I don't think it's fair to say that Christian is all that much better on the mic. As a cocky heel, which is what Christian is right now, Edge is also good. As an intense face, he sucks ass. I'd suspect Christian would too, though.

You have to be kidding me.... I can see if RVD wasn't on as sort of punishment for being late for house shows. It would be a bit questionable, but really, I could see it. If you're late, you have to expect repercussions. But if this is actually the reason, this is ridiculous. Anderson must be deaf. Maybe Holly and Gunn get pops. But to bump RVD, the guy who is still getting pretty loud reactions despite the lack of push, is just stupid. I don't think it's even debatable that RVD is more popular. There is no doubt.

Because after that feud he did what? Was in a tag team with Hulk Hogan? Kinda, sorta, feuded with Jericho? Teamed with Rey? Not exactly the greatest followups to a feud with a main eventer. It's one thing to beat a main event guy, but you have to follow up. They never gave him anything to follow up with.

That reminds me... I would absolutley love a Benoit vs. Jericho DVD. Just all their matches, feuds, them tag teaming, whatever. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

6 months? I thought this was 10 years in the making! But I agree with you on the Battle Royal thing. It's not like, kayfabe wise, Kane really earned anything. He's only #1 contender because of HBK.

Man, this thread depresses me. Now I have no hope for the future, never mind next year.

HIAC, for two reasons. 1) Convience. It's too much of a hassle to set up the thing, and then take it down so another match can take place. 2) If it's right before the title match, it'll just kill any heat that match has. The crowd will be too drained to care. It'll be like how the Jericho/HHH match was after Hogan/Rock at WM 18.
