Whoops, I forgot to post how "Czech" would wear Leena out if "he" ever got the chance.

I meant anything I said, I know that. Seriously, Jeff's the better Hardy. Not like he could have been a main eventer or anything, but dude was enough of a sympathetic rag doll in his matches to be a midcard fixture. Matt's never been interesting to me and is too big to have the same kind of ringwork.

Why can't ECW just be built upon, uh, wrestling fans? I know WWE is different (for the worse) than other promotions, but not so much that you can make it sound like people will only follow one company. "WWE fans," ugh. I don't like being called that.

I'll tell you what, that crowd was aching for Carlito to pull out that win. The tower in the corner spot convinced the half of the crowd that wasn't into the match to start paying attention. The McMahon crap was kept to a minimum at least. Heaven help us if he had put himself in another PPV match.

Ether is a hell of a drug.

Sometimes I wish I had the unflinching nature of those who make 9/11 photoshops. Say everything twice...

Bah, not fucked up, just graphic. See guys, it's not all tentacles.

But I do have a great interest in indie rock. I'm not some fagola about it like you guys though. Fuck if I could tell you the acceptable critical criteria for thinking something's good.

Here's another topic: Czech and I were using each other's accounts from June 11th to June 19th. Few outside of obvious places were quick to notice. People lapped up whatever I did because I was Czech. it was funny.

Opener was mediocre, but good enough I guess. Randy Orton matches are like slow, forgettable action movies where just enough crap happens to convince you that you just saw a match, but it's gone the next day. Umaga killed Eugene and his old gimmick buddies in the best way possible, in a match that I forgot was on the show by the time I left the sports bar. Kamala/Umaga should last until Raw tomorrow night, where Umaga beats Kamala in 30 seconds. Flair/Foley was okay as advancement towards a big SummerSlam match. Anything else will be a waste of time. The Intercontinental title match was fun, as at least you saw the guys try some things that went outside the WWE style. Carlito's rope-to-rope-to-floor leap was something outta PWG. Fun, enjoyable, but not really sound as a wrestling match. Second best of the night though. RVD/Edge was absolutely criminal in its placement on the card. Were this the real main event of the evening, people would have a much, much better opinion of this show. You could have had RVD offer Cena a rematch on Raw earlier. That said, this match rocked pretty hard. Edge was busting out some No Mercy moves and that powerbomb onto the top of the security wall was sick as fuck. A misplaced main event caliber match. And by the way... what the fuck is the plan with Edge now? This dude keeps getting jerked around. Kane/Kane was there. Just dull. I feel so sorry for Kane. The Undertaker reportedly offered Kane a match where he would break the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak in the Undertaker's last match, but Kane said no! Whattaguy. Cena/Sabu is a weird one. How the hell were the C-show guys beating up ECW mainstays? I'll bet most of the fans there couldn't figure out who at least two of the Raw dudes were. Sabu didn't look like a puss, Cena looked like someone who needed help but wasn't a puss either, so whatever. Still felt like a TV main event or something. I can't get into this DX reunion. They really need to explain how this really came back about and chill on the pranking shit. I was rooting for the Spirit Squad for a second, then decided I didn't like any of the people on the screen. HHH doesn't know how the hell to be a face. Look at his posing and shit. Terrible. Boring match too. 5-on-2 is shit we've been seeing on Raw for what's felt like years anyway. Star Ratings: Orton/Angle: ** Umaga/Eugene: 1/4* Foley/Flair: *1/4 Carlito/Nitro/Benjamin: *** RVD/Edge: ***4/5 Kane/Kane: 1/2* Cena/Sabu: **1/4 DX/Spirit Squad: **

ECW's return to the ECW Arena - Live Results
Art Sandusky replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
I wish I could have been there just to see RVD carrying the ECW and WWE titles at the ECW Arena. That's one of those things that I see and end up saying "well, it could be worse," and then it hits that we're still not even a month into this promotion's life yet. "Yeah, these matches are neat and all, but who the hell are these people?" It gave me a feeling of those different promotions like WWA or whatever the heck promotion Hogan actually had a match for that started ambitiously but fizzled out. This one won't fizzle out with Vince's bankrolling it, and at least shows some minimal promise thus far. The PPV tonight and Tuesday's show will be massive. -
Hey, if we don't respond, maybe he'll stop. Oshii...

Go back to banging big momma, Special K.

I like the spacing between PPVs. You can have mid-upper card angles pay off in TV main events and save the big stuff for PPV.
-
Well I'll be damned, that IS what I said.

That's cool, everyone else seems content to let someone else fix it at some point. I mean, it's not like the problem is yours or mine, it's everybody's!

I think we should be worried the more and more we hear that Q-word in relation to Iraq.
-
We're not building bases because of any difficulties, we're building bases in order to influence the area for as long as possible. Come on, isn't it obvious? We never should have gone, and we need to leave as soon as we can. Iraq is like a rodeo bull and we're the rope around his nuts. Remove it and let the bull relax and live its life like any other bull. They'll have a much easier time sorting out their true differences and coming to REAL compromises that will be far more durable in the long run once we're gone. Think about this like the average Iraqi, and think about all of the things you have to consider in your daily life. First, you've got these foreign soldiers walking around, and they've been walking around now for over three years. They said their mission was accomplished right around this time three years ago, but are still here. Now, thanks to nutjobs who really hate that country that's occupying you, you have to consider that today may be the last day you step out your front door. Your bus might get blown away or something. Sure, you can say this is a worry here too, but you'd have to have balls of steel to compare the dangers posed daily in Baghdad to, say, Chicago or New York. Baghdad is comparable size to Chicago, but that's all. Oh yeah, hopefully you'll still have power and water when you get home, and this whole thing is predicated on you having a job where the unemployment is still incredibly high. "Hey, at least Sadaam made the trains run on time." I kid, I'm glad he's gone, even though it was pre-emptive on our part. But now, in June of 2006, we need to get the fuck outta there as soon as possible. Like John Murtha said, we've done all we can do and need to just leave. I can't think of more positives than negatives for continuing to stay there, so what, or who, is driving this stay-the-course, base-building official philosophy that we have on Iraq?

Finding out Beck is a Scientologist did that for me.

Or people who say that could really believe that Luger killed her. I concede to your ironclad logic.

People protesting abortion clinics, maybe? Come on man, that took me two seconds to think of. EDIT: Also, anti-fur people.

Lita's way hotter when she's trying to be some hardxcore princess instead of being some sleazy bitch (see above).

You're more likely to hear "murderer!" being tossed around by adults, you know.
