  1. Any Australians here need to remember to catch Episode II: Attack of the Clones this coming Sunday night. Channel Ten is cashing in on the Star Wars buzz and I'm throwing money. Is it really, really, really gay that I break into a Lucas chant everytime I drive past my local cinema and see the coming attractions? Yeah okay I'll leave.
  2. I love all these GameFAQ kids that say it's called the 360 because it is the opposite of the Xbox 1.
  3. So I'm playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on my ZNES right now...
  4. Its logo should've been 'FUCK SONY'. I'd of so bought it.
  5. Specifically that controller, it is sitting there screaming "HI, I'M MEDIOCRE"
  6. I thought it looked very Mac-ish. I'm definitely not a fan either, but then I won't be buying it. Sony will create something sixty times slicker looking than this thing, if the PSP is anything to go by.
  7. That's Microsoft's next monster. There is what appears to be a detached hard drive on top of the actual console, so make of that what you will. UYI
  8. Grievous is the evil looking bastard to the right in my sig
  9. Yeah, but it is from this Ivan Sulic guy, who is a total fucking idiot. Just a few days ago on the IGN Roundtable: Reading this review and making a judgement on the game based from it is like having George Lucas decide for you whether or not you go and see Episode III.
  10. IGN has SHIT all over Episode III for the PS2, rating it 4.5 Not that IGN is worth anything, but yikes.
  11. Lego Star Wars has grown on me incredibly. I was about set to return the thing after my brief initial run through, however actually sitting down today and spending some time with it has really paid off. Both games are a great compliment to the upcoming Episode III movie and will pretty much just make you love Star Wars even more.
  12. Sid didn't leave after WM13, he left soon after King of the Ring 1997, where he participated in a nothing 6-man tag team match with LOD against the Hart Foundation.
  13. Try before you buy with that little monkey. The jury is still out in Illusion land on Lego Star Wars. ...yes I realise that means absolutely nothing to you.
  14. Star Wars: Battlefront II looks pretty darn awesome too, and it will be on show at E3. I went out and bought Lego Star Wars today and have played it for a bit this afternoon. I'm lukewarm towards it so far, but will definitely get into it a bit more tonight before passing final judgement. I'm hoping it's one of those things you gradually become more and more into, otherwise it's back to EB by the end of the week.
  15. The footage on the PS2 game is out of this world. But yeah, Kotz theory applies within that context too. General Grievous is forty kinds of fucking awesome. He's like a 50 year old, chain-smoking crack whore trained in the deadly arts and packing four light-saber weilding arms. THE BEST KIND OF CRACK WHORE. UYI
  16. You used the CODES? Bah. Unlimited health, force power and all access to levels kills the fun.
  17. I'm an Australian, and here it is the 5th of May. Sucks to be American.
  18. Yeah, but you're packing a photo of guys with lightsaber boners.
  19. This wrestling take on Star Wars is way too much gay for me to handle.
  20. Although I was not intending to do so, I walked into EB Games today for a brief look around and noticed that Episode III was in stock and available for purchase for PS2. After a few moments of contemplation, I caved and decided I'd give in to temptation. Due to other commitments, I've only been able to play up to the first boss. However, from what I've played I have noticed the following: - Voice acting is sub-par - Graphics follow the path of the voice acting - Fighting Jedi-style is really, really fun and enjoyable. Shredding droids was never this cool. - The footage from the movie is played usually before each level to help set the scene and it blends in really well - Levels are SHORT (from the first few that I've played), but the game has the signs of replayability with a cool co-op mode, duel mode and an skill building system where players can level-up their Anakin or Obi-Wan by ripping droids new outlets and earning points. - You cannot choose who you play as, it alternates between Anakin and Obi-Wan, starting with Anakin. - Plays much like the short and sweet Return of the King - The first boss battle is pretty cool. It involves you and Obi-Wan fighting Count Dooku. Dooku handed me my sorry ass THREE times in a row before I had to bail and do other things, so the battles are definitely not too easy. I plan on getting a little more into it tonight before going to bed. Has anyone else gone out of their way to pick it up? If I had to give a rating from the minimal amount of time I've spent playing (which shouldn't be taken into consideration when compared to someone else who has spent some real quality time with it), I'd say it's sitting around a 7.5/10 or so. Definite, plain, old fashioned, hack n' slash fun, although the graphics leave a lot to be desired.
  21. Triple H is this generation's Hollywood Hogan. Easy to pick off leading up to the PPV, but the second the bell rings he suddenly summons superhuman power that can see the mightest of opponents need to endure 20 minute matches just to bring him down. Hurricane and Rosey's win means shit. Triple H already made them both his bitches over the past few weeks, not that there is any reason to give a damn about tag team wrestling anymore unless you're watching SD! And I really, really, really hate it when people use 'Hell, ...' as the beginning for a sentence. It shits me. Just thought you'd all like to know that.
  22. I'm almost tempted to buy the Episode III video game for PS2 just to see the extra footage.
  23. No, he's ASTROTASTIC
  24. Yeah, so buying this.
