  1. I like Edges new theme, fits in very well with his heel persona. You're kidding. Edge's is noise and then breaks into the same white boy shit everyone else has. If you listen to the words, youll know what I mean. Who really does this. It should instantly tell you what kind of wrestler this person is.
  2. Rhyno's is barely good. I don't watch Smackdown often enough. I forgot all about Cena.
  3. Really if you think about it, themes that can actually say something about the wrestler they announce are severely lacking, especially since the InVasion days. Good theme music that's still around, off the top of my head (in terms of quality and being wrestler-related): Christian Victoria (although Tatu was awesome too) Hurricane Kurt Angle JBL Mohmammed Hassan Jerry Lawler (don't fuck with the Golden Gates of Kiev) HHH Benoit Kane Shelton Benjamin Undertaker (duh) Rock Evolution Batista (sorta) Jericho (although the version that played in his very first appearance was the best) Vince McMahon Trish Eddie Guererro Can't remember any others. If you were to ask me to list good music five years ago, it'd be way longer.
  4. Well duh, that's why I said it. Man, I need to do acid one day.
  5. Just don't look behind you. I really don't want you to see me, and I've done a great job concealing myself thus far.
  6. I agree with JAxl's brand of masculine burliness in this case.
  7. He sent me a .gif of a red ball rapidly bouncing about when I was Robo-Tripping. I don't think he'd fuck with you to the degree that would freak you out. He's a benevolent drug use encourager.
  8. I really don't have much beef with the guy 'cept how he was in the original Orange Bowl thread and after the Rose Bowl. Some assertions made were just products of not really knowing about football until the last couple of years (ie. "Vince Young should be a running back"), and he had a soft spot for Tennessee and always gave the SEC props. I think his basic problem is just not admitting when he might not know much about a subject or team. In those cases, more prudent folk (like myself) stay quiet or preface a post with "I'm not up to speed on this, but..." or some variant.
  9. Hmm, I would have dropped OU to #5 or so, possibly #6.
  10. The more I think about it, the more I agree with the above post, 'cept Michigan as the Big Ten champs (Ohio State is scary next year) and Florida State as the ACC champs. I can't come close to calling a winner in the ACC this year. The SEC is in a rebuilding phase, with LSU losing Saban and going back to just-below-national-champion level this year and the next. Auburn's losing a lot of its big stars, but Alabama's on the rise, and Arkansas can be golden one year and crap the next. In the East Georgia's losing a good number of starters, Florida's a year away from an SEC title still with the new coach, and South Carolina's got a LOT of work to do. Tennessee's year will be this year if they don't want the kind of ungodly competition the conference has been the last several years, and I see them being a good one or two-loss team.
  11. Hah, Mole thought the little emo bitch was AoO.

  13. Man, you shoulda known it was a bad idea to call me at midnight on New Year's Eve. I would have talked a bit longer, but I was getting what ended up being about five different people feeling the need to call me at the same time. Sorry anyway, I just didn't expect to hear from you until you were closer and the buzz had at least halfway worn off.
  14. One of these years they have to actually do it, and do it in some dusty abandoned lot somewhere.
  15. Meh. It's a good system in theory, regardless of who uses it. Can't blame them for that. Neither group are the first and neither will be the last. (Psst, it was a joke. I wasn't serious.)
  16. Yes, Edwin wins.
  17. Mike didn't care so much that he came back and made one of the larger posts I've seen in months.
  18. I love how the last couple of years there have been teams that were willing to throw down in an extra game just to prove themselves.
  19. Oh, and this was expected from me probably, but I see Tennessee having a great shot at making a BCS bowl next year. Maybe not as the SEC champs, but as an at-large.
  20. Awesome. Thanks for putting this on, even if I did have an underacheiving season. GO TSM-VOLS IN 2005!
  21. Man. My friend (who doesn't even like OU much, just thinks Stoops is a good guy) destroyed the remote after it was 14-7 and desperately looked for other things to throw while he spent the rest of the first half putting it back together. I'm leaving my sig for a little while still, because although you USC might have kicked Auburn's ass also, it wouldn't have been the absolute massacre that tonight's game was. I know Tommy Tuberville wanted to say "Are you kidding me?!" when he was asked at halftime if they'd put up a better fight than Oklahoma. They certainly would, but I'd have to pick USC in that fantasy matchup. They'd win by a good margin of 15-20 probably, but at least you'd have a competitive team in there. Jason Campbell wouldn't have made the boneheaded plays that White did tonight. I won't call Auburn co-champs though. USC showed their might tonight. I just wish it had been a different opponent. 'sides, that Tuberville quote is really awesome.
  22. I want to see Benoit disappear off of TV for a month for no reason just to watch this place self-destruct.
