That "some girl" would be Princess Sally Acorn, Sonic's eternal love-interest in the comic universe. ... What? When I was younger I read that comic religiously. Firstly I was speaking of the darker Sonic The Hedgehog one. And actually near the end, Tails was getting a bit bigger in the roles (even in the comics, but got shunted). As apparently he was affirmed as the "one to whom the ancients claim will restore Mobius". At least in the comics, the cartoon series disappeared after about it's third season I believe. Secondly, I'm suprised I'm not the only one who read them consistantly. I read up to issue 50, and a little beyond before it pretty much died for me. Because after Robotnik, Sonic didn't really seem like Sonic. Besides, the way they written out how Robotnik was gone, they could play the trump card of "the returning villian" if they got bored. Shit, I still remember a lot of the comic storylines and liked it a lot better than how Sonic The Hedgehog is protrayed right now by Sega.

This makes me optimistic about my NFL pool. Yes, harsh thing to say, but I forgot the draft date and I still had my autodraft with Vick. With this incident, my opponent doesn't have a starting QB either for my first matchup. So I'm not getting squashed. Yet, he's more screwed than I (Vick's back by week 3 at least, Chad's pretty much gone a long time). So I feel bad for him. However, I'm really wondering about pre-season injuries. I mean is it just a little absurd that we've got the starters going down a lot this year? Or is it just more in our face this year? Cause I've heard more about starter injuries now then before.
