  1. Well, I can only play by the rules already set in stone by others here. As I said about the judicial nominee filibuster --- you might want to be REAL careful about what precedents you set down as, eventually, you'll be hit by them as well. Oh, INTERN! INTERN! INTERN! -=Mike hmmm...Im afraid you lost me with that one
  2. None of the candidates are responsible for the AWOL issue. That's been brought up in liberal circles since 2000. Mike was talking about the policy attacks on Bush by democratic candidates. I was pointing out that this is simply bullshit. Surely, you understand this, don't you? As pointed out, the link you linked to was a legitimate policy disagreement with Kerry's politics. This isn't "Bush lied about WMD." "Bush sold the country out" "Haliburton! Haliburton! Haliburton!" -=Mike "Interns! Interns! Interns!" The GOP hasn't touched the story. They don't NEED to. Some might, but the Bush campaign, most likely, won't comment on it, outside of saying something to the effect of "no comment" when asked about it. This simply will force Kerry to stop the character attacks on Bush as he knows he might have some problems there. -=Mike i was only talking about you Mikey. You have a problem with people mentioning such things as 'No WMDs in Iraq' and the Haliburton issue....but noone here has said the word 'intern' more than you.

  4. So they attack him on a legitmate topic like his foreign policy voting record and all of a sudden this is a smear campaign? Please. The guy has made some very stupid decisions in foreign policy, and this is in a whole different league than the "OMG BUSH DIDN'T SERVE" bullshit that is trying to get passed off as a real issue. He was pointing out that the Republicans HAVE started mentioning Kerry and his policies. Christ, is this really that hard?
  5. This will be the most brutal campaign any of us have ever seen...the Nam and this intern thing have started it.

    Bonnaroo 04

Good choices Mole. With Dark Star and the Dead...itd be like seeing a Grateful Dead show two days in a row. Yea, I doubt the Eagles will end up playing, but its a better chance than my other choice of Buffalo Springfield. At least the Eagles have been touring lately; Buffalo Springfield hasnt played together since 69 and would require the oft-rumored Stills/Young/etc reunion rumors to finally actually happen.

Eagles Moody Blues Buffalo Springfield Dickey Betts Eagle Eye Cherry Umphreys McGee Big Wu America Simon & Garfunkle Arlo Guthrie Moe.
  8. Alice in Chains - Nutshell(unplugged dvd)
  9. Eddie is already over. Oh you mean def Kurt? I don't see that happening. I doubt he'll win the WWE Championship this Sunday too. I smell a troll...
  10. damn, now thats some serious mudslinging there. good lord. this will be a BRUTAL campaign
  11. apparently HHH doesnt know that...
  12. The gov't doesn't tend to, you know, endorse (heck, participate) in rape. It is a generalization, but it is sadly fitting with the words of, say, the Democratic Presidential nominees. -=Mike ...Being "for" human rights is useless if you won't do anything to make it happen. Would you feel it necessary to travel to go to any other dictatorship and liberate those people? I have no idea as to what Snuffbox is trying to say at this point. I just asked a question out of curiosity...it has nothing to do with Bush or politics. More a comparison of the two cultures/societies, which I already said. I know Im asking alot to stary away fro politics and just analyze an entire situation...
  13. CSNY - Our House
  14. The gov't doesn't tend to, you know, endorse (heck, participate) in rape. I never said it did...I just wondered if such overall comparative stats existed. Its more a 'societal' question than 'political'. I certainly am not comparing George Bush to Saddam Hussein and his regime. I dislike Bushs presidency, but by no means do I think he is evil.
  15. Flair is my favorite wrestler of all time, and his been since I started really getting into wrestling in like '92. Chris Benoit is by far my favorite worker of the past few years and right now. Im sure this had some bearing on my opinion of the match. To me, its like if the Smashing Pumpkins and Alice in Chains(my two favorite broken bands) played a show together and forgot a few lyrics, missed a few notes, or played a lil offkey....it would still be the best concert Ive ever seen. make any sense?
  16. Eagles - One Of These Nights
  17. yea, RRR, we have differing opinions on this match. Im sure neither of us will agree. And, just so you know, I watched the match as a total mark. Question - Will you be watching HBK-Benoit next week? I expect a lame swerve...
  18. Id like to see some statistics on rape for America vs. Iraq just for the hell of it...
  19. the business was exposed a long time ago
  20. im not a liberal
  21. How much the final Niro is shown?
  22. I gave the match one 1/4* as a bonus for Flairs chest, thats not too extravagant. I explained why I gave it ***1/4...if its bad because its not what you thought, or because it wasnt Royce Gracie vs. Bruce Lee in his prime, Im sorry. Its my opinion and I explained it.
  23. I thought this was another quality read, a very good review. But, I disagree with your opinion. I thought it was the best wrestling Ive seen on tv in over 2 years(not a really difficult thing to accomplish; and I havent really watched much since 00). And I gave Flair-Benoit ***1/4. Two stars for a 'solid match', thats kinda my basic grade for that, another 1/2 each to the heat/crowd and the time/tv quality/clean finish, and a bonus 1/4 star for Flairs bloody chest. Just my opnions though, and I certainly respect yours....good job, and good luck with all the shit thatll keep you from doing this for awhile.
  24. Smashing Pumpkins - 1979(video)
  25. I've been trying to think of term for someone who is "issue-by-issue". "Intelligent" keeps springing to mind. thatd be a good word for it
