  1. Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat.
  2. I learned what the External Occipital Pretuberance is from listening to Gorilla Monsoon. Plus, as Monsoon says, "Turnabout is fair play."
  3. Hello, I am looking to unload the following videos for $8 each shipped in the continental US. You will be getting these copies as described so if it says 1st Gen, you will be getting a 1st Gen . . . not 2nd Gen. Same w/ the commercial master tapes. I should have 2 more tapes on the list in a week or so. - WCW Souled Out 2000 Commercial Master w/ a cut box in a plastic case. - SNMEs 11/87, 1/88, 4/88, 10/88, 1/89, & TME 2/88 (VG/EX). - 1st Gens of CV’s Survivor Series 1987, Hulkamania IV, SummerSlam 1994, and Slammies 1997. - 1st Gens of CV’s Wham Bam Bodyslam, Royal Rumble 1995, and some matches from IYH 4 & 5. - 1st Gens of CV’s Raw: Prime Cuts, Raw Hits, and SummerSlam 1996. - 1st Gen of CV’s IYH: Badd Blood 1997 (Rampage '97) w/ TV Masters of various WWE segments from 2003. - MSG 6/84 (little cable fuzz) & 9/84 (VG/EX). - Challenge eps from 10/86 (G), MSG 11/85(G), and MSG 12/85 (G+). - Challenge eps from 1-2/87 and SNME 11/89, 1/90, ME 2/90, and 4/90 (VG). - Missy Hyatt Shoot Interview (VG). If you have any questions about the tapes, you can PM me, leave me an email at [email protected] or leave it in this thread. Thanks.
  4. Yeah, he refused to shake Larry Brown's hand and even pointed his finger at his chest because he felt the USA was showboating. At least that's what I heard on the radio.
  5. They should have went all the way with the rib and had him win the Rumble. Then Hart/Backlund match could have taken place a year early. Yeah, that'd punk out Backlund.
  6. No doubt. At the time where I lived, it aired on Saturday at 7pm. So Backlund was probably lacing his boots at the time getting ready to drop the title. I marked out when Vince said that line since I figured there's NO WAY in hell they'd give Backlund the Championship. Although, w/in the confines of the rules, you knew that Owen would NEVER throw the towel in. Still, I figured Bret would outsmart the evil duo and hang on to the belt. It gave me belief for a little while at least that ANYTHING could happen in the WWF. Yep, I was a 100% full blooded mark.
  7. I remember that video package for the fact that the winner of the WWF Title match wasn't revealed until McMahon's last line in the package: "After 11 years, Bob Backlund's journey has come full circle . . . Bob Backlund is once again WWF Champion!" (Superstars opening)
  8. Did Backlund ever get a televised rematch vs. Diesel?
  9. They had David Flair/Stacy Kiebler almost tie the knot.
  10. Buy from Max, buy a figure, buy a tape, buy it all, buy buy buy!!! Great service!
  11. I'm sure Philly wouldn't mind snagging Henry right about now.
  12. Bob Barker has got to be in the Top 5.
  13. JR even calls Hart a former WWF Champion even though at the time of the match, he was only IC Champion and never the WWF Champion.
  14. In the spirit of the above post, after many lucha matches in WCW . . . Schiavone: Now, we go to the replay . . . Heenan: Hold on hold on, I got it . . . Take it Tenay!
  15. (From Survivor Series 2001's Battle Royal) JR: (already agitated from Heyman's verbage) There's DDP, he has an advantage, he has nice teeth . . . (DDP gets thrown out) . . . DDP's gone, I guess he can go back and floss.
  16. Eh, I still wish I could get my hands on Battle Royal from Royal Albert Hall since I am a battle royal mark and hearing Monsoon/Heenan argue for 2-3 hours had to be worth something.
  17. America's Funniest People.
  18. The only time I remember anyone saying that was Dusty Rhodes when they panned the crowd at Hog Wild 1996.
  19. Only if JBL gets thrown off the roof only to return unharmed later in the night.
  20. Guns n Roses --- "Welcome to the Jungle" Metallica --- "Sanatarium (Welcome Home)"
  21. (From the Angle/Benoit cage match. Austin is doing guest commentary.) JR: Boy I can recall one time when Benoit hit 10 German suplexes on someone I know. Austin: That someone was Stone Cold Steve Austin. JR: Oh? Austin: You think that's funny? You know how that felt . . . . . it hurt like a BASTARD! Just a perfect delivery by Austin.
  22. The match that aired was this one, unless they cut it from IYH and spliced it in with the rest of the Raw episode. WWF @ Struthers, OH - High School - June 5, 1995 Monday Night Raw taping: 6/5/95: KOTR Qualifying Match: Davey Boy Smith fought WWF Tag Team Champion Owen Hart (w/ Jim Cornette) to a 15-minute time limit draw as Owen had Smith down in a backslide Well, I do remember that match not taking place from the same arena as the others that night. IIRC, Vince and Lawler kicked it over to JR and Monsoon to call the match.
  23. Sorry for going off topic but after seeing WMXX, I'm convinced that Tito Santana could make a comeback if he wanted to.
  24. IIRC, they even would dedicate one segment on Sunday Morning Superstars to showing highlights of Shotgun Saturday Night. Looked really interesting since it looked like chaos/anarchy every week in comparison to Raw or Superstars.
  25. Thanks! Good read indeed.
