Anyway, moving on from puro vs American wrestling.. The dude in thread over at FPC says that the game releases across multiple platforms on September 9th of this year. He's saying that he should hopefully be able to reveal the interview and what exactly the game is either today or at least by the 29th of this month - depends on what GHM says and when Famitsu plans to publish the info.

Yeah but its always dodgy (at least for me) when a movie has people from an established TV show in it. It degrades the movie. Movie actors into a TV show is fine, but for some reason TV actors into a movie... feels odd. Most of the time that's the natural progression for an actor, though.

I have to agree. I think the only 3D wrestling games I ever spent a significant amount of time loving were the AKI titles and King of Colosseum 2.

It is different - but every match isn't murder backdrops and burning hammers and then an elbowsmash finish. You're talking about a very small segment of the matches.

Just like real Japanese wrestling. Well that statement leads me to believe you haven't seen much Japanese wrestling. I've seen my fair share of Japanese wrestling and more often then not I end up with the impression that it's 2 or more guys beating the living piss out of each other, stiff shots, head drops etc.... and I just couldn't get into it. That sounds more like ECW than Japanese pro wrestling. There is a ton of psychology in Japanese wrestling. I don't know where people get the idea that there isn't. Go watch Kanemura vs Inoue from the finals of the Super Jr last year. I was there live and that shit brought the house down.

Which DVD? I didn't think that the Black Freighter movie was out until the end of this month. I thought that Tom Stechschulte did a great job with voicing the entire the motion comic, including the Black Freighter bits. The only place I thought he was off was when doing female voices.

overhyped? Its the fastest growing sport in the world, and for right reasons...it's EXCITING. And you base what you like and dislike upon others actions? That sounds pretty ridiculous. I said that's where most of my dislike stems from. The rest is because I find it over-rated and actually pretty boring. I like some of the Japanese stuff but the North American stuff is meh to me. Some more of it comes from the shitton of Average fuckwad Joes who think that they should get into MMA because of that hype. People who should never step foot into a fight are trying to train in this shit and it's ridiculous, IMO. This is just my opinion and it shouldn't matter to anyone who likes MMA, just like their opinions on why I should like it don't matter to me. I'm really just waiting for this to spin off into how I'm such a fool for not liking MMA, which is exactly the kind of reaction I get from the people I was talking about above, and only adds to my dislike for the sport.
