I picked the Royals... and the Brewers have to be the saddest team in sports. They actually looked promising last year - 2 allstars(Sexson/Jenkins), a 10 game win streak, rookie of the year(Podsednik), and an exciting new closer(Kolb). Of course they chose to get rid of the hugely popular Richie Sexson and have yet to resign Jenkins beyond next year. They made no major acquisitions, and I no longer count Ben Grieve as major. Was looking good, so they dump there top guy....wonderful.

Which dont you know?...I might be able to explain a lil Its a crazy lineup...They listed Dylan/Dave/Willie as headliners, you list Trey/Dead, and I would also add Primus and David Byrne. Thats in a 3 day event - 2 headliners each night, and theres like 60 other bands. By the way, Bonnaroo.com seems to be listing The Dead as the main headliner, ahead of Dylan and Dave Matthews.

I think the only decent push he got was being a Freebird lacky. Pretty sad. HE DID Pin Berlyn on PPV though Armstrong seemed to be on the verge of unseating Tully Blanchard for the World TV Title back in 1987 --- but then he was just stuck in a tag team with his dad and his career died. -=Mike Brad vs. Tully would have been an awesome series

Yeah...Guinn beat Dokiwari. But, I wouldnt call Williamson a 'tomato can'. He had fought and beat some decent fighters, and two fights prior to Mesi he fought through a broken jaw to win a decision.
-
He was one of the featured fighters on HBO's heavyweight tripleheader last September. He scored an impressive, lopsided decision over Sinan Samil Sam. Dokiwari and Mesi won fights on that show as well, Mesi by first round ko over Davaryl Williamson. Mesi vs Gomez...I would pick Mesi, good fight.

I thought that with a decent push, Brad Armstrong could have been the face equivelant of a heel Barry Windham.

I would like to see those statistics as well.

I think that's something we can agree on. ...do you plan to order WMXX?

Hmmm... As I said, Ive only watched Raw the last 3 weeks, since Benoit won the Rumble. I didnt feel like I saw anything that really sold HBK as a gurantee for the signing. To me it seemed like it was booked as 'HHH-Benoit, with the outside possibility of a Shawn appearance. Maybe I missed something. And the crowd didnt seem like it any different for Shawn than they were Benoit. Seemed to be about the same pops and reactions. I dont think any really showed there to be any real interest in a HBK v HHH v Benoit match. Then again, I dont really fucking care, I just want to see WMXX end with Benoit holding up the belt.

Imo, I think this country might give marriage a bit too much credit, considering how many broken and bad homes there are. Whats the divorce rate again? Dont get me wrong, obviously the ideal family situation would be a mom and a dad and children and then extended family. Kids being raised in a healthy situation like this can learn and grow to be fine adults themselves. But seriously, how often does that happen in this country? I might just be skewed due to the sheer amount of sad, broken homes Ive seen, but they just seem to outnumber the good family lives. I personally would prefer a child growing with two loving moms or two loving dads then growing up with fighting, hurtful, abusive, or problematic parents. Of course, gay couples wouldnt always be Mike and Carol Bradyesque either.

Seriously people, no disrespect to any of your religious beliefs or anything, but why should anyone take advice on sexual issues from the Catholic church? Shouldnt the thousands of child molestation(often homosexual at that) kinda bar their leaders from saying anything about sexual laws or mores?

Why not?

Garvin got the belt because he was the only one that would take it. Flair wanted to drop the belt to somebody, so he could win it back at Starrcade that year and boost hype for the show. Everyone knew it would be a token reign and didn't want to do it. Garvin realized that this was close as he would ever get to being a main eventer and knew he could cost on the brief title reign for the rest of his career. After Garvin did win, no one would put him over and he never defended the belt until he dropped it back to Flair. I beat you by a few minutes on that Deacon

After considerable thought, I'm against it. Partner benefits/recognition? Sure. Church ceremonies? Sure, if your church is happy with it. Civil unions? No. Marriage? No. So you feel that gay couples should have the same benefits of married heterosexuals then?
