  1. If and when they go back to Detroit...I'll take the long drive again. I went to both the first house show and BFG and had a blast
  2. As the longest standing TNA fan... I don't actually care about IMPACT!. There ratings go up...and I don't watch.... But next month I get Joe's first NWA title shot, Sting vs. Abyss (which is any decent Sting TNA match so far), Lynn vs. Sabin, An Angle/Stenier match that is fresh and intriguing in a weird way (maybe because Joe took Steiner to really good in that ring) AND another Styles/Rhino match (call it a scaffold...and there is a scaffold...but lets just see how AJ uses it before we judge). Before its over we'll see 3D/LAX, Harris/Storm (who will, IMO, tear the house down in there rematch at Lockdown. that's an old school bloody cage match if ever there was one) and they'll throw the X guys into something. Booking be damned. Talent will carry us home.
  3. I agree with every word that Lance Storm said. ... TNA had more viewers this week than in the entire history of the company. ... What the F do we know?
  4. Buffy- Loved it. Angel- Didn't like it that much until season 5. The final season was awesome though. Firefly- Favorite show ever. Serenity- Absolutely love it.
  5. 2 of those people actually died... and Edith was killed off on a spinoff... anyway... Tony on 24 still bothers me. He was my favorite character. But the top one is definitly Fred on Angel. What a damn great episode. It made me tear up. I'll admit it. The only episode of TV that ever has (except for "The Body" on Buffy...but that hit close to home for me as well).
  6. Best part by far.
  7. I agree with the people who are surprised that someone could be dumb enough to not know that pounding water was a bad idea. ... Before you take issue... DO YOU THINK IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA??? Dumb people die. Everyday. Granted in less dumb ways.... but it's natural selection done in the information age.
  8. Scrubs was better in seasons 1-4 than it has been since then. Although..the Scrubs thread never disapeared after 10 eps like the 30 rock one did. Baldwin is funny...but he does not a half hour sitcom make. It almost seems like the "fans" of the show are making excuses and admissions for its lameness at this point. ... Well...I do like it better than Earl.
  9. I think that Angle/Steiner could work. Both of them are believable ass kickers... And Steiner was REALLY good in his previous role. Dude never won...but people always bought him as a threat. Joe made Steiner's last run really good. And a run with Angle is interesting.
  10. This is why you almost have to ignore Impact to enjoy the ppvs: Joe vs. Angle 30 minutes 3D vs. LAX Styles vs. Rhino Shelley vs. Aries Sabin vs. Lynn vs. Daniels ... 5 matches that I think are going to be pretty darn entertaining.
  11. I like the Rock...and I love his promos... but to be fair...in the last several years of his career (pretty much when he turned face) his promos were entertaining but never made me care about his feud. He could put heat on himself...but who really benefited from the Rock's promos after he was cheered? I prefer promos from guys like Flair or Joe or Punk who put all of the heat on the issue...not their ability to make people laugh at catchphrases.
  12. Well the Pilot was written by Ricky and Stephen. I think they did that on purpose. But I like the American one better. Okay...this isn't true. The pilot was written by Greg Daniels who just pieced together moments from the British version without rhyme or reason. The only reason Gervais and Merchant are credited is because they took stuff that was written in context YEARS earlier and threw it against the fucking wall. The only episode that Gervais and Merchant have actually written was "The Convict" from this season. Educate yourself before embarassing yourself. Thank you.
  13. Undertaker has to lose. But...if he will...then yeah.
  14. As the original HHHater... this kinda sucks... I was so hating the DX HHH stuff that a return to heel HHH would have been kind of fun. ... That said... It's Edge's time now. Top heel in the world. main event of Mania... Put him over...pull that trigger...make a new TOP star
  15. ...Not a big Leena fan... But she is correct. Anyone who has access to the mod controls can change a password through the control panel. If the password was changed it would be in the mod log. Which means any one of them could find it. So if she's right... CONSPIRACY!!!!
  16. I think it's more of wanting the people who are "insiders" that are watching WWE to think that DX IS cool because they sheepishly call out Angle and VKM. The way they did it...no one who didn't already know would care...and anyone who did "get it" would have chuckled at best.
  17. I love Jim Lampley. ... ... ... ... ... She had it coming.
  18. The PMS moment is why I liked that segment. We got the "Who did this to you? Where is he?" moment with Dwight where we're reminded that he does care about people... But we also got the PMS moment where we're reminded that Dwight just doesn't get it.
  19. I liked the Angle/Joe stuff alot. It fealt cool that they brawled for over 2 segments when there was supposed to be a main event. I also liked that Christian attacked Angle after the long brawl. Smarmy heel Christain rules.
  20. bps21 I've got a bunch of games...I'll play anything
  21. I thought that, on top of having a really strong match, they played with some conventions smartly. First...everyone knew that the first match went short...and damn did that add to the anklelock/choke series in making (at least me) believe that everything could have been the finish. Secondly...after Angle tapped following the ref bump...I would have bet dollars to pesos that Angle was winning that match. Joe getting the choke out tap pretty much shocked me.
  22. "then he was turned heel for a bizzare reason when TNA decided they didnt want him to beat JJ." Dusty Rhodes happened.
  23. I think that some people are just ridiculous. So Abyss lost... To KURT ANGLE... before a ppv where the most important people to keep strong were...JOE AND ANGLE... Oh...btw...Abyss went toe to toe with the biggest star that's ever stepped in a TNA ring... I would almost argue that Angle was hurt more than Abyss since he made Abyss look like friggin Undertaker in a Smackdown main event. ... ... Oh wait...maybe that was the point. ... Anyway...mad props to Christian who bumped harder than I've ever seen him do and put on a HELL of a TV match with Rhino.
  24. *cough* 15-1-1 *end cough*
