  1. Pacers are now 14-2 after last night's win over Philly, in which we held Iverson to a season-low 12 points. We have today off, then we have a BITCH of a back-to-backer as we go to LA against the Lakers and then to Phoenix. Arenas: I agree with Redhawk, he's more overhyped than overrated. He is putting up great numbers, although his turnovers is something to keep an eye on if you're a fantasy guy. But then again, it goes back to what Ripper said when Walker was traded, how the two (Walker and Arenas) had similar stats, but Arenas is praised, while Walker was criticized for his negative points. I'm not necessarily a big fan of his, but Walker, when healthy (he had a couple nagging injuries last season, I believe), is a triple-double machine. But people are quick to point at his attitude and his poor shooting, whereas Arenas can waltz into Washington and guarantee a playoff berth for the Wizards - a team Michael Jordan couldn't take to the playoffs, mind you - without so much as a snicker from anyone in the media. And the Wizards are NOT better than the Celtics. If Stackhouse comes back with his A-game and scores like he did before, than maybe I'll change my tune as far as that's concerned. As far as the Fortson play goes, it's definitely the dirtiest play of this season, but I'd have to get back to you on it's all-time ranking.
  2. Is today really your birthday, Banky?
  3. 104 points last night. 11/29: PG: Baron Davis SG: Ronald Murray SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Tim Duncan C: Zydrunas Ilgauskas Coach: Randy Ayers

    Happy?

............... Holy SHIT. They must have been fucked up pretty damn bad.
  5. You bet $15 on the Knicks beating the Pacers? .... BWAHAHAHAHAHA.
  6. Well, right now we're at 12-2, best in the league. We start our West coast road trip Sunday, as we play at the Lakers and at Phoenix in probably our toughest back to backer of the season. So we'll find out how good we really are next week. To be honest, I would have had us at No. 3 behind Dallas, simply because of our ineptness at holding big leads.
  7. Where's Waldo? I haven't seen him yet.

  9. 119 points, despite only 9 VGMs from Jason Terry (I picked him because of his 47% shooting percentage, so of course he shoots 5-17). I got 61 from Garnett and Baker. 11/28: PG: Jason Kidd SG: Michael Redd SF: Ron Artest PF: Zach Randolph (I debated going with Walker seeing that Nowitzki is out, but I see no reason Zach shouldn't dominate against the Nets) C: Jermaine O'Neal Coach: Don Nelson
  10. That sucks, too... Had DA rejected my trade a day earlier, I could have picked up Mutombo and had him available yesterday. I understand he had a very good game. Nothing against DA, just saying.
  11. What...the...fuck. Yesterday, I was up 7-0, now I log on and it's 2-6?
  12. And there's only three of them... You obviously weren't around during the "What do you think of me thread" era.
  13. That doesn't rhyme.
  14. 82 points last night. And yes, I also picked Q-Rich. 11/26 PG: Baron Davis SG: Jason Terry SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Vin Baker C: Ben Wallace Coach: Gregg Popovich

  16. Uh... +1
  17. Go ahead and appreciate. Any negative remarks are vehemently discouraged.
  18. Pete Myers. That's who it was. He was a good hustle-type player in his day, maybe he can instill some of that in Da Bulls.
  19. Are you threatening me?
  20. ...Or as soon as today. He's out, on of their assistants was promoted.
  21. Well, I have to work, so I can't sit and watch the Pacers whoop the Knicks' asses after dinner. *bitches*
  22. He was HoffmanHBK.
  23. Actually, Hoff has been here since the beginning of the board. He just registered a new name.
  24. Pat Garrity is having knee surgery and could miss the entire rest of the season. The Chicago Sun Times has reported that it is "almost inevitable" Cartwright is done as soon as Friday. Paxson has an assistant ready to take over for the rest of the season, and will apparently go after Doc Rivers at the end of the season. Isiah Thomas is a long shot for the job. The Kings will retire #2, worn by Mitch Richmond, during halftime of the Minn/Sac game on Dec. 5.
