  1. Re-think your main event. Iron Man matches rarely pay off, even with Benoit & Guerrero whom are capable of carrying a 60 minute match. I have yet to make one really work and the match rating always seems to lag. If those two are your two biggest stars (which is what you'd want to put in your main event for WMXX) then stick with that match, however use a different gimmick. UYI
  2. God bless Bobby Heenan.
  3. JMA makes friends everywhere he goes, doesn't he?
  4. Rico really shits me. Don't think I'd hate him, but he'd get a swift kick in the balls. UYI
  5. Poor Al Snow. That cocksucker Vince promised him YEARS ago that he'd make good use of him and give him a push he deserved, and this is what he has degenerated to. Yay. UYI
  6. Not a problem ...shit, at this rate, I might as well change my nick from this to "EWR Man": Informant Of EWR. We love you, Flik.
  7. The Masterplan - Oasis. Better than you'd think. UYI

    Sell Me On:

A little? Please, he's on rip-off levels with the whole 'JT' thing, which he obviously again took from Michael Jackson. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that crap, but grow some balls and be original why don't you? UYI
  9. I love you, Czech.
  10. And they did it. Metallica changed their style to appeal to a different group of people and sell records to them. That, to me, is the very definition of selling out - changing your current musical direction to sell more records. Which is exactly what Metallica did, only instead of trying to appeal to a new auidence, they're trying to appeal to the old auidence that they shunned when they wrote Load. I'd like to enjoy the album too - I really would. But I honestly can't. We have the exact same point, however opposing point of views. What you call 'selling out', I call 'listening to the fans'. Agree to disagree? Looks like it. However, you do make a very good point, but I would deem changing their style to, say, nu metal (or whatever else that is over with the kids these days), in order to grasp more mainstream attention as selling out. St.Anger is NOT a mainstream album in any sense of the word and I am surprised it has sold as well as it has, considering most of the core audience was scared off with Load/ReLoad. UYI
  11. THAT is brilliant. Fuck, Foley is God. My fave is from the D-X era of 1997... Triple H (after Chyna had implants): "I bet if Chyna had a nipple for everytime she's been called the breast woman wrestler around here, she'd be a millionare" Yes, back when Triple H was cool. UYI
  12. You need a good ebatting
  13. I disagree. After Load and ReLoad, Metallica fans (the majority anyway) expressed negativity towards 'Tallica's choice to go more mellow and melodic with their music. Being a member of MetClub.com, I can tell you all first hand that they have multiple forums. where the band post themselves at times, that allow feedback on everything they do. Metallica fans WANTED them to go heavy again, they wanted them to try and be as brutal as they could while still retaining the Metallica feel to the music. All Metallica has done with St.Anger is comply to the requests of their fans, whom they are very, very good to. One friend of mine, in MetClub, actually recieved a phone call from James Hetfield on his wedding day as a surprise present. James commented that 'It's never, ever too late to pull out, you know'. Funny guy. However, if you feel that Anger is 'selling out' and isn't your style, then that is perfectly fine. It's just a shame you cannot get what I do from the record. UYI
  14. That would be classic. That'd be fucking gold. It would live forever as one of the finer moments in Smark history. Right up there with the Hitman winning at WMX and Nash tearing his quad.
  15. I have the feeling it may be just a TAD over-produced, which can be a very, very bad thing. Like the Lord of the Rings films, you can't just rely on the special effects to make something really spectacular. UYI
  16. Who cares? It's NEW JACK. He'll never come close to being able to draw like Jeff Jarrett (not that he's on Austin-levels or anything, but at least he, you know, draws money to some extent). Jarrett could wrestle circles around the idiot, as well as blow him out of the water in terms of outright charisma. Have fun in XPW, Jack. UYI
  17. Now, now, children.
  18. I'm not much of a sign person, but I might have to use that one myself when I go to Unforgiven. No, you see it's funny because he didn't actually pay anything to go. GET IT? BA - - HAHAHAHAH That wacky Rudo. UYI
  19. I believe the question was 'who is the better wrestler' not who is more popular. However, the same answer results in both questions, so I'll just shut up. UYI
  20. You can't spell believe without LIE
  21. It surprises me that Austin doesn't wake up to himself. Vince could job Steve to the Brooklyn Brawler EVERY NIGHT for the rest of his life and the fans would never stop loving him (Austin) for a second. What shits me even more is that Austin bitched about top stars never putting HIM over, yet he refused to do the same in the reversed situation. Sad. UYI
  22. Perhaps it was not to your liking, which is fine, however I thought it was brilliantly structured and pulled-off. And yes, both men DID do chops. That tends to happen in Flair matches. UYI
  23. Bullshit. I use Kazaa to preview CD's I am interested in buying. If I like what I hear, I buy the album first thing the next day, if not, then I find something else. If only the rest of the world were as nice as me. UYI
  24. I actually own the few RAW's that were leading up to Austin's departure. His wrestling (no punches allowed) match with Flair on RAW was really awesome, and is, to me, one of Flair's greatest matches in WWE since returning.
