I have been a huge wrestling fan every since 1982 when I was 5 years old . I remember watching Paul Boesch Wrestling on local Houston television . With Hacksaw , One Man Gang , Brickhouse Brown , Jose Lathario , all of these really great wrestlers . I have since then been watching wrestling no matter if it was WCW , WWE , WWF , NWA , ECW, whatever I watched it . Over the past six months though , I have not been able to get into this WWE product that is on my TV screen . I have not been able to get into the direction that they are going with . John Cena as champ is about as exciting as watching Mae Young give birth to a hand . The guy was great as a heel , but now they have turned him into a complete weinee . He sounds so much like The Rock when he cuts his promos its sad . Batista is doing an OK job as Champ , he just lacks the mic skills to make himself a full blown star IMO . Tonight I put it on Smackdown and was completely lost on what was going on . From what I saw , I didnt miss much .
I have been checking out TNA on Saturday nights and I can get into it a whole hell of a lot more than the WWE . The six-sided ring is a bit strange , but the action and moves are pretty damn sweet . I know they are a bunch of WWE rejects on there but I like wrestling for the actual wrestling more than I do the acting dramatic BS . Thats just my opinion on the wresling scene as of now .
