbing Reject in a Majistral pin! 1... 2... Kickout! Reject attempts a spinkick, but TK ducks and delivers a Blue Thunder driver! 1... 2... NO! Kickout! TK picks up Reject for a slam, but Reject slides behind the back and shoves TK into the corner, but TK stops himself before running into the exposed buckle. Reject lunges at TK, who moves as Reject goes flying into the exposed buckle! Fortunately for Reject, however, he doesn't bounce backwards into the center, but rather stays in the corner. CABOOSE Wow, big break for Reject right there! Reject rolls to the apron once he gets his senses, and TK reaches over and pulls him up to his feet. TK hammers with forearm blows until the referee backs him off, and Reject goes into his tights. COLE Wait a minute here, what's he looking for, Coach? Reject pulls a foreign object out of his tights, concealing it as TK comes towards him. Reject takes a wild swing, but TK ducks and picks him up in a back suplex. Reject nails him with the object as TK brings him in, and they both fall to the mat. COACH What a right hand by Reject! TK is out! COLE Yeah, the right hand with the weapon in it! Reject lays back on TK as he shoves the weapon back into his tights. COLE NO! NOT THIS WAY! 1... 2... NO!!! TK gets a shoulder up! CABOOSE Two-count! COLE TK STILL with fight left! Reject picks TK up slowly, and sets up the EULOGY~!!!!!11111...but TK shoves him once again into the exposed buckle, then rolls him up from behind... 1... 2... NO!!! Reject gets free! Reject gives TK a low blow, undetected by the referee, then sets up a suplex, but TK blocks, and drops him with the THUNDERBOLT DDT~!!!!!11111 1... 2... NO!!! Reject gets a foot on the bottom rope! COACH Oh, MAN! COLE Reject too close to the ropes on that one! CABOOSE Reject's always seemed to stay close to the ropes in these situations! COACH Well, that's just like I said, he's wrestling smart, and TK hasn't been able to put him away! Reject backs into the corner, and TK follows him in and gets onto the second rope, delivering punches as the crowd counts along... 1!!! 2!!! 3!!! 4!!! 5!!! 6!!! 7!!! 8!!! 9!!! 10!!! TK plays to the crowd, which roars in approval...before Reject grabs TK, walks out, and drops him onto the exposed buckle, then rolls him up, putting his feet on the ropes... 1... 2... 3!!! COLE DAMN IT!!! REJECT STEALS IT! COACH I TOLD YOU, Cole! Brains over brawn! BUFFER [i]The winner of the match...RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEJE CT!!!!![/i] Reject slides out of the ring, raising his arms as he staggers back down the aisle and TK stares him down. CABOOSE Well, I don't think weve seen the last of this one, guys!

[i]Renegade[/i] hits and Reject comes through the curtains to the boos of the crowd. COACH Reject's been waiting for this match for a long time, Cole! BUFFER [i]The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Making his way down the aisle, from NEW YORK CITY, weighing in at 235 pounds...RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREJECT!!!!![/i] COLE And Reject has signed to meet his former partner, Thunderkid, at AngleMania V, but here tonight, he'll meet another former associate, the #1 contender, Alfdogg! [i]Magnum Opus: Father Padilla Meets the Perfect Gnat/Howling at the Moon[/i] hits and Alfdogg comes through the curtains to a huge pop. BUFFER [i]His opponent, weighing in at 240 pounds...he is a former OAOAST Heavyweight champion of the WORLD...ALFDOGG!!!!![/i] Alf slides into the ring and raises his arms in the corner, then quickly jumps down as Reject approaches him, causing Reject to back off. The music cuts out, and the bell rings. *DING DING DING* Alf circles the ring with Reject, and Reject grabs a side headlock. Alf backs Reject into the ropes, then shoves him off. Reject comes off the ropes, ducks a clothesline, and knocks Alf to the mat with a NICE looking dropkick! COACH YEAH! Way to go, baby! Reject celebrates his feat, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Alf slowly gets to his feet in a corner, then comes out and circles the ring once again. Reject goes in for the tie-up, but Alf takes him over with an armdrag! Reject quick to his feet, but Alf hits a dropkick of his own, and Reject rolls to the floor! Reject kicks the steel steps in frustration. COLE But Alf quick to respond, and Reject really frustrated! CABOOSE Well, Reject can't leet himself get flustered, because that's when Alf really has you right where he wants you. Reject slides back into the ring, and slaps Alf across the face! COACH Whoa, well maybe Reject's trying to give Alf a little taste of his own medicine here, then! Alf responds by sending a wad of spit into the face of Reject! Reject wipes his face, then charges Alf, who catches Reject in another armdrag! Reject charges again, and gets caught in a drop toe hold! Alf spins around and stands so that his feet are at Reject's face, then when Reject gets up, he delivers a slap of his own! Reject simply walks back to his corner, extremely frustrated. COLE And Alf REALLY getting into Reject's head now! COACH Well, Reject's being smarter about it this time, though, he's taking a little walk, trying to cool himself down here! Reject comes out of the corner, and grabs Alf in a rear waistlock. Alf tries to wrestle out of it, then reaches down and trips Reject up. Reject shoves Alf into the ropes with the free leg, then rolls to his stomach. Alf hops over, then Reject rolls over again to attempt a reverse monkey flip...but Alf holds on to the ropes, and drops a fist on Reject! CABOOSE Alf saw that one coming a mile away! Alf follows up with a T-Bone suplex! Cover... 1... 2... Kickout! Reject quickly scoots into a corner, and Alf follows. The referee backs off Alf, and as he does, Reject pulls a razor blade out of his kneepad. COLE What's he going to do with that? Reject starts sawing away at the rope tying the top turnbuckle pad into the corner, and throws the pad and blade to the floor. He stands up in the corner, and holds his hands out at Alf. When Alf comes in, Reject thumbs him in the eye. Alf staggers backwards, and Reject comes out of the corner with a spinning wheel kick! Cover... 1... 2... Kickout! COLE First pin attempt by Reject, as he's obviously setting up Alf for that exposed buckle! Reject picks up Alf and delivers a fisherman's buster! He then signals at the exposed buckle, and picks Alf up in running powerslam position. Reject plays to the crowd, drawing more boos, then goes to the buckle. Alf slides behind the back and shoves Reject, who stops himself before hitting the buckle. Alf grabs Reject from behind, and delivers a German suplex! 1... 2... Kickout! COACH Close call for both guys in that sequence! Reject picks up Alf and goes for the PITCH BLACK~!!!...but Alf counters, and slingshots Reject into the exposed buckle! COACH OH NO! COLE Reject into the buckle! Alf catches Reject on the rebound with an overhead belly-to-belly, then goes to the top rope! COLE And Alf looking to finish it early here! Alf LEAPS...but Reject rolls out of the ring! Alf sees this, and rolls over when he gets to the mat, ala Eddie Guerrero. Alf keeps his eyes on Reject as he shakes the cobwebs loose and walks around the ring. Reject walks all the way around, and stops and puts his hands on his knees on the side of the ring opposite the entryway. At this point, the crowd rises to its feet, as it sees the World champion, Peter Knight, slowly coming down the aisle! COLE Wait a minute, what's this? COACH Just someone wanting a little payback, Cole. Knight slides into the ring, as Alf is still focused on Reject. Alf finally turns around...right into a BELTSHOT~! from Peter Knight! "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" COLE Peter Knight, the World champion, with a cheapshot on Alf! And the referee's throwing this one out! *DING DING DING* Knight stomps away at Alf, as Reject slowly rolls back into the ring. Reject acts as cheerleader as Knight mounts Alf and peppers him with stiff forearms, Alf's head snapping back violently on each impact. Knight switches to a choke while Reject joins in with some stomps of his own. CABOOSE You have to wonder if this was pre-meditated between Reject and PK! COLE It's a possibility! Knight yells taunts and obsenities at Alf while Reject takes care of the referee as he attempts to break things up by grabbing him by the shirt and yanking him through the ropes and to the floor. Knight pauses from beating on a now bloody Alf and shouts an order to Reject, who rolls out of the ring and shoves Michael Buffer out of his seat before folding it up and bringing it into the ring. COLE Oh no. COACH Alf wants to swing some steel? Time to find out what it tastes like himself. CABOOSE I'm sure Axel isn't going to do a damn thing to stop this. Reject leaves the chair on the mat and Knight pulls Alf up by the hair, staring into his eyes with a look of pure hatred. Alf tries a few right hands to try and escape, but a few Knight knees to the gut along with clubbing blows by Reject weaken him and Knight hoists him up in a fireman's carry. COLE No, not on the chair! He did the same thing to Stephen Joseph! Knight parades him around the ring, just because he can, before walking over to the chair. "YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" But suddenly Thunderkid tears down the aisle and slides into the ring. Reject points him out to Knight and Knight reluctantly drops Alf to deal with him. Reject tries a clothesline, but TK ducks it and bounces off the ropes. He leaps for a bicycle kick for Reject, but Reject rolls out of the way and out of the ring, leaving Knight no chance to react as TK connects. "YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Reject quickly jumps the barrier and backs out through the crowd as TK mounts the turnbuckles and glares at him. As officials storm the ring, Reject pushes his way through the crowd and out of sight while TK hops down to check on Alf. On the outside, Knight flexes his jaw and, seeing a wall of officials between him and TK, decides to just walk back up the aisle. COLE TK to the rescue for his friend Alf, and I can't believe Reject, just basically shielding himself with the World champion right there! He made it seem like he was happy to sign on the dotted line last week, but a lot less so when it was in person! CABOOSE And perhaps a preview of tonight's match with PK and TK with TK delivering that big bicycle kick! COACH I don't think so, I think brains will prevail over brawn, just like at AngleMania! Is that too short of a match, PK? I wanted to save a little bit, since there will be an Alf/Reject feud later in the year, and this was basically to advance the two feuds anyway. You can change whatever you need.

Brand's always been a great player, as has been said, the big reason the Clippers have become good now is because Sterling finally got off his ass and got some solid veteran players to put around him (and yes, Cassell deserves a lot of that credit, obviously). It's not that Brand wasn't doing anything for the Clippers, the Clippers weren't doing anything for Brand. Much similar to KG in Minnesota.
