Fun fact of the day: I hate doing these after my team loses. Week 3 is over...and it sucks. Oh sorry...I got lost for a minute there. Most of the teams that were supposed to win, did win...and the Packers...well they just digust me. Lessons learned: 1. The Bills Offense can't work without a running game, and having to overcome retarded playcalling doesn't help. Not only is Henry injured now...but he also wasn't any good. When you are in the 4th quarter of a game, and the defense has not only given you TWO field starts on you opponents side of the field...but ALSO scored you 7 points and held the other team to 10 despite a HUGE difference in time of possession...you have to be downright STUPID to lose. Well...they did. 2. The Vikings should walk away with the NFC North. It may only be 3 games...but all three were wins over each division team. Two of them were even on the road. If their toughest challenge is an Green Bay team that couldn't beat Arizona... 3. Week 5's Denver vs. Kansas City should be fantastic. Denver plays Detroit this week...and should win. KC plays Baltimore...and should win. That would set up a tremendous battle of the undefeated division rivals for the next week. I can't wait. 4. The Washington Redskins *Might* be for real afterall. Sure they lost in the end...but I think I'm actually starting to see something from them. I don't know if they'll be around in the end...but I do know that Coles was a tremendous pickup *cough Peerless wasn't*. 5. Weren't the Chargers supposed to be at least decent this year? There hasn't been even a sign of life out of that team yet. Week 2 Rewind: A look back at something said last week that was either brilliant...or really dumb: Brilliant: "14. It's gonna take some time for me to get over that last game. Even if the Bills Offense had played BAD they should have won that stupid game. It comes down to a big problem between the Offensive coordinator and the GM. The GM cut or traded away a gamebreaking WR, pass catching TE and passcatching FB for a possession WR, blocking TE and blocking FB. It was obvious to everyone that the game on Sunday should have been conservative "try to get first downs or punt" football... instead I see frigging halfback options passes and shots into triple coverage...when 2 field goals would have been huge.

They were 6 for 6 on TDs in the redzone coming in. In two trips to the redzone Sunday I saw a lovely HALFBACK PASS!!!!!!!!!!!! and Drew Bledsoe miss a wide open Travis Henry by never looking away from Moulds. The playcalling is about the worst I've seen. But I will be anything and everything I own that they won't lose at home to the Bengals.

"I want to see a Bengals vs Bills match up sooo bad. Corey Dillion could run the ball 25 times while Warrick and Johnson get 7 receptions a piece." That may be well and good...but even with the Bills O malfunctioning at high levels...the D didn't give up big plays...forced a bunch of turnovers AND held Ricky down to 2 YPC until they ran out of gas. The Bills D is the last thing I'm worried about, and if anything is better after the last game than even I thought.

I look at the Bills situation like this: They played the worst offense I have ever seen against the Dolphins...and were still in the game in the 4th quarter. Even with a backup RB...they just can't play that bad again. And the Eagles don't have a back that's going to pound out 42 carries either. Hell...if backup Joe Burns runs BAD he'lll still be doing better than Henry has so far.

I just checked up on it and now they say Henry's done for at least a month. Luckily games against the Bengals and Jets fall into that time period.

They've got a real good chance to sweep the division. They've already won 3...2 on the road. Even if they lose all their starters...they have to be 50-50 on beating the Bears again. And they get the Pack and Lions at home.
