  1. No, I totally have. Oh wait, you're talking about a burger place. I haven't had that, no.
  2. I used to want to do that. I could easily catch serial killers because I'm just like them, just like they always say in the movies. But it turns out you have to push papers for like 20 years before you do anything like that.
  3. He also said you acted like a stereotypical n-word in another thread.
  4. A lot of the best musicians were heroin addicts, but I don't think heroin was giving them any ideas. Perhaps the experience of being an addict was inspirational (John Frusciante has said this). I'm actually fairly positive on hallucinogens, but they can alter/ruin your life. Also, a good anecdote is that some of the best ideas I ever had I got while sniffing glue (something about multiple levels of existence and the density of light), but inhalants permanently damage you every time you do them. Fair trade? I dunno. I have confidence in my sober thought patterns. Most of the drugs I was doing were being done to escape reality. We can all agree that's bad, I guess.
  5. Hey Venkman, did you know that Frogg is white? I asked him once.
  6. You're an idiot.
  7. What kind of question is this? Almost better than Burger King? Fast food sandwich chains are ranked thus: 1. Chik Fil A 2. Carl's Jr./Hardees 3. Jack in the Box 4. Whataburger 5. In n Out 6. Wendys After that, it doesn't really matter. I will say that while I eat fast food maybe once a month or so, there's none of it I actively dislike. It's food, eat it.
  8. That's not a bad idea if/when we end up voting on this: a little bit of ranking the best and worst. While obviously I prefer my own list, I don't think I would realistically win over Steve or Paul, as their lists are more universal. There's no reason for anyone to dislike any album they've picked.
  9. Also, in regards to this, just for curiosities sake: once you get to that level of alcohol dependence, a fifth might kill you. Basically your liver is so damaged that the alcohol goes pure unfiltered into your system. That's what they have those tiny little bottles in the liquor store for. I always wondered that, like "What are you going to buy a shot? The fuck?" but for a late stage alcoholic, that's all they need. I wouldn't compare coke and booze, anyway, as far as that, because liquor is so much more easy to get, and pretty cheap. That was the source of a lot of my alcohol abuse. Basically I just didn't want to be sober, and anything that'd fuck me up, I'd be cool with, but since alcohol was so cheap and available, I just drank all the time. I've been called an alcoholic plenty of times, but I really don't think I am. I just drank too much because I could.
  10. I've always said that the South Park where they drink cough syrup was one of the most accurate depictions of drug use I've ever seen.
  11. Y'know, as much as I love Disney movies, I haven't seen that one in years. I'm on that shit.
  12. Yeah, I like that movie for it's camp value, and I watched it as a kid. I've got the original VHS (which doesn't play very well anymore) and a bootleg dvd I got at a convention. It's pretty awful.
  13. I was going to guess frosting.
  14. And it really cemented the mustache as a viable accessory. I'm wearing a thick handlebar mustache right now, and I actually did say "I'd never be able to pull this off were it not for Magnum PI." And I do love that theme music. Nice pick.
  15. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre My favorite movie of all time. Not much more needs to be said about this one, save that I'm aware that the way I spelled Chainsaw is different than the poster. Fellow TCM followers will know why.
  16. Yeah, one more... will start as soon as one more person joins.
  17. Speaking of cole slaw, my dad made me eat it when I was a tot, insisting I would like it. I vomited aggressively. A lot of foods I don't like came from my dad making me eat them. Spinach, for example. I've actually come around and now like spinach. Goes to show: let a child's taste develop naturally.
  18. Clearly it was bullshit. They didn't teach you how to spell.
  19. Simple concept: Desert Island. Solar powered TV/DVD player. 20 movies of your choosing. Go! Rules: - Serpentine draft rules (I figure 20 rounds is enough) - 12 hour timetable to make your pick. If it expires, the next person on tap can make his selection. If you've missed your turn to pick, you may do it at any time once you come back. - Please PM the person who goes next and let them know it's their turn. Please include a pic (preferably a movie poster) and a brief explanation of why you chose that particular flick. In the end, TSMers can vote for who ended up with the best overall collection. So far, I can't think of anything that would be ineligible...okay, Porno. Other than that, it should all be good. Any questions or doubts regarding films, PM me. 20. I'm listening to Don't Break the Oath right now, and the bonus track is on. A "Death Kiss" demo. Holy shit, King Diamond sounds exactly like Vince Neil on this.
  21. Actually the point of my post was that you should watch Quick Change. Y'know, I almost want to start another film draft with new contestants. I'm still bitter over missing this.
  22. Don't feel too proud, because never having heard of that movie lowers my opinion of your movie knowledge. It's a classic.
  23. Well, they don't really rape in jail, as everything there is short term enough that nobody is desperate yet. Beating, maybe, but if it happens it'd probably be your own fault, or else just for being celebrityish (and they always segregate famous/semifamous people anyway). Personally I'd take an ass kicking or two as fair exchange for the sheer boredom of protective custody.
  24. It's in Harry Potter... Millicent Bulstrode: a dykish bully from Slytherin house. I actually find old school names appealing, I'd probably go there if I had children. Not Millicent, though.
  25. Well, I've decided to try to get into Star Trek. I enjoy the geek experience, what with the whole established universe to get into... I'm into a few of those, and I think I'm due for another one. I've tried several times to get into anime and I just can't do it. But I still want a new geek fandom, so I'm trying Trek, beginning with TNG. I've sporadically watched episodes and enjoyed them, so it'll probably work if I start watching them all.
