Granted I haven't seen all the ppvs of the past 3 years, but I'll go: - WM XX - Vengeance 2003 - ummmm . . . I'll go Vengeance 2001 just for the markout of seeing Chris Jericho become the "First Ever Undisputed Champion". Cheap ending? Without a doubt but it was still cool to see it live . . . the aftermath in the coming months was not.

Bring it to Survivor Series.

Your Favourite 3 WCW Matches.. (1993-2001)
MillenniumMan831 replied to natey2k4's topic in General Wrestling
Being a battle royal mark, I love the WW3 matches. But my big complaint is in 1995/96 they used the triple split screen CONSTANTY until it came down to one ring . . . and even in 1996 they didn't ditch it until there were only 10 or so guys left. IIRC, in 1997 they used it off and on and it wasn't too bad and in 1998 they didn't use it at all . . . but I hated the 1998 version the most of all. -

- Pick up the WrestleMania Collection - Several Royal Rumbles - Rowdy Roddy Piper's Greatest Hits - Ric Flair Collection - Any cheap wrestling tapes/dvds I can find at used cd/video/book stores Realistically, that's about it. I don't really care to rebuy figures/magazines. -

I got a sick feeling Snitsky will go over Kane at the ppv for if no other reason, to fool the smarks. Maybe Lita will turn then, but I have a feeling we'll see Snitsky for quite a while.

I hear the Shane Helms masks were ringing up as "HuHHicane" merchandise so I doubt Helms was making .02 off of them. Hey, that's what I heard now. And here's hoping they pull a similiar turn w/ him as Jericho had in WCW where he apologizes every week for his reprehensible the previous week before losing his match and his temper afterwards. -
Best Match of the Decade So Far?
MillenniumMan831 replied to Toshiaki Koala's topic in General Wrestling
I went w/ Chris Benoit. v. HBK v. HHH (Wrestlemania XX) since every time I watch it, I turn into a mark like I was in the 1980s. Just a brilliant match. Seeing Benoit get vindication for his career as well as the crowd getting what they wanted (for once) was pretty magical. -
Rampage 97 is in SP while Badd Blood is in EP. I don't know why it was released twice but the same could be said for SummerSlam 1997.

Here's my shameless list: http://www.geocities.com/millenniumman831/Tape_List.html

And a lot of times too the stipulation was added that if the champ is CO'd/DQ'd, he loses the title . . . I know this was the case for Hogan/Studd in 84 and Savage/Andre in 88. I'm sure there are more examples though.

I'm pretty sure those are from the Maple Leaf Garden tapes on the NeXus Forums. I'm at work and don't have the address right now though. Other themes released were Koko B Ware (Bird Bird Bird), Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Repo Man (w/ an ending), Narcissist Lex Luger, Hakushi (Different from Full Metal), and a buttload of others I can't remember. -
*Bump* Adding in: - Coliseum Video Master of Royal Rumble 1989. No original box though. - 1st Gens of CV's Royal Rumble 1991 and Rampage 1992. Plus, Titan Trons from Raw for X-Box (90 minutes worth of trons).
-
Cole even recycled the "Raping his Dignity" line from when Andre got his hair cut by Studd/Patera.
-
Another great moment from RR2000 is when Rikishi is all alone in the ring as the colock counts down to zero and The Bossman's music hit. MSG immediately gave him heat that would put goosebumps on any heel's body.

I just logged on here and read about this and I can't believe it. I'm definitely going back and reading the rest of this thread. I really don't know what else to say other than it sucks. All the best to his family and friends. RIP Bossman (I am proud to have him as my avatar for the last couple of months)

Being the company man he is, I find it pretty amusing that WWE Champion JBL doesn't even get a little pat on the back by Kurt for being an 'improved wrestler and tremendous performer'. Not saying he is, but I'm surprised Angle didn't so much as mention the champ.

Sadly, it should have made perfect sense to anybody. Hogan had spent 11 years hulking up following the finish. Everybody's finishing move. It had happened to Savage at WrestleMania V. Stupid and unrealistic, yes, but anybody who had followed Hogan's career from 1984 on should have seen it coming. ...That still doesn't make sense, and I've read it three times. Hogan no sold HIS OWN PARTNERS finishing move? Did Savage KNOW he would and just thought "Hey, if I try knocking Hogan out, he'll just pop up like a jack in the box"? IIRC, Hogan and Avalanche (or whoever) were down and the ref was giving the 10 count. So Savage raced to the top rope, dropped the elbow on Hogan, and Hogan popped up and was Hulking Up in no time much to Savage's delight. Yeah, pretty dumb.
-
*Bump* Adding in: - MSG 4/84 (VG+, volume low) and Spectrum 10/81 (G+). - MSG 7/84 (EX in SP).
-
I'm really foggy as to when Hogan no sold the powerbomb. I always assumed it was at Superbrawl V. Was it at the Clash proceeding this? If so, it's really sad that he'd no sell the powerbomb right after no selling the flying elbow.
