I drafted horrible. Parker, Jamaal Tinsley, and Darko were on my team, and none of them played. Fucking 6 on 9 right off the bat. I think I've got my ship righted. I hope.

I had a feeling that this was going to happen. From a personal, selfish standpoint, I'm disapointed. Mondo was always one of my favorite wrestlers to watch, and I can safely say that CZW won't be the same, or as good, without Mondo. From a human standpoint, it's the smart thing to do. His body simply couldn't keep up with the deathmatch style of wrestling; in fact, no one who did the CZW style of deathmatches for an extended time period could; Zandig is broken, Beater and Lobo have either quit or taken extensive time off, and Gage has moved past regular deathmatches. Thanks for everything Mondo, thanks man.

What's the point of starting someone if they aren't going to play? I check my rosters every day and I usually plan in advance, so someone isn't gonna slip through the cracks. I just drafted a shitty team, that's all.

Huss. I'm also surprised at the lack of a deathmatch, especially when the company's "motto" is "come for the wrestling, stay for the lighttubes." Last year had Corp vs. Necro in the Drunken Deathmatch, which was funny for Necro's one-liners and Corp just passing out in the middle of the ring. Night 2 had a six-man suckfest involving Necro, Corp, Webb, Pain, Rollin', and Tony. I'd rather have Corp in there instead of Mickie and have him and Ian tech it up, but guess Corp wasn't there. And what's the estimate on the number of tapes and DVD's this show will be? I'm thinking 2 for tapes, maybe 3 depending on the number of matches tomorrow, and 4-6 for DVD's.
