Why didn't they continue building on it, is what I want to know. All we got was Benoit pouting backstage and Bischoff trying to calm him down. If they really wanted to get him over as a threat, they should have had him hunt down HBK in the locker room and slap the Crossface on him. Referees swarm around, Benoit refuses to release, screaming incoherently about "My shot! MY shot!" But, instead, we got the continued burial of Benoit. I think the whole thing was entirely unnecessary...the second that I saw HBK start to step away, I knew that the superkick was coming...if Benoit is supposed to be the best that Smackdown has to offer, then HHH and HBK are doing a great job of burying Smackdown as a whole.
