  1. an addendum, Millennium, if you will allow me to do so, good sir: he will be moved to Raw, built up HEAVILY, only to lose to HHH (somehow he gets the belt back) at WM a la Booker T circa 2003! Well, it IS a race Triple H hasn't proven himself superior too. Oh all the funny racist jokes and speeches that would come from that feud. How could I forget HHH getting to squash another potential cash cow? *smacks self in forehead*. Everyone knows that any money drawn in by "those" kind of superstars is dirty money anyway. Plus, imagine those devastating Pedigrees on Mysterio. But, ya got to admit, the ensuing feud w/ Tomko & Snitsky would definitely pump up the Backlash buyrates.
  2. Prediction: Rey gets moved to Raw (Compensation for Angle) to feud w/ Tomko & Snitsky in time for WrestleMania.
  3. I feel the same way if Orton is replaced in favor of Chris Masters. Damned if I don't find myself humming that tune at work now and again.
  4. What woman could resist that handome chap?
  5. I did see the Lashley plunge on wwe.com but the .5 sec clip was merely a footnote in the "story" of the battle royal. They painted the story that Angle threw everyone out until he was put through the table by Henry. Then, Henry chucked everyone until it was he and Angle. Lashley never got recognition other than seeing him fly off the apron.
  6. I missed the faceoff. What exactly happened?
  7. From Jan95, Vince is in the ring just about to start an interview w/ Diesel. Lawler is doing commentary. *Diesel fireworks begin to taper off* Lawler: Royal prediction . . . McMahon starts the interview by saying 'Alright!' McMahon: Alright . . . Lawler: Hahaha!!!
  8. They'll bait and swtich it . . . or Flair will have in the contract that TLC stands for Tender, Loving Care meaning that if Flair beats Edge (in a standard match), he gets to give Lita TLC for the night.
  9. Luckily for Kennedy, Grisham has never heard of Aries.
  10. Only caught the last 10 minutes of it . . . Whatdya want kid, an eel, snake, or worm?
  11. Another funny episode last night. Michael's attitude was frighteningly similiar to a co-worker of mine. "Dwight, what's your middle name?" "Danger!" Good stuff.
  12. Sad to hear that about Lashley. I haven't seen all his matches so perhaps someone can correct me but one would think WWE is THRILLED to have a hoss on the roster who is far from a clutz and seems to know what he's doing out there. Then, they have one of the top 3 clumsiest guys on the roster squash him. Hopefully, it's not as bad as indicated. I don't know how hard it is to have Lashley somewhat easily handle Henry before making a "rookie" mistake and have Henry give him the ol' backdrop over the top spot.
  13. Much appreciation for posting this Arnold.
  14. For a wrestling show, yes. For Raw, apparently not.
  15. He'll get beat up on his way to the ring and replaced by Mark Henry.
  16. Seems like a pretty decent guy in the bits when he wasn't in character. Very relatable guy as he proudly addressed that he watches box sets of dvds and plays dvds during his recovery time.
  17. Hmmmm, I thought Styles was plenty watered down enough for WWE at this point. Seems like a smoother version of JR. Guess I'm wrong. I think we can expect to see him in some sort of announcer-abuse angle w/ HHH sooner than later.
  18. I thought the board crashed from all the traffic coming in Monday night or something.
  19. Henry did pin The Rock on ppv (Judgment Day 1998).
  20. Double Post. Look at Cyrus instead.
  21. Yeah definitely. Being January, they could have tossed in a couple Rumble matches. Not sure if you're referring to the cable or online version. If you're talking about online, I was pulling for the 1988 Rumble match. Instead, we got videos from the Piledriver album.
  22. This probably doesn't fit but since it's minor, I'll share. I was watching an old ep of Challenge from 1986. Volkoff, Sheik, and Hercules are scheduled to be "in action" in a 6-man tag presumably against jobbers. They're in the ring singing the anthem when Cpl. Kirchner's music blares out to interrupt as he leads in his troop comprising of . . . Salvatore Bellomo and Jim Powers. Just funny to see jobbers get an entrance w/ music and even run off the bad guys. Of course 2 minutes later, Powers was submitting to Herc's backbreaker.
  23. In the spirit of piling on WWE 24/7 Online problems, when I click on 'WMP' on the default player, Windows brings up a screen where I have to manually click on the Windows Media Player for it to work instead of going right to the WMP. More of a nuicance than a problem, but if anyone could help, I'd appreciate it very much.
  24. Actually I figured out I was thinking of Psicosis and "Get Beck". Don't know how I managed to mix the two up. Ironically, that was my holy grail of themes up until about a year ago when it was discovered. I figured it'd never be found and go into obscurity like Vader's and the Nasty Boys' heel (1993-94) themes.
  25. I believe he's referring to "The Lifeguard" Steve Collins. I remember him jobbing to Steve Austin on Worldwide before the 11/94 Clash. But I don't remember Collins having an entrance that episode.
