Really? The only concept album? That's really a... pretty insane statement.
-
Fairly low tech. They had a screen behind them which showed videos of the songs as they played them, and some original content of the band talking and what not while the real musicians took their breaks. It was insane as far as energy level, though. Word was that this was a test run to gauge interest, so we might be seeing a big budget full scale tour at some point, because interest was off the charts. A line down the street and around the block, people were waiting out there all day. I was lucky enough to be right in the pit in front of the stage, but there were massive crowds outside the building watching on monitors, too. I know of a couple people who flew in from another state to see it. And everybody totally shit on everything that wasn't Dethklok, which was awesome. The opening band blew anyway. So yeah... I think the perfect real band to headline with Dethklok on a full scale tour is definitely Cannibal Corpse.

"Awaken" was probably the most violent part of the show when I saw them live, that might have had something do with it. It was during that song that I fucked up my hip. Problem with GITW was I think they slowed it down from the version that was on the show, and I preferred the old version. But still, I don't skip any songs on there. I suppose my least favorite is "Go Forth and Die". I like the lyrics, but the song seems a little too plodding.

Man, Kotz sure was a faggot, wasn't he?
-
I banned him. It wasn't business, and it wasn't personal. I just wanted to see how this thing worked.

Freeze everybody's sperm and then sterilize them. No accidental pregnancies, but you can have children if you want. We should all be Logan's Runin' It.
-
3 and 4 behind "Murmaider" and "Awaken" (made all the better after I named my dick Mustakrakish.)

By way of hot dog gravy, no less.

Trina? Nigga you crazy.

One time I was all fucked up and I was on instant messenger, and I was going on and on about the Cocteau Twins to Kotzenjunge. I remember this because the next day I was like "Cocteau Twins? What was I on?" I did that one other time to a friend of mine, except it was about Lady Sovereign. He maintains to this day that my inebriated ramble about Lady Sovereign is one of the top five funniest things he's ever seen.

Not really, just an occasional song here and there, and a short lived Fugees reunion. Which is exactly what I don't want to happen to Winehouse.

What you need is pan seared pea snaps. And tofu... I guess that's more hippie food. But with all the fucking vegans here, there's tofu everywhere. I even halfway like it now, purely out of convenience. Also, fish tacos are good, but totally just sound like a euphemism for cunt. There was a Mexican restaurant down in LA that made everything with shark meat or Mahi Mahi. That was good. I quite like shark.

I've made the "Let's Go" > "Crazy Train" argument several times on this board before, however, there's more good riff than Lil Jon used in that song. "Let's Go" was one of he best songs of the last several years due as much to Trick Daddy as Lil Jon. That was some mad niggerish shit he was laying down there. Twista... I got nothin' against Twista.

I think Amy's five grammys is a new gold standard of the music industry rewarding bad behavior. I'm glad, though. I just hope she burns out and ods while she's still on top. Go Team Ledger! Wouldn't want her to turn into Lauryn Hill or something. I haven't listened to her albums in a long time. I should do that.

And I don't object at all.

Actually yeah, that stuff is really bad in a more pretentious way than a disgusting way. Plus you know the portions would be small. There's worse ones in that book, I just always remember those because they're in the movie.

Hey Matt Young, I was just having a telephone conversation with Kinetic and you were mentioned. You've really arrived as a TSM standard now. -
Food's always better when it's shaped like a bear. There's a home video well known in my family of me at 6 years old prattling on and on about how much I love Teddy Grahams. I showed it to one of my girlfriends and she actually cried over how cute I was. And you know... I still like Teddy Grahams. And now for something completely different: After sampling the various and well known cheap hooch, Night Train is the winner. I prefer my cheap wine red, so I didn't like Thunderbird as much. Mad Dog was the best tasting, but didn't have enough alcohol. Cisco fucks you up nicely, but has a syrupy taste I didn't like (bad memories with drinking cough syrup). I didn't try all the flavors, though. Wild Irish Rose had the right balance of taste and bite, but Night Train slightly edges it by virtue of there being a Guns n Roses song about it. I wish, I wish I could find some Ripple.

I also like Freddy Got Fingered. I love shit that's intentionally horrible. Tom Green built his whole career on it. I'm a huge fan of Tom Green, for the record.

Maybe, but "Jingle Bell Rock" gets played a lot more than "Age of Aquarius", or at least it seems that way. The only time "Age of Aquarius" particularly bothered me was the use of it in 40 Year Old Virgin, tainting an otherwise hilarious movie.

This was what I was referring to: I don't think most people are just naming songs they hate. I mean, I said anything by Steppenwolf, but obviously I mean their hits. To continue the thread: a lot of Christmas music, but let's say "Jingle Bell Rock".

It could have been better. He was asking them to pray for his sister, whose name he told them. So they wouldn't have to mention his screen name in their prayers. Speaking of such things, I've started to seriously consider getting a tattoo that says "Milky". It's not about the internet, Milky is bigger than that now. Milky is a state of mind. -
Most of the songs mentioned do fit your criteria, though, Kawalimus. As an interesting sidenote, nothing is more oversaturating than muzak at work. Very interesting, my reactions to that. It got me to like James Taylor. They played Elton John more than anything else and I never got sick of it. Elton is that good. I got really sick of the Gnarls Barkley song "Crazy", so add that to the list. Also, "Let's Get Retarded". They didn't play that at work, but I'm sick of it too. And "Rock and Roll Part 2".

Yes, I can picture you and your wife deciding what to get on your pizza... "Pan seared pea snaps!" Yuppie shit can be bad. Not eggplant and parsnips, really, but like the stuff Patrick Bateman was always ordering. Free range rabbit with herb french fries, squid ravioli and god knows what else. To bring the two together, you might be interested to know that possum tastes pretty much exactly like rabbit.

Well, there was a reply that said that, it was just deleted.
