  1. I have that HBK CV and it is the EXACT same match listing. Dok Hendrix hosts it from the workout facility at Titan Towers. The CV was called 'Shawn Michaels: Heartbreak Express Tour'. Yeah, most everything is clipped but it is about 2 hours vs. the one hour Austin/UT dvds.
  2. Ted DiBiase will always be #1 in my book, but Jesse Ventura had a nice cackle as well when the heel would get away w/ a little rule bending.
  3. How about the RETURN OF . . . GLACIER!!! Blood Runs Cold . . . Again!!! The way he saved Norman Smiley week after week on Thunder in 2001 was nothing shirt of heroism at its peak! Maybe the Hurricane should take some notes on how a Superhero should conduct himself.
  4. Do you have the boxes for the following: Summerslam 1996 Superbrawl V (Vader v. Hogan) Bash at the Beach 1994 Thanks.
  5. ^ ^ ^ Awesome stuff. "Your father lived a full life on his own terms Now he is underground being eaten by worms"
  6. Are any of those WWF/WCW tapes commercial masters w/ the original box?
  7. I had a Kane shirt from 1998ish. It had a burning "symbol" on the front w/ his name also in burning letters . . . not bad. BUT the back said, "Kiss my ash" Yikes! I still wore it to school a few times but tried to keep my back to the wall at all times. I think I gave it to Easter Seals along w/ my HHH (Actual arena shirt w/ NOTHING on the back, just 3 blue Hs on the front) and one of The Rock shirts (which a friend bought for me when I was too sick to go to Raw, wore it once to be polite but I felt like an uber mark in it). Still have nWo, Cactus Jack, Raven (WCW), and Jericho (Highlight of the Night) which I wear to this day. Still regret not buying a WCW Monday Night Jericho shirt through mail order.
  8. 27. Botching up War Games in 1998 and then killing it off as a ppv attraction.
  9. 23. Not booking Goldberg vs. Jericho at WW3 as a co-main event. More of a personal gripe, but it sure didn't help their cause.
  10. Hello, I'm unloading some tapes for $8 a piece shipped anywhere in the US. More for shipping if it's to another country. All these tapes are my copies and not dubs of the copies. They are either from broken deals or I just don't need them anymore. Here they are: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - WCW Souled Out 2000 Home Video Master (Cut box) - 1st Gens of CVs Wham Bam Bodyslam and Royal Rumble 1995 in EX quality. Also included are a few matches from Winter Combat (Diesel/Bulldog, Razor/Douglas (clipped), Hart/Bulldog, & Goldust/Jannetty) - 1st Gens of Home Videos Rebellion 1999, Spring Stampede 2000, and Bloodbath (plus a few bonus cage matches threw in). EX quality. - Missy Hyatt Shoot Interview. From Wrestling Universe and I'm pretty sure it's a 1st Gen. Either way, it's VG. - 1st Gens of CV versions of Survivor Series 1987, Hulkamania 4, SummerSlam 1994, and Slammy Awards 1997. EX Quality - 3 Eps from Wrestling Challenge from 1/87-2/87. G/VG Quality. 2 Notable matches are Kamala vs. Mick Foley but announced as Faley & the Debut of Demolition (CULLEY as Smash) vs. Sivi Afi/Jerry Allen. Also includes the first few Piper's Pits leading up to WrestleMania III. Also includes better looking eps of SNME 11/89, 1/90, and 4/90 (looks the best of the bunch) in VG Quality. And The Main Event 2/90 in VG Quality. - Eps of Wrestling Challenge from 10/86 and MSG shows from 11/85 and 12/85 . . . The Challenge eps and MSG 11/85 are G while MSG 12/85 is a tad under VG. - MSG 6/84 & 9/84 & first 10ish minutes of the War to Settle the Score . . . Very nice pic in all 3 although 6/84 has a little static/fuzz but 9/84 looks spectacular. - SNMEs 11/87 (missing intro), 1/88, 4/88, 10/88, 1/89 (little static), TME 2/88, and much of SNME 11/86 (shaky pic for the first 10 minutes; cuts off before Bees/Harts) These are all 1st Gens and look fantastic and I'll be sending the tape as is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested, you can either PM me or e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks.
  11. 6. The overwhelming nWo influence in 1998. 7. Too many wrestlers under contract at a time. 8. Not capitalizing on Norman Smiley's overwhelming popularity.
  12. That MAY be because they can't use Jesse Ventura's commentary . . . I really don't know, I'm from the US of A.
  13. The Boogie Knights theme song used from 2000-2001 rocked the house!
  14. I'm guessing the guy didn't kiss Hogan's ass enough.
  15. Linda McMahon barked like a dog in one of Ted DiBiase's initial appearances.
  16. Hard to believe he's been w/ the company since 1992.
  17. Wasn't Austin a face at that point, or is my timeline warped? Shades of gray ma'am . . . shades of gray.
  18. I didn't know Ross and Ventura didn't like each other. Where did you hear that?
  19. If only they had the tune they play on Price is Right after you lose a pricing game when one of the chicks gets booted.
  20. No doubt; I have always personally considered 1987-1990 (WM III - WM VI) to be the "Golden Age" of PPV for that exact reason. WrestleMania V is one of my favorite mark out events. Their commentary is one of the big reasons why.
  21. The red head Christi better win. But I'm sure she'll be the 1st one dumped and my interest will plummet immensly.
  22. I hope Jericho's wife isn't watching.
  23. I have Monsoon/Ventura as #1 as well. Monsoon/Heenan were funnier but Monsoon/Ventura just a tad better. They did a better job of treating the match like a sporting event while keeping it immensly entertaining. Monsoon/Heenan seemed to use the match as a springboard for one liners . . . very funny one liners, but one liners nonetheless.
  24. The Super Posedown from Royal Rumble 1989 was a riot. The interactions between Mean Gene/Heenan and Monsoon/Ventura were nothing short of gold. Gene: We are ready for our next pose. Bobby Heenan, what . . . Heenan: We're gonna need about fifteen minutes. Gene: FIFTEEN MINUTES!?!?! --------------------------------------------- (Warrior poses, fans go wild) Monsoon: Hands down winner right there. Ventura: SHUT UP Monsoon, nobody's won nothin' yet! Monsoon: What are ya, deaf? Ventura: They haven't done the final voting, people can change minds. Monsoon: It's all over but the cryin'.
