"Hogan confirmed that he will return to New Japan for "WRESTLING WORLD 2004" at the Tokyo Dome on 1/4 (show poster above, slightly blurred until I can find a better one), but doesn't know who he will fight yet. Hogan's next plan is to enter NWATNA's major PPV convention on 11/30 and face Jeff Jarrett. New Japan will be dispatching Tiger Mask to work the PPV in America, to show that they have built a good relationship with Hogan and the companies he works with. Like the original Tiger Mask so many years ago, the talented fourth generation has chance to prove his worth to American fans."

His name was Chris Kreski.

Wade Keller says one of the moves banned is the overhead release suplex, which is mostly done by Angle.

The last I've heard is that he is in OVW working to get back in shape from his injury. Demott isn't that bad. He has pretty good promo skills and isn't that bad in the ring. He has been shit in WWE though. He should be released along with Rico, Kanyon, and a few others they never use and go to TNA.

•Most sources believe that Vince Russo will probably take a public hiatus from the company only to make his return known once Hulk Hogan is no longer involved. The story making the rounds prior to press time is that Russo will not even be allowed to appear on camera with Hulk Hogan or even be in the same building as Hogan. Some are under the impression that this is something Hogan has demanded, but others believe AOL Time Warner attorneys have insisted that Russo not take part in a show with Hogan in any capacity. The early betting line is that Russo will not take part in the angle, but will still work as a ghost writer behind the scenes. •Most TNA wrestlers are under the impression that they will not be paid extra money to appear on the Nov. 30 pay-per-view. These wrestlers believe the contracts they sign with TNA gives the company the right to book them for pay-per-view appearances as they see fit, regardless of whether the shows are held on Sunday or Wednesday. Some wrestlers have said they are simply happy to be booked that week, since they were expecting to be given the week off since the Wednesday prior to the pay-per-view is the day before Thanksgiving… •TNA Notebook: The latest word on the pay-per-view site is the Nashville Auditorium. Although TNA officials are still hoping to run an event in Las Vegas, there likely isn't enough time to obtain a promoter's license and promote the area properly… The rumor coming out of Japan is that New Japan officials allowed TNA to film the angle between Jeff Jarrett and Hulk Hogan for a fee. Some sources have estimated the fee TNA was charged to be as high as $10,000… The Tokyo Dome show Hogan worked in Japan in the semi-main event spot drew an estimated 35,000 paid, which was well below expectations. Promoters were not only banking on Hogan's name but also Bob Sapp's to draw a strong crowd, although a power outage legitimately shut down public transportation that day which killed the walk up, which is usually tens of thousands of people on show day. Sources say Hogan did speak out against the idea of appearing in the semi-main event rather than the headline spot… D-Lo Brown worked an All Japan Pro Wrestling event on Oct. 10 in Osaka. He teamed with Gigantes & Buchanan against Keiji Muto & Arashi & Tomoaki Honma. D-Lo's team won at 14:11 when D-Lo pinned Muto… Critics from within the wrestling industry continue to speak out against the idea of TNA running a major pay-per-view on such short notice. "They need to have an entire (ad) campaign in place," said one industry insider. "They need at least seven or eight weeks to do this right. This is going to be a disaster. They've just abandoned their business plan completely. This will probably be the nail in the coffin for TNA"… AAA promoter Antonio Pena was backstage at the TNA show again last week. One observer claims to have witnessed Konnan handing back the AAA title belt he has refused to give back for more than five years. Apparently, the tension between the two has settled… Two weeks ago it was pointed out that wrestlers were saying Raven isn't well liked in the TNA locker room. More specifically, that dislike comes most often from the midcard and undercard wrestlers more than the top wrestlers. Other than America's Most Wanted, Raven isn't disliked by the top wrestlers. Many of the midcard and undercard wrestlers aren't thrilled with Raven's approach behind the scenes, though, which can come across as patronizing and condescending. Main eventers see him as simply telling younger wrestlers what they need to hear but often don't want to hear…

Well Eric Young sucked ass last time he was on. Sonjay Dutt is cool from the little I've seen of him and I've never seen the other two.

This week's edition of Raw scored a 3.6 cable rating, with a 5 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. The show did hours of 3.3 and 3.8. That is up from last week's 3.4 and considering the competition that it went up against from the Yankees-Red Sox game on Fox (which did an 11.6 broadcast rating) and NFL football on ABC (8.4 broadcast rating), it's a good number. The higest rated segment on the show was the 4.2 that the overrun did. 1wrestling.com

*Sonjay Dutt & Jerrelle Clark vs. Eric Young & El Fuego

He still has Spy Hunter, the king of Hawaii movie, Walking Tall, and now this one.

I find Shane more exciting than 80% of the Raw roster and would rather see him wrestle than them.

It isn't a Dallas paper. It is a newspaper for Galveston, Texas. You can read about it on galvnews.com The Hogan deal is already working to get TNA more exposure. This article probably wouldn't have happened if Hogan hadn't come in.

When is Rock's contract with WWE up? Isn't it next year? I can't see him resigning with them and letting Vince keep getting a cut of the money.
-
The Rock has signed on to star in the New Line Cinema feature film "Instant Karma," according to Variety. The film will tell the story of a safecracker, played the Rock, who dies and is reincarnated as a series of different animals, moving his way up the food chain. Others signed to appear in the film are Pierce Brosnan, Mira Sorvino, David Alan Grier and Eartha Kitt while Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, Gene Wilder and the comedy troupe Broken Lizard are signed to voice the animals in the film. The film is set to begin production in New Orleans in April 2004, which means The Rock could technically be available for Wrestlemania XX, depending on pre-production responsibilities.

This Raw sounds fucking awesome. I hope I get to see it soon.

Hogan never had a problem with Jeff Jarrett. The whole thing was planned that night except for Russo's comments afterwards. That is what pissed off Hogan and made him leave.
-
Obviously he is signed if they are doing angles with him.
-
This is great.
-
Who didn't know this would happen? I thought it was really fucking obvious.

That picture with Jeff as world champion is just a random picture. Everytime you go to the page a different pic is there. Are these dvds going to be sold in stores or just on their website?
-
Match length shouldn't be a problem when Dutch Mantel has been booking every match go to like 7 minutes or more. Of course, hopefully he won't make the main event 15 minutes again. They've made every match longer instead of just the good ones, which is a problem. I bet Watts vs Northcutt gets like 7 or 8 minutes.

The agents had another meeting with the wrestlers this week once again stressed the company’s concern with injuries. They stressed that they want the workers to protect their necks and reiterated that the company is concerned about the number of injuries that the talent has suffered, especially to their necks. They once again told the talent to stop doing certain moves, I believe one of which was the belly-to-belly suplex.

McMahon only signed Gowan, because TNA was using him and didn't want them getting exposure for using a handicapped wrestler.
-
Linda had to come on Smackdown, because Smackdown ratings went down the shitter last week. McMahons=ratings!
