True enough. VM, and maybe Nakajima was really the only aspect of the potential AJPW deal that I was looking forward to.

So it's Godzilla 98? Ewww. I have some mild interest in seeing this, but the fact that they don't tell you about the monsters origins apparently are turning me off. I just love that aspect, actually. He came. He saw. He fucked shit up. Carpenter's the Thing was iffy on the explanation of where the Thing actually came from and what it's deal was... but that movie still rocked the fucking house.

There'll probably be some sort of short, or something like that, on the DVD to explain a few things. I wouldn't hold your breath for any huge theatrically released sequels or prequels to this movie unless it does ridiculously well at the BO.

Sure, but is that what they're doing here? My point is that it's hard for me to accept a movie with the premise of New York City being under siege as escapism when it actually happened just a few years ago. I remember thinking how amusing Independence Day and its images of major American landmarks being destroyed seems in retrospect and how you could never really milk any shock value out of anything like that ever again, but here we have the head of the Statue of Liberty being thrown clear across Manhattan. It just all seems kind of silly. Dude, it's a fucking sci-fi movie. Seriously, get a grip.

Well if they were going to fit in all the docu-style stuff and the entire Angle/Nagata match (19 minutes), and don't forget commercial breaks, clips of the other matches was really the only way they could go. Remember an hour of TV with commercials is usually only about 40-45 minutes. If you add up all the other matches... Christian/AJ/Petey vs RISE - 10:25 Daniels vs Inoue - 10:17 Abyss vs Nakanishi - 6:00 Team 3d vs GBH - 13:12 Tomko/Bernard vs Steiners - 12:50 That's almost an hour right there, and well over an hour when you add in Angle/Nagata. Like someone else said, they're probably saving it for a DVD (though I'll hold out for the NJPW version, myself).

You're an idiot. Watch the Dome Show main-event matches again. I could maybe buy the opinion that Nakamura performed better than Angle that night (though I personally think the other way round), but if you're telling me that Angle sucked in his match and Nakamura was outstanding, then you're a fool. I'm not saying Angle sucks as a wrestler - I'm saying that I'm sick of him and wish he would fuck off (I KNOW I'm not alone on this either). It's kind of like how I feel about you now.

What CPU difficulty level were you wrestling at? Also, are you on an HDTV? Apparently some experience a teeny bit of lag with consoles which can screw with timing based games like Fire Pro.

Agreed with the Batman Returns > Batman 89. Hands down Returns is the best movie of the first major franchise of Batman movies. As for Sin City.. it's okay.. I mostly like it for it's style though. 300, I hated. That movie can fuck right off.

Overrated in what sense? It's not my number one favourite, but it is a pretty revolutionary piece of animation for it's time. I think the story just has this very epic feel to it, and the acting (Japanese) is just top-notch when it comes to voiceover work, it actually rivals a lot of live action performances. Plus, tons of people have cited it as their inspiration for other works that were hugely successful (movies, books, etc). Oh, and here's my list of comic flix: 1. ICHI the Killer 2. Batman Begins 3. Osamu Tezuka's Metropolis 4. Hellboy 5. Katsuhiro Otomo's AKIRA 6. Spider-man 7. Oldboy 8. Sin City 9. The Crow 10. Death Note (it's a two-parter, but it helps to think of them as one long movie)

The problem with this method of "training" is that cats are "in the moment" animals. As in, you have to punish it WHILE it's doing what you don't like, not five minutes or five hours after the fact. Usually a squirt with a water bottle or a loud "NO!" will do the trick - no need for physicality. What you did is just going to confuse the hell out of him and make him think that he probably shouldn't go around you at all. I've been pretty lucky with mine. He's loud and fucking annoying sometimes when he won't shut up.. but he's never destroyed anything. No wires, no furnature, nothing.

Also, I don't know what ideas your sister has about healthcare up here.. but it ain't "free" like so many others like to think or have you believe (*cough*Michael Moore*cough*). She will pay for it. *money motion with fingers* *The finger thing means the taxes... ;P
