Actually, I've mostly given up quoting myself in favor of posting two or three times in a row. I've little use for the edit feature.

"My Home is the Sea" and "Blood Embarrase" are the best songs, I think.

This new Bonnie "Prince" Billy album, Superwolf, is okay (better than Master and Everyone, definitely), but it feels like the work of a man who's content on making an album that's simply passable. I dunno, that's just based on one listen, but we'll see, I guess.

Black Bastards was released though. It's weird going back and listening to KMD then and comparing to MF Doom's stuff now. They were kinda like a 5%er De La Soul (on the first album, anyway). And Anticon is terrible.

King Crimson, mainly in that the Mars Volta aren't a metal band like Dream Theater.

This would be interesting and innovative if prog rock hadn't existed for 35 years and the Mars Volta weren't a bunch of pretentious wanks.
