The Knicks really didn't need another point guard. They already have Howard Eisley and Charlie Ward. I'm not saying it was a good trade for the Knicks, it made no sense all around. I'm just saying Francis is really a scorer who just happens to bring the ball up the court. I don't know anything about Mike Wilks, who is now backing up Francis, but Norris was their only real PG. Weatherspoon isn't going to give you anything other than rebounding, and Yao and Cato are doing that very nicely, plus Maurice Taylor has been coming through for them off the bench. I don't see Norris or Spoon getting much action.

All-Star weekend is coming up in about a month, and I was curious who everyone here thinks should be on the team. The likely starters, according to voting, is looking like this: East G: Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady F: Vince Carter, Jermaine O'Neal C: Ben Wallace That doesn't look to be changing in the frontcourt, at least. Jason Kidd COULD sneak into McGrady's spot, but it's not likely. I don't know when Iverson will be back either. West G: Kobe Bryant, Steve Francis F: Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett C: Shaquille O'Neal The race for the second guard spot is tightly contested between, Francis, Nash and Payton. Everything else should stay the same though. Keep in mind this is fan voting, not my opinion. Not that I have any major beefs with these starters, save for possibly Francis, who is having a subpar season by his standards. Now then, here are my choices for reserves: East: Shareef Abdur-Rahim Paul Pierce Carlos Boozer Ron Artest Jason Kidd Baron Davis Zydrunas Ilgauskas (mainly just because there's no other really good centers in the East) West Steve Nash Sam Cassell Corey Magette Zach Randolph Peja Stojakovic Brad Miller Andrei Kirilenko Players I thought hard about, but left off: LeBron James Mike Bibby Manu Ginobili Kenyon Martin (yes, I admit it) Stephon Marbury Okay, your turn.

Moochie was the backup for Francis who had an enormous fro the last couple of years, before going with the shaved head this year. He was their only true point guard, and I think it was very stupid to trade him for Weatherspoon. Speaking of fros, Jermaine O'Neal still hasn't followed through on his promise to wear one on retro night.

I ALMOST picked Brent Barry too. Dammit.

Bonzi went for 45 in the first game against Dallas in the playoffs last year, but I was wondering the same thing. The only guys on Memphis who get consistent minutes are Gasol, Williams and Battier. Oh, and my profanity will not be censored this time... Allen and Artest can SUCK MY FAT ASS. Allen, after his awesome comeback, shoots 5-22 and ends up with 5 VGMs, while Artest cries like a fucking baby in the locker room at halftime to Carlisle due to Richard FUCKING Jefferson making him his bitch, and as a result gets benched for the entire second half and becomes the first player to give me NEGATIVE VGMs with a score of -2.
