For my next pick, I'm going with someone I'm a bit of a mark for, someone who is super charismatic and a great in ring talent. He's someone who can get himself over as either a heel or face, but I think I'm going to book him as a super cocky heel, doing a combination between his world's best athlete/knockout kid characters. He can have a smark friendly match with Punk, dueling promos with Piper and bump like a madman for Bob Sapp and Kong. VIRGIL! er... CHRIS HERO

That's really the issue. There's a couple of really big names left who arguably shouldn't be, but I've looked at them and thought "well... what do I do with them if I get them? Do they fit with my roster, or my vision?" In someways I felt I kind of did the wrong thing by picking Punk. It was less that he would be part of my plans but moreso because he was one of the best talents available for that pick. Oh well.

The reason I passed on Kane was because I couldn't figure out how to make his gimmick work with who I have already and who I hope to pick for my roster.

Both of those are great picks.

This has been a very unpredictable round to watch, as so much varied talent has been picked up.

I wonder where Garth went; I saw him lurking around just a few seconds ago.

Nash is a good pick with the rest of your roster. Between him, Razor and Rude, you have a bunch of guys that would be a great fit feuding with the Rock.

At least they talked about the teams and the history though. Not hyping up two individuals to nauseating levels. All the talk about Kevin Garnett getting a chance to earn a ring was over the top. Especially the interview with Bill Russell telling him that he would give one of his rings to him if the Celtics lost and that he would still be proud.

That would be all kinds of awesome.

Quick question... are we picking/required to pick television commentators, or is this just strictly in ring/promo performers?

I was thinking the same thing. All they talked about how great a Lakers/Celtics Finals would be, starting before the playoffs even began.
