I don't understand how a match doesn't age well or hold up over time. If it was a classic at one point but has been topped since, why isn't it still a great classic match? That's like saying Ali sucks because there have been arguably better boxers since. Or a Beatles, early Stones or Doors album suck because they were recorded on 4 track compared to the production of bands today.

Plus, the crowd didn;t seem to upset by the incident since they were chanting Eddie's name afterwards.

I don't hate bands like Saliva, Nickelback or Fuel. Don't love them either. Their just there. Good enough to listen to when they come on the radio but don't care enough about them to buy their albums. Since we're on the subject of bands having labels on them. How come The White Stripes are being called "post modern?" Why not just call them rock? What was considered modern rock anyway? Bands like Creed and Matchbox Twenty?

I think Smackdown is over all better, but there are little things on Raw that I like better then some things on Smackdown. Jericho, Christian promo's, womens wrestling, etc. I'll take those over Vince, Steph, Albert, Dawn, Torrie, Nidia anyday. Smackdown would be even better if I didn't read the spoilers but I can only blame myself for that.

I don't remember the whole feud but wasn't it Lawler he kept in the sharpshooter so the ref reversed the decision? I just remember the cliq having the WWE as their personal playground at the time and being pissed because Bret was being "wasted" and deserved much better. Much like AS is with Angle these days.

When was it reported Angle would be headlining Wrestlemania again? Also, about the whole Bret/Hakushi thing. I think you people are confusing that with the jobs Bret did to Doink and Lawler. Which is even worst.

There is no reason why Eddie shouldn't have been thrown into the main event. He was red hot a few weeks back and still is hot but instead WWE throws him back in tag matches.

Ok, but other guys like Flair, Taker, Bret and Shawn all moved in and out of the main event slots at times and it didn't hurt them. People look at them and think "greats, legends, top guys, main eventers." People will, and some already do, think the same about Kurt Angle

If Kurt Angle had to retire today people would remember him as a top guy. Sure, there would be the "should of, would of, could of," debates but he would still be remember as a great.

Yeah, the Angle/Edge feud hurt him so bad. I mean, after that feud the fans stopped caring about him and sent him straight to Velocity. Angle's career was so damaged he almost had to retire.

Angle is truly an established main eventer.

A decent little feud which will lead into a good/great wrestling match. Angle has been on top for almost a year now. He needs to step down (as all top guys need to) once in a while and let other guys into the main event to freshen up the scene. Angle won't be hurt at all by this and Cena is pretty over right now so a lost won't send him to Velocity.

Speaking of MSG..... After all the anticipation, it took roughly 5 minutes this morning for WWE WrestleMania XX tickets to be completely sold out. The special ticket pre-sale started this morning at 9AM ET and all tickets were gone by roughly 9:05AM ET. Tickets to the general public were to go on sale tomorrow. Ultimo Dragon should try to get out. He said his dream was to wrestle at MSG and he did a few weekends ago. I can't imagine Ultimo is hard up for money so he should get out now before his Japan legacy is ruined.

Mae Young BTW, this is crap. I "made" this a drinking game years ago. But, instead of only wrestlers you can name anyone who is a celebrity, sports star, politician or basically anyone who's ever been on TV or in the spot light. You have 7 seconds to come up with a name or you drink. If you come up with double "Hulk Hogan" you reverse the circle and the other guy before you has to drink twice. If you come up with a triple (Hollywood Hulk Hogan) the other person drinks triple. If you name someone who already been said, you drink. This game is long and you get pretty drunk over time.
