I think she also said that they had the flight manifest with them. I'm guessing so that the other passengers can't check for Jack, Sayid, Kate & Hurley?

Most of my dislike for MMA stems from it being over-hyped (to very annoying levels) by pretty much anyone I know or talk to who is into it.

There are a few Classic downloads that I'd like to have on my PS3 (Fire Pro G, Puzzle Bobble) and you can also get demos and DLC for any imports you may own. That and supposedly there is a chance that a new (or HD remixed) Fire Pro game will be coming to the PS3.. not sure if it'll be disc based or downloadable so I just want to be prepared.

Does anyone know where I can buy PSN money/points cards in Canada (Toronto specifically)? I want to download some shit from the Japanese PSN store and this is the only way to do it as you can't use non-Japanese credit cards on their store. =\ EDIT: Nevermind. I just found out that you need a Japanese PSN Card to do that.. ebay here I come.

That's what she was wearing the last time we saw her.. http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Image:4x11claire.jpg

Holy shit I didn't even notice that. Here's a larger pic: http://www.getlostpodcastmedia.com/wp-cont...h_christian.jpg

Just like real Japanese wrestling. Well that statement leads me to believe you haven't seen much Japanese wrestling. RE: simming. I'm out on that one as well. Not my bag. I like to PLAY the game. I think the majority of the simmers run their own fantasy feds (whether with members or for their own amusement) which is why it's so big over there.

That's awesome if true. I love it when the fake fighters can take out the real ones. I also hate MMA so I'm biased, but hey..
-
I'm a mark for it. I still have all of my old SNES import Firepro games (carts, boxes and all). I'd definitely buy it. Import it. Homebrew it. Whatever I gotta do!

A lot of people are guessing it's an HD game, either a remix of an old game or a brand new one. He's said that at least one guess in the thread is on the money, and that's the one I'm leaning toward hoping it is.

So the Forums at the Fire Pro Club are going nuts right now. One dude (SonnyBone) claims to be getting an interview with someone from Grasshopper Manufacture (Goichi Suda aka No More Heroes & Killer7 creator - also worked on the old SNES fire pro games) and that the information given in the interview will make said forum very happy. In one of the later pages he drops a hint that it also looks like they may be looking for fan input from the FPC forum members into this game or re-release of a game.. or whatever it is. This wouldn't be the first time it's happened as a marketing manager from Agetec dropped by the forums to solicit feedback and ideas when they were producing the localization of Fire Pro Returns (hell we even got into the credits of the manual). Anyway, http://www.fireproclub.com/forum/viewtopic...=16&t=20461 is the thread in question. He says he can post it around the 29th of this month which is about when Famitsu magazine is supposed to officially unveil the project. I just wanted to post this because I know we have a few Fire Pro addicts here at TSM.

I have a feeling that only appearances will get ported over. They'll spin it as a positive because you won't have to re-morph everything for 3 hours to make a copy of your CAW.
-
Boo that sucks. I mean I'm not a huge "CAW" maker when it comes to Yukes games but it'd be nice to have the option of accurate finishing sequences.
-
Galaxies was awful, IMO. I wonder if this will be more of the same? That said I can't really get into MMO's anymore. I just don't have the time. I'd love to, but it ain't gonna happen. Though I'll probably try to (and fail at) getting into the DC MMO when it comes out on PS3.

I hate Animal Crossing. On the other hand the Dead Rising Wii game is actually pretty fun. Also, Mad World, yes! House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return + Overkill are also great buys. No More Heroes FOR SURE. Obscure the Aftermath was a pretty fun little survival horror game. Resident Evil 4 - every Wii owner should at least try (or buy) this game!

I still can't get into reading books (comic or otherwise) in a digital format. I'm just too old fashioned and prefer print 100%.
-
Oh I know, just pointing out the inconsistency in their programming.

It's a good thing he found Christ a few years ago... wait a minute.

I love how Lord of Darkness Undertaker has the hat on.. but he never wore the hat when he was the Lord of Darkness!

Oh well, I'm not big on Rumble modes anyway. The only Rumble modes I ever had fun with were the SNES games and the Arcade WrestleFest game. I just get irked by little things that Yukes always seems to forget about. Little costmetic things like Taker only having a hat and no trenchcoat yet Slaughter doesn't have a hat. It just doesn't make sense to me. That and I noticed during the Options video that there is no option to turn off that annoying camera effect that happens everytime a strike or grapple is pulled off. I know I've mentioned how much I hate it a bunch of times but I found it VERY distracting when I was playing the demo. I was sure that maybe my demo was fucked up or something but then low and behold I see it replicated in those videos, as well. *ugh* If I can fight the powers of nostalgia on release day I may wait until this one is in the bargain bin (or at least $29) to pick it up.
-
That sounds so lame. Does this guy have the final build of the game?
-
That's bizarre. She didn't even join WWE/OVW until 2004. Or is this just a case of the media calling any wrestling WWE/F?
-
It's because the "importing" isn't really importing at all. All of the SDvRAW characters are on the LOWM disc itself. You just need a SDvRAW gamesave to unlock them.. or "import" them as THQ has been saying. I think the reason it's done is because there'd probably be royalties, etc. to be paid out of any of these guys were being put into a new game that was developed after their release.

Just checked (yay internet) and it does have a bluray release. Defintiely going to check it out this week for sure.
