How did Oscar (MOM's manager) get hired by the WWF? I've seen him sitting in the crowd at some events before he started...he was in the aisleway at WM9, and during the battle royal on the Invasion of the Bodyslammers CV tape, he's sitting right behind the announce booth.

Are you an Indian? I don't get it

The difference between the Mavs and Colts, though, is I don't think anyone actually expects the Mavs to win. Thus, if they lose to the Spurs or Pistons or Suns, they won't be letting down legions of fans and experts across the country.

Plus, if Flair gets the belt again, that's also one more HHH reign that has to be endured.

I don't know what that word means, but this obviously can't mean too well for this franchise. EDIT: And I'll take this time to reiterate that Bender and Croshere both come off the books that summer, which frees up approx. $15 million. Also the same year that the '04 draft class are scheduled to be FA's.

Here are the matchups as of right now (1) San Antonio vs (8) LA Lakers (4) Dallas vs (5) LA Clippers (3) Denver vs (6) Memphis (2) Phoenix vs (7) NO/OK (1) Detroit vs (8) Milwaukee (4) Cleveland vs (5) Indiana (3) New Jersey vs (6) Washington (2) Miami vs (7) Philadelphia If the seeds went by strictly records, the Nets would be the 4 seed in the East, and the Nuggets would be the 7 seed in the West. I have read that there may be changes in the playoff format next year, as far as those seedings go. I'll look for some articles.

This folder sure hasn't been very good over the last week or so

Indiana kept Davis around a lot longer than any NBA team would have, especially considering that he was following up on Bobby Knight. I don't care if you're white, black, Asian, Mexican, Eskimo, whatever, if you're following Bobby Knight, you're not going to get a fair shake from most people. I've cut Davis more slack than a lot of people have because of that fact, but this is the third straight year we're going to miss the tournament. He also recruited just one player who was drafted into the league (Bracey Wright, who's played a grand total of eight minutes for the Wolves this season) in his five years, though granted, that could change this year. I'm not saying I'm happy to see him go, but I can't really say I'll miss him either.

Reject will explain his actions from this past Thursday.

How about this one? -
He must have been reading the message board at InsideHoops and all the threads saying he was going to be an All-Star in '05. I shit you not.

1999, actually, but you got the right idea.

There's a mock lottery machine at ESPN.com. I've gone through it for about 20 minutes, and I've come back with every team getting #1 except for the Kings and Jazz, who have the longest shots right now. Portland, Seattle, Toronto, and Orlando are all picking Adam Morrison, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, and Golden State are picking LaMarcus Aldridge, and Charlotte, Minnesota, and Boston are picking Rudy Gay. If Sacramento and Utah stay at 13 and 14, it has them taking Brandon Roy and JJ Redick, respectively.

Changed, as I realized I forgot about the tag titles.
