  1. Cena has allowed himself to get so bad both in the ring and on the mic, and the fans have shit all over him for it. Hunter has turned into the lesser of two evils. Its time to find a new future of the company. They tried Cena, and he failed. Next. Maybe, but putting the belt back on Triple H shouldn't be the solution. Not even in the short-term.
  2. That wouldn't be cool. And do you really think WWE will try to explain Ross being back?
  3. Man, did they ever blow it with Puder.
  4. Agreed. They either bring up guys who are good wrestlers and lumber them with crappy gimmicks or guys who simply aren't ready yet because they need to fill up the roster. It's the same thing WCW did back in 2000.
  5. From his shoot, Russo said it was the 4/14/97 show, which Cornette had a lot to do with, with matches taped from Johannesburg, South Africa and Muncie, IN. I asked Meltzer about this a while ago, and he said it was the week after the Europe show because Vince McMahon felt he he had to shake things up after the WWF Title match got destroyed in the ratings. So that would be the 4/21/97 show with the Austin/Hart streetfight, which was the first Raw I saw all the way through. The Europe show was the 3/3/97 taped show from Berlin, Germany that featured WWF World Champ Sid vs. Mankind and the Davey Boy / Owen European title match. 3/10/97 was the first "Raw is War" telecast with the pyros, Marilyn Manson music, etc. If that was Russo's first show then it makes perfect sense. Sorry, I confused it with the show taped in South Africa. However, I'm sure I read in an article in an old issue of Raw magazine that said the South Africa show did really badly in the rating and that after that the decison was made to change the direction.
  6. Is this good or bad? Bad. Ross started to sound like a confused old man in his final months with WWE and, besides that, his performaces had been going downhill for years with him constantly falling back on an endless list of crappy cliches. I was hoping Ross, and indeed his buddy Austin, would stay the fuck away forever.

  8. Everyone has an opinion, and has the right to them certainly, but comments like these are ridiculous. That's my opinion. Lots of wrestlers have used and abused drugs, muscle builders, painkillers and just "normal" street drugs. He's one of them. So are others that are still talked about great on here. If he had "5 star matches" I think there would be different opinions on his worth and especially if he should be in jail. You appear to have missed my point. As much as Luger is an asshole, take the WWA story for example, I don't think that warrents him being in jail. I simply meant that he probably better off being locked away before he manages to self-destruct. That said, as far as wrestling goes Luger isn't worth shit anymore and hasn't been for years.
  9. I take Luger isn't in jail anymore. Shame really, it was probably the best place for him.
  10. If Kevin Nash is under contract to TNA why is he doing Wrestlemania Moments for WWE.com?
  11. Looks to be a very cool set. Hopefully the trend of stacking DVD's like this will continue with the rest of the releases planned for this year.
  12. Which is why any promo he cuts would probably be done backstage. It wouldn't matter though, the heat would be nuclear as soon as he stepped into the arena.
  13. Well, they've brought it on themselves.
  14. Man, nothings hotter than a coat hanger abortion.
  15. The Mizard of Oz Who the fuck came up with that shit? And those quotes, if he starts spouting these off when he's called up I hope the crowd shits all over him. I mean, honestly, this guys is famous for being a reality TV bitch. Are they going to start giving advice to kids at school. You've got no qualification and no hope have you ever thought of signing up for reality TV?

    TNA arena crowd

Since the usual crowd shows up three hours before the tapings, (sometimes six when a PPV occurs) it doesn't surprise me. What the hell do they do for six hours?
  17. For people who don't have them.

  20. Do we really need a seventh season of CSI? It IS the highest rated scripted show on TV. I can see the reason for it being renewed but I just don't want it to go on beyond it's time that's all.
  21. ECW: The Most Extreme Matches Igby Goes Down: Collector's Edition Point Break Ren & Stimpy Uncut: The First and Second Seasons Spellbound WWE New Year's Revolution 2006 WWE No Mercy 2005
  22. Quick, someone give her a book deal.
  23. Would you be surprised to learn that Hunter's changed position on the "heels who get cheered against Cena don't know how to be a heel" argument? Hasn't he already with this change of direction for Cena? Or was that what you were implying?
  24. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. I hope the guy bombs. I can't stand the irritating little turd. They should have kept Puder on the payroll. It's not like they couldn't have afforded to pay him they just didn't want to. Fuckwits.
  25. Some of that I think had to do with who he was working with partially. I mean, he had to sell the dead man gimmick more than, but he was also working with the likes of Mabel and Giant Gonzales for the most part, whereas 1998-Present he's faced Angle, Austin, Flair, among others. I'd have to agree. I don't like Undertaker but against the right worker he can pull off a good match. The first time I really took notice was his match against Diesel at Wrestlemania XII. Going into the match I didn't think it would be any good but it surprised me and, even more surprising, it still holds up today. Then came his matches with Mankind followed by his second title run when he was facing guys like Steve Austin, Bret Hart, and, post title reign, Shawn Micheals. True, he's been paired off with hosses on and off since then but he still manages to surprise me on occasion.
