How I heard it was the Rockers were supposed to drop them to P&G after winning them from the Harts in late '90. Neidhart was going to be fired, but they decided to keep him. So they basically just pretended the title change never happened and P&G was more or less forgotten about. Someone else could put this a lot better than I just did though, I'm sure.
