I think Stern sold his stock in January and has already surpassed company expectations, but I don't care either way honestly. I would like to know about what kind of dirt O&A have on Stern...I've heard it's about his family/divorce.

Katherine looked (well, sounded) bad tonight. Chris is a bore to me- nothing special at all. If this were a real singing competition Elliot would win but since it's a popularity contest disguised as a singing competition and he looks like a werewolf he won't. Hopefull Kelly gets her ass sent packing this week.

Oh believe me, he's beyond pissed; he's just trying to act like it doesn't bother him. He absolutely hates O&A (calls them nothing but imitators, even though their show is nothing like Stern's is now or was even 10 YEARS ago), and now they've basically replaced him, potentially bringing in many of the listeners he once had. Hell, he should be pissed for the simple fact alone that O&A know TONS of dirt on him and they're eager to tell it, without him being able to gag order them or really even retort, on regular radio at least. Why should he care if the audience hasn't followed him? He's getting paid regardless and he doesn't have to worry about ratings anyways, not to mention he already has brought a large amount of people of sirius just for him. If he was so concerned about audience, he would have continued to have a censored show on free radio. HE left free radio, not the other way around.

Seems like TNA was trying to tease fans with all old guys, but put Samoa Joe in the spot instead. Guess they aren't WCW. I like the direction they're going for.

Why do you guys think Stern is pissed? I've been listening all week and can testify that he doesn't give a shit either way. Why would it bother him? Regular radio guys aren't his competition anymore, and by giving away O&A on regular radio less people will feel the need to get XM for them.

I wonder if WWE will edit the crowd reactions at all.

One of the worst RAWs ever just for the God vs Vince segment. This feud has to be the worst ever. Seriously. Vince was attacked by fucking GOD. Yes, WWE is entertainment, but wrestling should still maintain believability even when we know it's all scripted. So God just can't sit by and lose a wrestling feud. And some people actually LIKE this! Keller said it was "intriguing". This was easily one of the most retarded things ever done by the WWE...a billion times worse than all of Undertaker's nonsense.

Possible new crazy shit from Kane's past coming and the Vince vs God feud are the real stories of the night. The title feud is just weird, and they just repeated last week's opening segment tonight. Next week Triple H vs Cena/Edge wow omg! But most importantly NEVER PUT SHELTON ON ANNOUNCING EVER AGAIN! When the color man has to clarify what you just (tried) said to the audience, it's time to give it up. Completely apathetic towards everything else.

I don't deny Benoit was over, but these four events weren't under normal circumstances.

*Shelton botches spot* "Great athleticism. I want to see more of him". Shelton's very athletic. Doesn't mean he's a good professional wrestler. Pro Wrestling is more of a storytelling medium than a sport. If a guy lacks charisma and can't draw a crowd in, there is only so much you can do with him. Orton is half the athlete Shelton is but managed to get that "it" factor in Summer 2004.

Even if he was a good mat wrestler, he still doesn't sell. Or have charisma. Or have the ability to cut a promo without talking like he just put a big gumball in his mouth. Nor has he done anything to stand out from the rest of the roster and try to have a good match using his brain instead of just a bunch of move, two count, move, two count matches. Never liked this guy. Make him watch some old wrestling tapes so he can learn how to build a match properly and work a crowd. And work on those promo skills.

The main event feud is a face who gets heel reactions, a heel who gets tweener reactions, and a heel that get heel reactions. Any problems with this?

Is Mickie a face now? They could quite easily do a Austin/Bret-extra extra light with the two girls if they both turned. They'll probably test both of their reactions tonight before anything.

I'm thinking Cena and Rey (with their respective titles) get traded during the draft so we get Rey/Hunter for the World Title and Cena can keep his title while they edit his crowd reactions and try to trick the fans.

Old school HBK and a possible Hogan/Austin segment are all that really interest me going into this RAW.

Same thing that you described except a sports coach (usually basketball/football) instead of a teacher. It's the same movie every time.

my point is, America isn't always looking at outside images when picking these things...Kelly and Carrie were clearly the best of their crop...it just so happens they were the prettiest as well. Remember, America DID put that goofy looking Justin Guarini in the finals, but hey, dude could sing. Oh I agree. I wouldn't be suprised at all if Mandesa wins. There is definetly a market out there that will vote for her. I think she'll be another bust if she wins though, which is why I don't want her to.

I wouldn't exactly call Fantasia and Ruben succesful Idols since I haven't heard anything from either since shortly after the contest.

why not? because she's fat? She's a fantastic singer and performer...she is as deserving as anyone else...yes, even Katharine...Katharine is far more marketable than Mandesa, but she's not better. I've always considered image as part of the contest. She's not pleasent to look at. Simon has even said she won't win because of it.

We'll soon find out that it was Henry that killed Eddie all along.
