  1. How did I get involved in this?
  2. How is he funny? Little of his solo stuff reflects a sense of humor; same for his Wu work. The guy was never good for comic relief.
  3. I also took the time to add insults to each person on my list. Not only is this person a pussy, but lazy, too.
  4. As I said the last time, I did this first, AND under my normal screenname. This guy's a pussy.
  5. DMX: awful Nas: One can only go on for so long about the greatness of Illmatic. Jay-Z did a nice owning of him on "The Takeover," at least. There's always that. RZA: Only if you wanna talk about the Wu-Tang Clan. Snoop: Far more impressive as a comedian than a rapper these days.
  6. I like CWM's avatar. I'm being serious.

Let's just talk about how awesome "Head On" is.
  8. I couldn't go on living thinking that Kutcher was less than a year older than me. My minimal accomplishments in life will no longer burden me.
  9. WHOOSH The extreme velocity of that going over his head has mussed his hair.
  10. I meant masses. How embarassing.
  11. Speaking of classic threads, my David Schwimmer thread is obv. too subtle in its greatness for the asses here at TSM.

Bossanova is overrated; a turgid, misguided attempt at cock rock. Yes, "Velouria" is great, but the album is far too shallow for my liking. Trompe le Monde is just as accessible, and superior to boot.
  13. Alpha step, omega step. What a charmer. With the exception of the mediocre Ludacris track and maybe a few too many skits and that interminable life story tacked on to the end of "Last Call" and the bizarre equation of college grad = loser virgin, it's a swell album. Ludacris has been sounding very raspy, lately. He sounds downright hoarse on the Kanye album, and like he's been smoking too many Marlboros on certain parts of Chicken-n-Beer.

They play out in the sticks so less people will see it if/when those early shows suck. They better have their act together by Coachella.
  15. A new kind of this thread is fine, especially since the other is filled with red x's and broken links and the like.
  16. The whole thing. Spiderland is better appreciated as a whole than of its individual parts.
  17. Slint--Spiderland (1991) I'd argue it is a masterpiece, but whatever. One of the most emotionally devastating albums I've ever heard; it's effect on me has been such that I learned the hard way that I should never listen to it while driving. The final minute of the album closing "Good Morning, Captain" wrecks me everytime. Fuck the posers; Spiderland is the sound of loneliness. Absolutely harrowing. Use this thread to mention great, depressing music.
  18. Better than Kylie! HYUCK
  19. This is horrible news.
  20. I'm in the same boat. I once tried my hand at A Time to Kill, and I promptly broke up with the girlfriend who reccomended it to me.
  21. Or just send it to me. I'll only share it with Banky.
  22. None that aren't blurred for artistic effect. Regardless, I do not look like David Schwimmer. My girlfriend told me earlier today she'd never have sex with anyone who looked like Schwimmer, so there.
  23. Sure, but Minogue doesn't really have the legs (so to speak) to remain at or near the top unless she has another hit single.
  24. This was totally a classic thread until BBCW and FrigidSoul douched it up.
