I can't link my account either. It actually says my slot is already claimed. Also - I'd like to note that I hate battle mode.. ugh.

Apparently they're part of an S&M gang called the Pervs.

I also had it on GH2 (PS2) but only after for long periods of time without looking away from the fretboard.. I find that if you glance elsewhere every once in a while, it happens a lot less. It's the same idea as running full speed on a treadmill and then suddenly stopping.. you're gonna feel a little bit of vertigo.

Ro'z is in OVW right now and Siaki is on leave from wrestling for "personal problems"

Everything in wrestling is "been there, done that," these days.

Looks fine on my HDTV. Besides.. graphics aren't that important for this type of game, really. Seriously? I'm playing it on an HDTV (though I don't think it's even in 480p so an HDTV doesn't matter) and it looks just atrociously bad. I mean, I guess it doesn't really matter since you're looking at the fretboard pretty much the whole time, but damn it's got some terrible graphics. Even the menus and stuff are muddy and pixelated. Look at the text that pops up that goes "YOU ROCK" when you beat a song. How the hell do they make TEXT look so shitty? Does it suck as bad on the other systems or is it just the Wii version. I don't really care, the game's fun as hell though. The Wii version is 480p. It's been reported pretty much everywhere and even my TV's (Samsung with Game Mode) signal display states 480p. I think the graphics look fine. Looks a few steps up from the PS2 version which is what I was expecting. Either have shitty TVs or you set your expectations too high.

X29 would've made more sense. Oh WWE...

Wow, actors sure are fucking morons these days...

I was in a one off shop (Game Centre) two days ago and they had the PS2 version on their shelf.
-
Yeah, but it's always the same song.. or a variation of that song.
-
They need to kill off some main characters already. This season is already way too over-booked and convoluted, IMO.

Brutal - when are these networks going to quit it with these bullshit breaks?

You say that like you havent seen a Best Buy/Circuit City circular in about 25 years either. The RS price was I think $39 with a $20 rebate. Ive never had problems with rebates before, so I dont understand why people are so against them. Circular? A flyer? I don't read those. Besides, snail-mailing something for me would take about as long as it took you to get your friggin' Wii online. You do realize a lot of places have online rebates right? In fact, most of Staples rebates are online only and you dont have to clip any upc codes or send any receipts. This is the way most rebates are going, and you get money back in 6-8 weeks instead of 6 months. I sent my Sprint Rebate via mail but also registered it online back in the beginning of August for $50 on my EVDO modem and I got the money back at the end of September. News to me. Whenever I hear about rebates it's on my receipt and it usually says to mail it in. Nothing about doing it online. Guess it depends where you shop.

That's a good deal, but mail in rebates? C'mon, what is this, 1982?

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw that scene. I got flashes of Sarah Polly's character driving down the highway where that other car gets t-boned into a gas station and - BOOM!

Plus aside from the uberfag vampires of the Anne Rice novels/movies, the vampires in Blade = bland. The vampires in Underworld = even more bland. Let's not get into the ilk of Dracula 2000, etc. The vampires in this movie were pure killing machines. No wasting time with games, comedy, self-loathing or sex, just pure carnage. Loved it!
-
Loved it. There were a few wierd looking green/blue screen effects that took away from a few scenes, but otherwise it was a very good flick, IMO. Very close to the graphic novel's storyline as well.

Anyone know if GH3 is going to offer downloads of older GH tracks for 1 & 2? I'm planning on getting the Wii version of it and really don't see a reason to keep my PS2 guitar + GH2 unless I won't be able to get those tracks again down the road when they start up the online thing.

Plus if you own an HDTV, the Wii version would be the way to go. My PS2 version looks like complete ass. Even more so than most PS2 games on an HDTV.

I don't think RVD is. I don't recall him winning the European title, and it's not oin WWE's title history. Not a big deal, just curious if maybe I forgot something, as I'm prone to doing. He won IC, Tag, World and Hardcore. He meets the 4 titles held mandate. No, this is World, IC, Tag and European. RVD won the traditional one. RVD was the last European title holder. It was shortly after the brand extension, he was IC champ and beat Dreamer for the Hardcore title in a Unification Match and then beat I believe Jeff Hardy in a Unification match for the European. So he was technically European champ for about as long as it took him to carry the belt to the locker room. Then it was merged into the US Title. This was being done because it was rumored that the IC belt would become the top belt for RAW. RVD lost the belt to Jericho, who lost it to Kane around the time HHH got the Big Gold belt. He beat Kane and merged the IC belt into that in fall of 02, until they decided to bring the IC title back at Judgment Day 03. Actually, RVD isn't recognized as the last Euro champion - Hardy is even though he lost the match. Stupid, I know. http://www.wwe.com/inside/titlehistory/euro/

Devitt is great. He's also known as Wild Pegasus 2/Pegasus Kid 2 in NJPW's Wrestleland - though I'm not sure if he's doing that gimmick anymore after all the shit that went down with Benoit. He's even changed his appearance (bleached his hair) to lessen the comparisons that he's received since he broke into the business. Either way, a great wrestler and very charismatic - the fact that he's a fellow Irishman doesn't hurt, either. My buddy and I actually met him outside the Tokyo Dome Geopolis once - really nice guy - "I thought I saw a couple of white guys in the crowd tonight" http://www.puroresucentral.com/devitt.html http://www.puroresufan.com/roster/devitt.php http://www.puroresufan.com/images/wlpegasus.jpg I like Yano. He puts on a good brawl, and a match with Rhino should be great. Though I almost wish it was Togi Makabe taking on Rhino. Makabe is like a Japanese hybrid of Hercules Hernandez and Bruiser Brody, but he's got a great technical background as well - he's just more prone to choking you out with his chain these days.
