  1. Layla is hot, but man, that hair.
  2. That was some crazy shit. WARRIOR LASER EYES
  3. That Stephen A. Smith video has to be the funniest thing I've seen in months, legit. Whew, my face hurts.
  4. JT or Milena, if given the choice of which one to poke.
  5. He says that like it's a bad thing. Better to run out of missiles than soldiers.
  6. Okay, so WWE does "sports entertainment," not wrestling. All right then. What's being thrown out now isn't entertaining, and since the wrestling has been almost completely phased out there's no longer any sport involved. What a hollow term. I'm not even hating on Raw lately. I'm at the level of apathy now. I think the ECW relaunch was what did it, as well as the "we make movies" mentality going into overdrive since Wrestlemania. Maybe it's because I've been watching a lot of indy matches on YouTube lately, but it never hit me until recently how utterly devoid this supposed wrestling show is of wrestling. The ring doesn't even freakin' exist in this whole DX/McMahons storyline.
  7. I used to be one of those "the crowd can ruin things for me by being too smarky and taking over the show" guys, but fuck that. Seeing ECW get perverted beyond recognition has me wishing the crowds would be MORE vocal. I mean, the "this is awesome" chants and others in the same positive vein are kinda nerdy, but fans showing their disapproval of something? I'll always endorse that.
  8. Hey Marvin, holla at Lindsey.
  9. "Pele is king of the soccer field. To be king of your bedroom, use Viagra."
  10. See, I know this, yet it's still getting my goat. I just don't want this... thing around anymore. pardon miasma (12:58:41 AM): I think we can nail wildpegasus on the My Eyebrow Is On Fire Precedent: if you can be banned for insulting an imaginary person, you can be banned for anything. Kyliejunge (1:00:32 AM): Trying to have any kind of posting discourse with him is like arguing with a four year old. They simply don't know what their problem is. "Haha, you landed in Molasses Swamp!" "I did not!" "You're in Molasses Swamp!" "I AM NOT!" "You're in Molasses Swamp, you're in Molasses Swamp!"
  11. Just make me a mod again for two minutes. It's all I'd need.
  12. This is close to the core of why people don't connect with politicians anymore. The average American and their politicians speak completely different languages. A real, everyday person would have said "listen, you're endorsing an amendment that would prevent your own daughter from getting married. Come on, what kind of garbage is that?" But noooooo, it's just more and more excessive legalese that requires talking heads to decode simple speeches for people. No one gives a fuck, so the "insiders" take over more and more and you've got a disgruntled populace that feels more disconnected from its governmental institutions than ever.
  13. BAN PLZ
  14. Lovecraft231: Post Evaluator Extraordinaire.
  15. WP's posts make me want to scream at my monitor, as if it will make them go away.
  16. There's nothing wrong with being a professional gambler. It's kinda cool actually. Iggy doesn't seem to have figured that part out.
  17. They would, but anyone who does gets smeared into oblivion and summarily dismissed.
  18. You can't possibly tell me that the Right wasn't raising all kinds of hell about Kosovo. Everyone does it when the other side does something, good or bad. Comparing the current war to WWII is absurd too. As hard as it may be to admit for supporters of the effort, you can't deny that we're the aggressors in this case. In 1941, another country attacked us. Big ol' difference. While there was a sizeable neutrality movement before Pearl Harbor was attacked, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who didn't support what we were doing afterward. Progress has been made, and it's wonderful to see a young democracy form and figure itself out. The dissent now stems from the realization of how poorly planned the whole thing was, and how it was executed with astounding impotence once the invasion was over and it was time to rebuild and clean up. This was what we were seeing in May of 2003. The American people are feeling a little conned now that it's July of 2006 and Iraq is still a mess. Can you really blame them? It's got organization now, but no stable place has daily bombings and political officials being attacked or killed on a regular basis. If the nitwits that decided to do this would just admit they fucked up and just wanted a fight instead of trying to sugarcoat everything, there wouldn't be nearly as much dissent. And it was barely reported in different news outlets, but the special CIA task force assigned to find Osama bin Laden (remember him?) has been disbanded and the agents assigned to different duties. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
  19. Good thing InuYasha got banned. Ohshiiwaitasec
  20. Nope, I've just noticed how the dude talks about stuff. Seriously, what an annoying bitch. He needs to go grab a titty or somethin', man. It'll balance him out a little.
  21. "I'm a massive tool."
  22. When Scarlett says her bra is uncomfortable, you're supposed to encourage its removal. That doesn't mean Michael Bay sucks, it means he's gay.
  23. It'd be awesome if Tod Gordon showed up this week to rip apart the WWE-ized product and took back "his" promotion, making it an ECW for 2006 with Punk and other (talented) young'uns leading the charge. That's really the only thing that can save this right now. Shame it won't happen. What bothers me most is that the entire build for the relaunch of the promotion centered around being sick of what WWE is all about, then it promptly became another WWE production, with all of the people who decried it going right along with this product. Every bit of Joey Styles' initial "shoot" has been contradicted at this point. Given how much they were pushing ECW as an alternative, those like myself who were really hyped about it can't really be called stupid. I figured they wouldn't bother crapping all over their own Raw and Smackdown shows if it wasn't going to be something that was truly different.
  24. Wallace ran under the banner of the American Independent party. Strom Thurmond and the States' Rights party in 1948 were the Dixiecrats you're thinking of. My southern born and raised grandmother was the only person in her precinct in New York City to vote for the guy.
  25. The "interpretation" YTMNDs stretch way too far to be funny.
