I never got the "Save a horse, ride a cowboy" thing. First, there's no sudden horse population crisis. Second, it implies that the girl would want to have the horse fuck her before a cowboy. It makes sense when you realize the only people who still say that are probably breaking horses' backs, but before it became trite and on the level of truck stop T-shirt it sure as hell didn't. And why would a cowboy be stronger than a big-ass horse? If it was like that, horses would ride on people. EDIT: I hope lovecraft didn't add that "WTF" thing in the above picture. Too many internet gag pictures are ruined by going "HAY GUYS THE JOKE IS HERE"

I fell asleep watching a video in Winamp, like I usually do. Then, during my dream, the majority of which I've forgotten, young Forrest Gump appeared. I woke up to realize that I'd left the soundtrack to the movie on my Winamp playlist. First time something from the outside world has influenced my dreams that I can remember.

Why the hell would it matter? Just have Heyman say he's glad that spinning piece of tin doesn't show up on his show anymore and go about your business. This'll be the fourth week of ECW and we still haven't gotten a real rebellious Heyman promo anyway.

So the new preview says that Paul Heyman is going to address the status of the ECW title, but that doesn't make any sense. Except for house shows, it hasn't even been defended yet. What necessitates a statement about it?

Downhome loaded that YTMND up with too much stuff. Just the Simple Plan song will suffice. I'm glad Edge is the champ again since he's easily the best thing on Raw and has been for months, but why not pin Cena? Goddamn backstage happenings. RVD SMOKES AND HAS BEEN MARKETED AS SUCH! Cripes. Then again, what we saw was probably a shortened version of what SNME would have been. Cena's protected like crazy in any booking decisions, so it's not such a shocker to see him not take the pin despite technically being the guy in the worst shape. Look at it this way, it wasn't a Cena win via the STFU or somethin'. The DX stuff was all right when it was revealed that the backstage area was deserted thanks to their cookout, because that's just a nice, fun thing to do. It should have ended there though, or had them not appear again in any form until Vince's promo. Everyone could be all "what the hell? What's up with Vince's microphone?" Then you show DX in the production truck. This isn't difficult stuff. "Mr. Fuji wasn't over there!" was the line of the night. And oh yeah, good job for making women look like opportunistic sluts yet again with Candice going after DX even after trying to get into the pants of their archrival.

Yeah, I remember reading about Samoa Joe way back in the day when WOW magazine existed and they ran an article about UPW sometime in 2000 or 2001 (it also had Cena as "The Prototype"). I didn't know much more about the guy than how he looked in the publicity shot the magazine kept using, but it was good to see him pop up on the wrestling scene in a huge way a few years later.
