Why do people continue to hold the pump on the gas after they've hit what they paid for inside? Do they think that they're going to fool the pump or something? (looking around shiftily after the gas shuts off) "I'm getting more than I paid for... hehehe..." Him and his friends were in the store sure, but they didn't go into the back room with him or anything. I had no real reason to think they had anything to do with it. Oh, and in South Carolina, employers can fire someone just for giving them a funny look, so no wrongful termination suits for me.

I was fired from my job at Movie Gallery today for selling porn to an 18 year old, who gave it to a 16 year old outside the store. The mother of the 16 year old threatened a suit against the company until the kid confessed and said that an 18 year old bought it for him, but I was still fired anyway, even after all suits and potential charges were dropped. I always had a feeling the company had it out for me from day one, but damn, they could have at least gotten me on something substantial that I could have, you know, controlled.

Safe to say that this is the line of the day, I assume?
