  1. I'm at my mother's house right now. I can't have her know of my wrestling affiliations.
  2. Silver Jews' Tanglewood Numbers. The only thing I've heard this year that I can honestly say I love.

    Best Albums

I always hated DMB, but, ya know, I've always been hip.
  4. N.W.A.'s "I Ain't Tha 1." Far more hateful than comically over the top fare like "To Kill a Hooker."
  5. The Rolling Stones - Some Girls
  6. Yes, Mozilla's adblock feature comes in very handy, Czech. And Frigid Soul, I, too, am fond of the ignore feature.
  7. I've posted less than five times over the last two weeks and it appears I have not missed much. Life goes on without me!
  8. Splendid! Have any major TSM players been banned in my absence?
  9. How are things.
  10. Also, the Rolling Stones' "She's a Rainbow" is the best song ever, at least for the next few hours.
  11. I like the Pharell cover. I'm sure the album itself is terrible, though.
  12. De La Soul made BEP look functionally retarded here. I don't like the Peas, but I find their unapolgetic grab at pop stardom far less offensive than their alt-rap shit.
  13. Not really, but it's still a very depressing song. It starts off innocently enough ("Just a perfect day/feed animals in the zoo/then later, a movie, too") before it veers deep into the dude's psyche ("you made me forget myself/I thought I was someone else/someone good") and then, most troubling, he makes cryptic threats towards either the object of his affection or himself ("you're going to reap just what you sow").
  14. I would do this.
  15. Any three consecutive.
  16. The Velvet Underground - White Light/White Heat: Here She Comes Now, I Heard Her Call My Name, Sister Ray
  17. Tom Waits - Rain Dogs: Hang Down Your Head, Time, Rain Dogs
  18. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Henry's Dream: Papa Won't Leave You, Henry - I Had a Dream, Joe - Straight to You
  19. Can - Tago Mago: Paperhouse, Mushroom, Oh Yeah
  20. The Wedding Present - Seamonsters: Dalliance, Dare, Suck TV on the Radio - Young Liars: Blind, Young Liars, Mr. Grieves
  21. XTC - English Settlement: Senses Working Overtime, Jason and the Argonauts, No Thugs in Our House
  22. Pick any three consecutive songs from any album that make for a great stretch of music. The Stooges - Fun House: Dirt, 1970, Fun House Hüsker Dü - New Day Rising: New Day Rising, Girl Who Lives on Heaven Hill, I Apologize
  23. Wrestling references are pretty lame, but there's no sense in expecting any better from this board. That's not a dis, either. I mean, it's The Smart Marks, ya know? What else do you think would come out of this place?
  24. I've nothing clever to say in response to that.
