  1. I'm locking myself in an underground bunker.
  2. No wonder you have problems. You like Jeff Gordon.
  3. Jesus, you're getting compliments from a female. Gift horse, man.
  4. Of course, with me it's open-and-shut, but some of those who place more belief in the honor of the Executive branch may disagree.
  5. That's an actual contested point?
  6. How appropriate.
  7. Puh-leaze. Stop trying to drag him into this.
  8. The military had a plan for invading Iraq before 9/11, just like they have plans for invading every country on the planet probably if need be. We've probably got a humdinger of an invasion plan if we ever scrap with Russia or something. Back to the topic, why doesn't anyone ever mention the two weeks in which White House E-mail databases have holes in them? Anyone working there is required to save every bit of correspondence, but months ago Libby's legal team discovered that there were at least a dozen E-mails that no longer existed (just one case among others where his own legal team has accidentally uncovered more improprieties). Even if you don't think there's any chance of convictions or lawsuits succeeding, at least admit that these are some scumbaggy mofos working within our Presidential Palace.
  9. Whenever people talk about money "lining (insert leader) and his cronies' pockets" it sounds so simplistic, like a TV plot. It's the real world, think three-dimensionally.
  10. I've always wanted to like the Giants, but never can.
  11. Because we were all waiting for Lovecraft's statement on the situation.
  12. http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/07/13/cia...t.ap/index.html Have at it, guys. Let's talk about something that's, again, making it fashionable for Republicans to attack the current Administration.
  13. fuck you nigga you never been thurr
  14. Carnival did his job and killed the thread, so why did it resume?
  15. I don't get it. What's so weird about that?
  16. Hey WP, come over to the secret club for stupid jerks.
  17. Okay, so put it somewhere else that isn't going to be a perpetual shitstorm.
  18. My point was that the marketing was temporary, but the registration was enough of a long-term investment to make it okay to forgive the hook used. These young'uns will hit the real world one day and become more reasoned and less easily influenced.
  19. Is it so difficult to deal with the inherent liberalism of voting drives for those who argue against it? Seriously, it isn't just young voter registration drives, it's for all age groups. Those who aren't part of the electoral system are outside of the established political culture, which is creaking and groaning along with a fuel of old ideals and contributions and is close to broken in the minds of most Americans. It's fine if you support institutions that are already in place, but I'm curious if the philosophy behind voter registration programs is where you've got your beef.
  20. Anti-Zionist? Anti-Semitic? It's the same as saying anti-Germanic or whatever the fuck else. It's no different, but it's been scarred into everyone's heads that the absolute shittiest of shitty people are those who don't like Jewish people. No other ethnic group elicits such outrage upon people remotely disapproving of them. We don't feel sorry for all the other groups that have been massacred en masse over the years, but you mention Israel or Jewish people with a negative tone and someone around you will do their damndest to make you know that you shouldn't have said that. I don't know what's so anti-Semitic about questioning the Zionist philosophy when it was obviously going to cause a LOT of problems. What prevented the Jewish population of Earth from, I don't know... not having their own country and just being like every other religion? Okay, we're gonna declare that a bunch of black people have to move out of a project in Harlem so that a white supremacist group could move in because that's where their family in this country first lived one or two hundred years ago. Just debate it like any other issue, it'll be good for you.
  21. "that Baby Huey guy." Christ. Matt's in a situation he shouldn't be in unless a lot of other options fail.
  22. Oh, hell no. Or someone who isn't you.
  23. NASA is really the embodiment of the "American Way" more than a lot of other things we do, but an entire generation has been born and grown up knowing it as nothing more than an agency that peaked in the 60s and simply performs vague experiments on a space station now. Guys, we're talking about moving the human race beyond the boundaries of Earth. That's some incredible shit to really think about, and it's a fucking shame that it disappeared from everyone's radar of importances after we drove around on the Moon a little.
  24. Danville_Wrestling agreed with something I posted. Hell done froze over.
