Pleasantly surprised to see the Browns not completely collapse and be able to hold off JAX. I thought I was going to have a heart attack on the 2nd to last play. I can only hope they make Winslow into a 3rd WR and leave Heiden as starting TE.

For a guy that charges $10/mo (or one can argue he charges $5 while Meltz charges $5), Alvarez really doesn't seem to know shit about anything. The 'argument' in question was a light hearted debate at best and nothing serious. I wouldn't judge Alvarez over that one instance. I understand that, but it seems he has no answers for a handful of his mailbag questions and continuously has no clue when the next TNA ppv is (for example). I'm sure he's just playing dumb on a lot of it, but it's a minor annoyance.

I loved how when after Valentine turned face, he'd signal for the Figure 4, and do the headbutt to the belly instead. Then he'd give a different signal and drop an elbow or something like that. Then he'd give a 3rd signal, and FINALLY go for the Figure 4. That shit would always throw the announcers off. Tremendous.

Per Poffo, he bought some costumes for a Gorgeous George-ish (not Macho's valet) gimmick just waiting for the call to come to work. It never came but the paychecks did. And as a sidenote, the shoot is excellent. Top 5 in my book.

Wasn't the same thing tried with Sivi Afi? IIRC, they really didn't give Sivi Afi enough of a chance to catch on to replace Jimmy Snuka. He didn't beat anyone higher on the card than Rene Goulet and jobbed cleanly to virtually everyone else.
