After doing some poking around, I believe his name in America was 'Bruton'. So not that big a stretch from his original Japanese name.

I've seen some anime Street Fighter and Fatal Fury, which have all been really, really good. Other than that, I did watch Astro Boy back in the 80's, however I was too young to really remember all that much of it. I do remember the big giant blue robot with horns on his head that was kicking the ever-loving piss out of everything to solidify himself as the greatest robot in the Universe. Quite awesome.
