You get a profile just from installing. Try what I said and then install Firefox clean.

A simple way to put it would be uninstall Firefox and delete any profiles that are left on your computer (the Mozilla FireFox folder) and then reinstall.

I will notice... granted I'm not hardcore but I watch about 25+ games a year, but I wouldn't notice it as much as say the NBA lockout or MLB.
