This thread was at least a mild success, even though a lot of news items were posted outside of it.

I rather liked the idea postulated by someone I read who said that Sting should stalk HHH or Benoit or some big name for a long time, like he did Hogan in 1997. Just appear in the rafters, be mysterious as hell. Okay, almost a year, like in WCW, would be waaaaay too long, but three months of Sting mysteriously appearing would be pretty darned good. Plus, Sting can still work a match. He might not put on any ***** classic, but damned if he couldn't get a solid *** PPV match at least.

Stuff just seemed jollier with him around. (starts a candlelight vigil for his return)
