    Wii

I'm not getting a Wii FOR Red Steel, but I'm considering checking it out (probably a rental, as I'm not big on FPS style games). That said, all this stuff about controls has me shrugging my shoulders. As in, I couldn't give a fuck. As evidenced by the SvR2006 controls, what's horrible for other people is fine with me. I rarely take reviews on control/gameplay to heart until I've tried the games out for myself.
  2. Interesting choice. I guess that whole "I'm going to cast a virtual unknown" thing from Favreau was bait and switch. Either way I can totally see this. Not sure if he should have a moustache now, or not. EDIT: Actually, I coud totally see him pulling off Stark with facial hair, now: http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/4139/E...20Jr.,%20Robert
  3. Wow.. I downloaded the demo and while it's not too bad, I don't think I can warrant purchasing this game and spending much time on it. It is very slow and clunky and the interface is just... wierd.
  4. Thank fucking zombie Jesus. I hate using the R-Stick for anything other than taunting..
  5. The fuck?!
  6. Holy crap, that was awesome, and yes it gave me goosebumps as well. I love that shit about TNA! They post a fans video of the event via youtube! WWE would've sued the kid.
  7. I'm guessing it has something to do with not getting laid enough - or at all.
  8. Why the fuck is there no Ted DiBiase?!?!
  9. Worse eh? How so?
  10. The guy is probably only going to work PPV matches. Isn't that already pretty much semi-retirement from wrestling? Nevermind the fact that the guy is still seeking out MMA work. Who's head is that on?
  11. From TNAWrestling.com.....
  12. I doubt Kurt is turning. If Sting really is on the way out after his contract expires then they are going to need a huge face to fill that gap, and I don't think it's gonna be Samoa Joe as he's just not there in terms of cutting babyface promos.
  13. It's still very easy to give no traces of your location online. Nothing is untracable.
  14. Well if it is someone who wants to do you harm, they're an idiot for doing it in a documented format such as the internet, where locations can be traced, etc.
  15. So apparenly the game received a major overhaul last year with the release of the Starter Kit. I'm extremely bored with WoW and am looking to switch to SWG. Anyone else play the new version and can offer any recommendations?
  16. Try NO animation. Animation implys some motion. These are video clips that pause and then have a drawn image overlaid on top of them. Talk about a pathetic video.
  17. I've found InDesign to be much more versatile and more powerful from a design standpoint than QuarkXPress. Most designers I've worked with (and learned from) agree. I don't even think that Adobe supports PageMaker anymore. They stopped at v7 I believe.
  18. I own a MacBook & a PC (Toshiba "desktop replacement" laptop - ie: it has a huge screen and is way too heavy to actually travel with). At my current job I use a PC because they "don't support" Macs. That said, any other design related job (including the rare freelance gig I do nowadays) has always been with a Mac. It's just industry standard for any sort of multimedia design and editing (anything from print, web, music, video). That said, anyone who is still using Quark needs to get with the times.
  19. ^^^ This'd better not turn into a discussion about "prime"......
  20. Edit: (Stupid internet making with the double-posts!)
  21. Youtube links: Pt 1: Pt 2:
  22. It's just ER with a better balance of relationship drama and medical drama and some great comedy spots, IMO. I don't really think it's a chick show, to be honest. Most of the people that I know who watch it are couples.
  23. I have a good suggestion for the rule. How about "no gimmick/extra accounts, period." Works for me.
  24. Meh, Old Spaghetti Factory is pretty bland, IMO. There's no other place for breakfast better than the Lakeview Lunch. Oh, and if you want the best nachos in the city - hands down - Bathurst & College - Sneeky Dees. My friends and I did a Mexican restaurant tour about a year ago of pretty much every advertised Mexican & Tex-Mex restaurant in Toronto, and no one even comes close to Sneeks. Best burritos in the city - Richmond & Peter - Burrito Boyz.
