  1. What did Willingham do exactly? Made Stanford decent. Guess that counts for something, but it doesn't mean he'll work out at a better program. From what I saw, Notre Dame wasn't getting better. They beat Michigan because Michigan wasn't ready for the game, and always finds ways to lose to N.D. in South Bend. They beat a Tennessee team who almost lost to Vandy, and Kentucky and it took a horrible interception by Clausen to give Notre Dame the win.
  2. What about UCONN? Their bowl eligible and play in the Big East.
  3. Willingham's available. Davis is better suited for college. He turned Miami's program around.
  4. 2-4-6-8... Proposition 48
  5. Hey Stanford needs a coach.
  6. Arizona is 4-0 against the AFC, not 3-0. 5-2 against the NFC. I'm happy so far. 9-2, 89 PF 69 PA. Still plenty of games left though.
  7. 16 teams is too many. 4 is just fine.
  8. Why not keep Georgia bowl eligible and have someone else make the picks? Harley would be the first choice if he loses. I may has well ask here. Any chance I make the championship game with a UCLA win, and Minnesota lose?
  9. They did the job for me in Week 1. My EP was something like odd weeks-pick home dogs, even pick away dogs. Oh, KKK. Do I have an EP number? Baring a collapse Vitamin X beat Cerebus.
  10. Any shot I stay in the top two if UCLA wins and I lose this week? Bored. Are you going to PM people offering bowl spots?
  11. I've got a bad feeling about this week. Most of the games are relatively easy to pick, and it could very well depend on tiebreakers, and that's not my strong suite.
  12. I want X to win tonight. It would give me a 2 game lead over Cerebus, with a game remaining and a Packers win would give me a nice +20 PF-PA differential.
  13. What it will be. Wade Boggs. Sandberg and possibly Bruce Sutter will make it in 2006.
  14. Notre Dame's accepted a bid to the Insight.com Bowl.
  15. Kotz your better off watching the history aspect on tv. There's been some good specials on Alexander. They don't have spice things up like Hollywood does.
  16. I don't care about who makes the BCS outside the Orange Bowl. I won't complain that Texas is left out for Pitt. Going into the season it was known the Big East got a spot. I'm speaking on performance. Texas is clearly the better team. But, like I said we knew a Big East team would make it.
  17. Northwestern losing to Hawaii eliminates the Wildcats from Bowl contention. That leaves Tulane, and Hawaii has the only teams who can become bowl eligible. A win by Hawaii next week gets them a spot in the Hawaii Bowl. That leaves Minnesota for the Music City Bowl against Alabama. The Motor City Bowl know has an at-large spot. Possibly Notre Dame. Since the Big East should have 3 teams 2 games better than Notre Dame, they aren't aligned with a Big East bowl.
  18. So Texas isn't more deserving?
  19. Who cares what Pitt does in the Fiesta Bowl? The game means nothing and it doesn't really prove they belong in a BCS game. Louisville is better than Utah. 1 loss by 2 points at Miami. Utah wouldn't of beat Miami on the road.
  20. Same here. I saw Smith as a more mobile Jeff Blake. Actually I thought Smith would end up being exactly the same QB that Daunte Culpepper turned out to be. It's too bad he got stuck in the Bengals QB Carousel. That's letting Smith off the hook. The problem was never talent, it was mental. He either wouldn't or couldn't grasp what it took to be an NFL starter.
  21. UAB-Washington NCAA tourney game. NE-Carolina. Super Bowl Miami-Louisville. CFB
  22. It's possible they could. Don't think it will happen. However a more likely scenario is that Auburn loses in the Sugar Bowl to Miami if they beat V.T. next week.
  23. No they won't. Paterno's lost it has a head coach, and beating dog Michigan St. and getting lucky against Indiana only hurts Penn St. has JoePa might have been declined to retire had they even lost 1 of those games. Instead, Paterno thinks it's 1979 again.
  24. Imagine if the old format was used. USC in the Rose, Auburn in the Sugar, and Oklahoma in the Orange.
