This was an inevitibility once Sega lost the NFL. The NFL is pretty much the biggest moneymaker for sports games year after year, and you had to figure ESPN wouldn't stick around for anything else. That combined with rumors of this being Madden's last year on the series, it was coming eventually. While it won't be enough to make up the ground, I just hope Sega pours their efforts into their other sports franchises so they can best EA that way. I was thinking a fake league just different enough from the NFL is a possibility as well, along with ample edit options for team names, player names, etc., or an aforementioned CFL game. A recognizable brand name goes a long way, though, so it may not be popular, but it'll be something other than college football.

As long as it's up by, say, noon the next day, I don't really care. I don't think it's as big of a problem as it's being made out to be anyway. Moving back the writer's deadline only increases the number of no-shows and extensions, the latter of which only bring us back up to the deadline we have now. Setting a marker's deadline affects the process of fair and accurate judgement if they feel like they have to hurry and make a decision between two tight matches. As far as the Friday shows goes, maybe if we just move the shows back a day, to a Sunday - Thursday - Tuesday rotation? It affects the current Monday show for the worse, but at least we get rid of the Friday show in the process.

This 'spoiler' is based off of rumors that I've read online, so it's technically not a spoiler as it really would be defined ... Boone & Shannon are brother & sister, but only by marriage, and used to be a couple ... it's why there's so much tension/animosity & whatnot. It's just that. DDP and Bischoff were neighbors and best friends, that much is true. It's why people resented DDP; he was in with the boss. They were so close that it was rumored they swapped Kimberly and Bischoff's wife on occasion... suddenly the New Blood/Millionaire's Club storyline featuring Kimberly shacking up with Bischoff took on new meaning. Considering how much of a freak Bischoff was (bringing home strippers from the Gold Club for threesomes), I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

After looking them up, the lyrics do fit. The song and band itself is awful, however. The song as a whole, whiny singer and all, simply don't get across how pissed and bitter Edge really is.
