  1. I guess since all the legends are slowly returning, I'll have to appear at AM IV in some capacity.
  2. Benoit was injured for those first three, IIRC.
  3. Hey, I lost two more Elite Eight teams tonight! Fuck you, Arizona, and you, Louisville.
  4. They also took out the news and obituaries from past years, and only print the ones that happened that year.
  5. I haven't seen it, and I've definitely been on the lookout for it, as well. I thought it was usually out by the beginning for February. If it's not out in your area by now, I would doubt that it's coming out there.
  6. The flat belt looks like a mousepad.
  7. wtf dont post if u dont care fag
  8. It's down to Dee Brown and Matt Bullard.
  9. "Eagan shouldn't have been banned" "How would you know, you just registered a week ago! PBP BAN PLZ" "What are you talking about? I've been lurking here for nearly two years now!"
  10. cawthon's site has a lot of PPV posters. As far as magazine covers, best I can tell you is just to do a Yahoo search.
  11. Except he doesn't legitimately suck.
  12. London had a dark match against Spike that he won with the 450. At least that's the way I interpreted it from the spoilers.
  13. Because some of us don't possess the blind hatred of him that you do?

    Crying Foul

Here's the stat I was telling VitX about I was working on. And keep in mind, the touches stat is an approximation (although both numbers ending in 0 is a complete coincidence. Kobe Bryant 1700 touches in 53 games 1700/323 assists = 1 assist every 5.26 touches 1700/1,092 FGA = 1 FGA every 1.56 touches 42.9% from the field Tracy McGrady 1970 touches in 64 games 1970/377 assists = 1 assist every 5.23 touches 1970/1,367 FGA = 1 FGA every 1.44 touches 42.4% for the field It's not even as light-shedding as I thought it would be, because I thought I could figure out a way to factor in the number of times they passed the ball without it leading to an assist, but I can't. But I'm posting this anyway because dammit, I didn't type all this four only four replies.
  15. Then let's see a stat that would show it. Well, there's obviously no statistical way to prove it for or against anyone, but I'm using the thread I posted last night to come up with something that may shed a tiny light on it. And for the record, that quote was just a general statement, it wasn't intended as a shot at anyone. In other news, Pacers beat the Duncan-less Spurs 100-93, with Reggie Miller reaching the 25,000-point plateau.
  16. This is a question that needs to be addressed, for the good of the board.
  17. Here's what I deciphered from the spoilers that were posted Velocity Jindrak vs one of the Bashams Heidenrich vs a local jobber Kidman/Akio vs Nunzio/Funaki SD! JBL vs Scotty 2 Hotty Rey/Eddie vs Holly/Haas Booker T vs Rene Dupree
  18. Well, it was almost a great idea.
  19. Plus, that is an extremely overrated stat. Just because you average so many assists doesn't necessarily make you more of a team player. For all we know, you could only be passing the ball those six times per game. Steve Francis averages more assists than Doug Christie does, but which one would you rather have as a teammate?
  20. Nice to know that a 7-point lead with 23 seconds left still doesn't prevent Carter from crying like a bitch about his 6th foul.
  21. Dermarr Johnson is looking good in highlights against Washington. It'd be a great story to see him catch on as a go-to-guy or second option somewhere after the broken neck, unfortunately he's stuck in Denver right now. I have to wonder what if Phoenix didn't let him walk in training camp last year. Pacers are about to lose to the Nets for the second time in a week. Watching Vince Carter in this game makes it obvious he was being a big baby about getting a trade and dogging it on the court.
  22. I rather liked the Snitsky-Shelton series, just for the record.
  23. Sometimes, though, teams have so many injuries (or fake injuries, whatever) that they can't all be fit on the list, therefore someone has to wait for another person to come back before they can go on the injured list. Jamaal Tinsley has had foot problems for like a month and a half, but they kept him off thinking he could go, then Jermaine went down and they couldn't put him on the list when they wanted to. Some of the injuries are also made up by the team just to get them on the list, because they have 15 on the roster but can only use 12, and the extra three have to go on the list. Jamison Brewer, for example, has spent virtually his entire career on the injured list (not sure how much he's played this year though, for the Knicks).
  24. Oh man, they're on drugs right now.
