  1. I've always worked on Monday nights, so I've missed the MNF opening until this week. Are they fuckin' serious? Like, that was a joke, right? I'm also really hungry for a 2007 GMC Sierra all of a sudden.
  2. It won't be soon enough.
  3. We couldn't get a running game going against Alabama, and Erik Ainge's three interceptions in the first half had me suffering from 2005 flashbacks. And oh yeah, we've lost LaMarcus Coker for the next three weeks, when we're facing South Carolina, LSU, and Arkansas. There are plenty of things to worry about with Tennessee. Any mentions of the national title are a bit of a longshot. I'd be overjoyed to simply beat out Florida for the SEC East.
  4. Christopher Daniels dresses very well. That setup and larger arena makes TNA look 150% better.
  5. I don't mean as war criminals. There seems to have been a lot of impropriety involved long before the first shot was fired. Blair's in the clear anyway, since he hasn't committed 135,000 Britons to this.
  6. I thought Ariel already had this demographic cornered? Crap, forgot all about her. No idea how, but I did. I'm none of the above and I'd still wear that out.
  7. I want the Million Dollar Belt so badly, but damn that 38-inch waist noise.
  8. Sooo... avoid them but make sure to take advantage of these deals?
  9. That'd be stupid. I don't hate Michigan, but arguing against them being #2 when they're going to face the #1 team before a single bowl seems to have touched a massive nerve here. Even suggesting they might drop a game before then is met with disdain. A lot of college football's appeal comes from crazy-ass upsets anyway. You think teams won't give a #2 team their best shot?
  10. So what continues to make policymakers believe otherwise? We're being told 2010 as a withdrawl date, with, of course, the "this is all subject to change" disclaimer. That would be SEVEN YEARS after our leader and face for the world stood before a banner proclaiming "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED." I know it's been brought up before, but at this stage you really have to wonder if there are criminal implications for something like this.
  11. Anyone who thinks that this clusterfuck is an indication of American military might, they're sorely mistaken. As 2GOLD said, we're better when we aren't setting out on pre-emptive invasions and trying to pretend that business can remain normal at home. Any nation outside of China would be royally fucked up if they messed with us, and I say China is an exception based on their sheer numbers. We're at least 10-15 years ahead of every other military in the world. So yeah, don't look at the current conflict and say that we're weak, because if we truly were we'd have even more countries trying to step to us.
  12. Known? He still does it. Every frickin' ball has too much effort in it.
  13. If it isn't, we'll certainly be told it is. Maybe my beef with the Michigan at #2 argument is that they sorta came out of nowhere and didn't skyrocket up the rankings until the thrashing of Notre Dame, and Notre Dame isn't great. You can make the "they're winning still, even if it's close" point, but I think they'd be embarassed in a BCS bowl. Say, kinda like last year. ahhhh....so USC should be number 2 because you thought USC was in the top 5 before any actual games were played...gotcha....and "Notre Dame isnt that great"....who are the great teams to you then? USC should be #2 because they haven't done anything to lose that position. Michigan's up there, I'm just not buying them as the second best team in the country right now. I'd put them at #5, with West Virginia, Texas, USC, and Ohio State above them. Yes, a one-loss Texas team. Slayer, I was talking about Notre Dame. Anyone who thought they had a chance against Ohio State last year in the Fiesta Bowl was deluding themselves. Michigan was sorta middling last year outside of that crazy-ass game against Penn State that people forget about since USC/ND was the same day and happened to be wild also.
  14. Good, now there'll be someone for all of the obese freak/goth/whatthefuckever males to cheer.
  15. So are we going to let them conduct their nuclear tests at our messageboard or not? If we don't fight them here, Washington could be a smoldering crater tomorrow!
  16. I think your problem is more when people disagree with you. Call me crazy, but you don't get pissy like this until that happens. I mean, trying to tell someone they're wrong because they weren't old enough at the time of the event to fully comprehend it? I demand you post scanned copies of any and all diplomas and degrees you've earned in your life before I take anything you say seriously. Christ. Back on topic, OJ got off because, as noted earlier by a much more intelligent person than myself, the prosecution became the defendants. That and you're seriously fronting if you don't think the jury was afraid of setting off riots in an area that was ravaged by them a mere several years earlier and because the trial was rife with racial tension, even if it was mostly an angle the defense was using.
  17. not much, i just showed up and started posting like a mishmash of different metasnobs 'round here. I see what you did there.
  18. That's a picture I didn't think anyone liked.

  21. If she's still here, then there's no reason to ban Spoony. (cue the "what have/has I/she done wrong?" posts)
  22. There's a big-ass glass faced cabinet behind the bar at ours, with at least a hundred different kinds of beer readily visible. Since I never did bartending there, I don't know much more.
  23. On the bright side, I can get around to joining the 100 Beer Club at Mellow Mushroom. If I like the first hundred, I can go for two hundred. I'll get to talk about beers like a conoisseur or somethin'.
  24. I don't think I've ever been this irritable either. GOD WOULD EVERYONE JUST DIE AND LEAVE ME ALONE
